Met the wonderful couple that has been managing the restaurant more like a home away from home. I would definitely be going back to S7. The owner Mr. Somik is a wonderful guy that pays attention to all the customers. The Chef has magic fingers and can be seen with the delicious butter chicken I had. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Below is my former review from two months ago. Last night I had the pleasure of taking my two friends from abroad there for dinner. Not disappointing. We sat outside and the traffic was a bit annoying, but that is not the restaurant's fault. We were warmly greated, Soumir and his lovely wife were very attentive, and I was happy to see business was good. We three had butter chicken (superb) and a rice pilau, preceded by an order of aloo tiki. A Greek salad and raita, too! :) All was freshly made and delicious. My only criticism was the raita, which did not live up to my expectations from the raita I have often eaten in India. But overlooking that, I highly recommend S7 and will return. This was an unplanned drop-by visit, but my friend and I were not disappointed. We hadn't planned to have a big meal, so we shared some veggie cutlets, fries, and two Indian-style egg rolls. There was a small selection of other Indian dishes on the menu. My only disappointment was that they do not offer (yet?) masala tea! The owners, Soumit and his wife Sumana, were extremely nice, checked back with us from time to time, offered suggestions. I look forward to returning very soon.

Hi, This is the great best restaurant I have found in Belgrade specifically for Bangladeshi and Indian people. They are well organised and know how to manage the cooking for us. Very good price compare with others Indian restaurants in Belgrade. Specially restaurant owner is very nice guy well mannered even he offered dinner with my own choice of food and without money. Simply they are best. I will be there in my next visit that’s for sure. Thanks / Hasan

I've been to this Indian café twice because I like Indian food, (being from England), I most often stay near that district, and the recommendations I have for good Indian food in Belgrade are in outer districts. Indeed otherwise the recommendations for Indian food are in other countries. I found S7 through Google Maps and went to try it earlier in the Summer. A nice small restaurant with indoors and outdoor seating, a relatively small menu with variety of food, and small drinks list which caters for different tastes. I only speak English and am in Serbia. My fault. But useful the owner Soumik is fluent in British English (as well as other languages). Tonight I had a lovely potato starter and then mixed veg curry with rice. I love rice but this restaurant doesn't do breads. I asked for the curry hot as I worried it might be bland. Hot was hot. Next time I will ask for Soumik's advice. Soumik and his wife Sumana are from Kolkata and came to Belgrade a few months ago. The wife Sumana does most of the cooking and S does front of house. They come from Kolkata and the restaurant name includes 7 because it is a lucky number. There are only the couple running the café so service was a little slow. However you get nice food, lovely service and friendly atmosphere here. There are many nice cafés nearby but I will come to visit again

Delicious Indian cuisine in Belgrade. We really enjoyed the food and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend. Really felt like eating from home. Thanks to couple who run the cafe.

We were in Belgrade for 3 days in August and were so happy to find this fantastic little Indian restaurant which serves the yummiest food, all with love and care. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple, Soumik and Sumana who has a great taste in her hands as she herself cook all the food. We had our dinner at S7 Cafe all 3 days during our stay in Belgrade and tried Chicken curry, Butter chicken, Pepper chicken and Aalo tiki, all of which were of high quality and extremely economical in price. The food is served with rice which makes it even tastier. Above all, the food is Halal. Thank you very much Soumik and Sumana for serving us the delicious food with all your love and we really miss your lovely food. Take care and lots of love from Pakistan / Dubai.

Fantastic food, delicious and home made :) Lovely hosts! Affordable price, which is very rare for Indian food in Belgrade.

Nice cozy place with Indian food. We ate spicy and tasty chicken masala here and cool grilled snacks. Hosts are friendly and definitely know how to prepare good dishes =) Recommended for pairs and small groups (3-4 people).

Portion sizes could be bigger. The food was deliscious and the staff was very kind.
