This monument in Usce was erected in memory of the victims of the aggressive NATO bombing. There was indeed an eternal flame at the top, before the whole monument was destroyed by hooligans for political reasons. The inscription with the verses of Branko Miljković is particularly striking: "Homeland: Even if they would kill me, I love you". Although the monument has been partially restored, it is a shame that the city and the state do not restore the function of the eternal flame - it is an important symbol for our people.

The "Eternal Fire" monument is located in the Friendship Park at Ušće in Belgrade. It was erected in memory of the victims of the NATO bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The author of the monument is academic sculptor Svetomir Radović. The monument was ceremonially unveiled on June 12, 2000, on the occasion of the anniversary of the end of the NATO bombing, in the presence of the highest state officials. Homeland, even if you kill me, I love you. Branko Miljkovic

One of the monuments dedicated to the victims of NATO aggression in 1999. The poet Branko Miljkovic's inscription leaves him speechless - Homeland: even if they would kill me, I love you!

Beautiful park just next to the river. The Eternal flame js not eternak anymore, however its a unique monument with an amazing environment. There are three paths there. One for walking, one for running, and one for cycling. Always full of people and very vivid. With a childrens park full of huge instruments and other requisites. Perfect place to enjoy the nature .

(Translated by Google) A beautiful monument just a pity that there is no burner to just burn the fire. (Original) Lep spomenik samo steta sto nema plamenika da bas gori vatra.

Lovely quiet area of the city nearly to the river, quite great for relaxing, walking, running, etc. The monument is pretty interesting to me simple but gorgeous. All of my recommendations are to visit this park and take a break.
