Second time here after over 6 years ago. Everything practically the same. Entire place is clean and organized, animals are very near to visitor so we can see them clearly. Labeling and information of the animals are also good. Herbal garden may need some upkeep and improvements, otherwise all pretty OK. There were not enough car park in the premise due to many visitor so we had to park on the opposite side of the road which is a commercial office premise. Not a big issue if it doesn’t rain.

Been here twice with different company and everyone loved it! Extremely family friendly place, saw many families and kids in stroller here too. It is an educational and fun visit as we can interact with animals in a close and safe space. The farm has label for all the animal creatures - Type of species, scientific name, location, diet, prey and lifespan. Some animals are kept in cages and guarded by a glass wall, while the friendlier ones are roaming within their quarters. Animals where you can take safely take pictures up close are llama, sheep, tortoises, birds, iguana dragon and rabbit. The pony bites and the llama may get slightly aggressive when they see you are carrying a bucket of feed so you need to be careful. One of the things I was concerned is the animals overall well-being as they are constantly stimulated by tourist and feeding. I was assured when I saw the animals look like they are in good health, reasonable size due to all the feeding but also not obese. There is a specific feeding session for some animals in the morning and afternoon. The place is not hot because it is well shaded with trees, I went once at 9am and 3pm and the heat was not bad. Weekend crowd was surpassingly mild too. I bought tickets in advance and the ticket’s validity is quite long. When I was there, no queue in sight so it is okay if you do not buy tickets in advance. I spent roughly 2.5 hours there each visit.

Great place for kids to see some animals and feed them too. You can also buy a bucket of food for RM10 which I personally think is a bit too pricey, RM5 per bucket would have been more reasonable. You can feed most of the animals here, catch the longkang fish, feed the fish in the pond, feed the birds, turtle, rabbit, Guinea pigs, etc. You will spend about an hour to an hour and a half here roughly. The only place you need to be careful when you go in is where the goats and alpaca are. They are usually hungry in the morning and they will jump on you to grab some food. The area is mostly shady and not too hot. Easy to walk around and feed the animals. We came here when my daughter was about 3yo, I think coming here when she is 7yo is more worthwhile. This is our second visit and the place is maintained quite well. Parking is free but limited here and I believe it will be insufficient during the weekends. May opt to park outside and walk in. You can bring your stroller, the place is quite small can get congested during peak times.

Fun place for kids & families. A lot of exotic animals that you can feed. The animal guide also are helpful. Just control your kids to not harm the animals and make sure the animals are given the correct feed. Another usual tips is not to go during public holiday; when you see a long line of car parked on the roadside, that is a clear hint that the farm will be crowded.

It is indeed 'farm in city'. It is located in newly developed area, surrounded by condominium, business and residential area. Sooner or later, I believe the residents nearby start to complain about the animals smells or traffic congestion. Visited the farm with 1 year old kid during weekend. The parking is limited and most visitors opted to park on roadside. A great place to expose kids to animals. Alternative parking spot is the business area opposite the farm with affordable fee (RM 1 per hour and free for the first hour). Recommended and will visit this place again when my baby is older. When you plan to visit the farm, it is advisable to do during weekdays. Otherwise, the

This farm is recommended to go for a walk and it is suitable for a family to play together. This farm is open, and there are many cute little animals in it, and you can also get close contact with the animals. You can also buy hay on the farm to feed the animals. The environment here is clean and hygienic and the staff are very nice. They will explain to us the species, habits, etc. of the animals. Parking spaces are limited here, so park your car on the side of the road before walking into the farm.

I wasn't expecting much when I arrived at the parking area. No research on the place was done as it was a last-minute decision by my son and his wife. We were planning to visit Colmar Tropicale, but the traffic situation was just so bad leading to the Gombak toll plaza. However, rest assured, I think it was a very good decision. We arrived just before 10AM. The parking area was full. We had to park across the road in a secured parking site. We didn't want to park by the roadside like many others. The entrance fee for 3 adults and one child under 90cm tall was RM117. The child got in for free. This was the walk-in rate. Upon entering the enclosed area, we were greeted by a friendly but noisy goose. It was standing on steps just by the entrance. Then, a parade of giant tortoises slowly made its way around the open area. Some were bigger than my grandchild. As you walked further into the farm, the lush greenery provides enough shade from the sun. Although the humidity may be too high for some. Wear light clothing and make sure you are sufficiently hydrated. The smell, the heat, and the humidity will be unbearable to some people. There are some areas where large industrial fans are provided for some respite. Covered seating areas are provided, too. Among the fauna found in the farm are various types of ducks, including mallards; huge Brahma chicken with feathered feet, peacocks, pheasants, parakeets; several types of lizards, including a desert gecko and chameleons; snakes; hamsters; raccoons, meerkat, donkeys, goats, pygmy buffalo, deer, horses and many more. There is even a small ditch that children are allowed to catch fish using small nets. At the very end, after exiting the enclosed farm area, there is a restaurant, a gift centre and a visitors' learning centre. In summary, it is a beautiful place to enjoy a morning with family, especially when you have young kids who love animals.

We r very enjoy visiting here. Definitely worth your time to be here. The farm is clean n surprisingly not hot as outside. Only one thing to be caution, dont let your kids hold the foods while entering goat area. The goats are far too "friendly" for foods 😁

As someone who enjoys animal interaction, this is a great place, not just for kids! I feel that the animals here are well taken care of, reptiles are in good health. When I held the ball python, it was not stressed at all which is a good sign regarding the farm's animal care & maintenance. Would not recommend coming on a public holiday as it's too crowded. And purchase the tickets online for immediate entry

This place is really fun for kids and families. its a petting zoo, where some animals roam free. You can feed them and touch some animals. Mostly, animals here are well kept. The place is quite clean, the cage are properly maintained.it can be quite crowded at times, plan your visit properly. Some exotic animals can be found such as dinosaur turtle, pink buffalo and raccoon. Those with strollers will struggle at some area as the floor and some attractions places is hard to access. All in all, its definitely worth a visit.

Not bad for a mini zoo close to our home. Took a family package rm132 for 4 pax - 2 adults 2 kids. Better come early to get a parking nearby.. Pssstt.. bring your own carrot to feed the animal.

Had a great time with our 5 months old baby! We went there on a weekend but the crowd is manageable. Ticket price is rm39 for adults. For me it’s worth the price with the experience, it’s good for kids’ sensory development. You can touch almost every animals here and you can feed a lot of animals too! The place is well maintained and animals look healthy and well fed. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Will come back again when our LO can run around the place. 🥰🥰

A very fun and learning experience for the family especially kids. Awesome cute n friendly farm animals n birds to pet and feed. Just note to bring some changed denominations of rm 10 as the food buckets are sold separately. Friendly staff and great experience overall.

Remember to book your tickets in advance so you don't have to queue up!! Great place for kids and animal lovers. Went there to see the alpacas but was pleasantly surprised by the other animals that you can see, play with and interact with. The alpacas would probably be chilling with an air cooler though, so if you're there just for them, you can't touch them. lol. Sometimes the animal keepers will let some of the animals out. There's a parrot that knows how to treat photo ops and will pose and spread its wings for you. Fun.

The best thing is you are freely to meet, touch, feed the animal. Only the cow, buffalo, alpaca, and turtle in the cage/aquarium. Not recommended to bring adult on wheelchair here since its unpaved roads, in birds cage there are even mini river. Stroller with babies are acceptable. Overall, we are happy with our visit. We arrived at 4.30PM and its close at 6PM, so we really having blast with all staff ready to back home taking animals back to their place. Only if you want to ride pony, you need to come early last at 3.30PM to 5PM. Refer photo with the schedule. And sorry for amount of photo, we took more video instead of photos. Oh just 1 thing need to improved by management, the food (vege) provided in 1 big cup is okay but for birds/chickens' food (sorry dont know what it's name, maybe pearl millet) also included in that 1 big cup. Its so hard to pour out that pearl millet to feed all the bird's family since we will meet them first after turtles. Its kind of unpractical. Maybe need to think another container or mini container just for the pearl millet. Because only in that cage you are freely to feed all kind of birds, chicken, duck, peacock etc. You surely don't want to miss that experience! Plus thing, you will find more food vending machine anywhere there if the veges you bought already finished by sheep and goats 😂 1 more thing, please wear long sleeve and long pants especially for kids, there are a lot of mosquitos there, or you can use repellent before enter the farm

Came on a Sunday mid morning. Firstly, we parked quite far because the parking inside was already full. Parking is quite limited, and MRT Putra Permai is like a 10 minute walk to farm in the city. Next time, we will probably come here using MRT. We bought tickets via walk in and before us there was no queue. After us, several people were waiting to buy tickets, but it did not take long to queue. What I like about this farm is that you can interact with a lot of animals here, and not many zoos offer this. We can even feed certain animals but must pay RM10 for the food, which I think is totally worth it especially when you go meet the goats and sheep; they are very wild and high spirited. They will chase you for food so be cautious. On top of that, you can also take pictures with birds, snakes, racoons etc. Pony rides are available at specific times. Moreover, there are quizzes that the kids can do to earn themselves a certificate that they can claim at the Rangers Outpost. Not to forget, cafes and gift shops are also available. Furthermore, there is a new multipurpose hall that companies or families may book to host events like birthdays and company dinner and so forth. Overall, I highly recommend that families come here.

Nice place to spend time with kids. Easily One can spend three hours time , you can feed birds, tortoises, deer, sheep, goat etc. Also there is small well, cow and Buffalo in vegetables park. Bird show is at 3.30 pm everyday, which is one of the best thing to attend at Farm in the city. Kids can do fishing, feed rabbits, touch chick (baby chicken), snake (viper) etc. Free tickets for the babies if height is less than 90 cm. For Local Adult ticket is RM 38 and for Children RM 32, for foreigner Adult RM 58 and for Children RM 52.

Every staff is very welcoming, they do sanitation frequently. If you are with kids, please bring the stroller. It’s not easy to carry kids around using the arms. The are some stairs that requires both people to carry the stroller up and down. Pony riding isn’t available as for today. Overall it was an amazing experience. Great place to take your kids as they can touch the animals and feed them.

The name and the experience are in the same wavelength. This is a farm experience for those who are out of village touch especially for kids who wants to get close up experience with animals in the farm. There are many animals around here with some which you can pet such as birds, ducks, chicken, goats, sheeps and etc. Almost all animals can be feed such as racoons, horse, turtles, alpacas, wallabies and etc. The ticket price is worth for the experience. Parking is free and spacious.

A really nice place to spend 2-3 hours with the kids and be close up to the animals. Go during off peak , you'd have more time to interact with all the cute creatures running about in their enclosure.

Highly recommended this place if you are looking for a place to spend the day with your toddler or love one. It’s a completely different experience compared to the zoo. Here you get to interact with the farm animals, pet them, feed them, and more. My 3 years old had a great time and ask to go back next week.

Well maintained petting zoo. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Animals looked healthy and well kept - if not slightly overfed. Great for active young toddlers who love animals! But they won't allow food to be brought in, and the restaurant in the area doesn't have good variety of food. So keep that in mind and plan your trip in between mealtimes.

I had so much fun. The animals are all very healthy and well kept. The cages are very clean. You can pet most of the animals there. It wasn't too crowded even on weekends because the place is quite big. You can explore the place all you want. The price for the food bucket is only RM10, which is reasonable because you can feed most of the animals there with it. Definitely will come again.

Pleasant day trip with friends on Friday noon. Crowd was still manageable even during school holidays. You get to really go up close with the animals, pet and feed them. Feed can be bought at RM10/bucket (hay, carrots, bird feed). The animals here are very well taken care of from their condition and very friendly especially at the petting area. Really recommend to bring your children to let them experience

Great family day out. No queues and really quiet. Very interactive. Not a huge place either so not too tiring for younger kids walking. We were there for about 2 hours and that included a stop for lunch/drink. Staff are great . Was such a great day. And better than a zoo!. For context we are from Australia and the animals were a good selection, not just farm animals but not large animals either except the a cow and buffalo but a good selection of different types of animals

For families, this is an ideal destination. Children can learn about animals, engage in hands-on activities, and appreciate the wonders of the animal kingdom. Farm in the City is not just an attraction but also a place that educates and raises awareness about animal welfare and conservation. It's a perfect spot for families, nature enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a unique and educational adventure right in the heart of the city.

Even though the place is a bit rugged and small but totally worth the money. They keep the place clean with almost every station have staff standby and washing basin provided everywhere. Very well plan with lots of activities for children. I loves the idea of Longkang Fishing which is a fun time for both adult and children alike. For my personal experience, this is so much better than my recent trip at Zoo Negara. Although it's relatively smaller and less animals than Zoo Negara but you'll still spend about 2 hours inside with all the activities inside.

I couldn’t get over how clean and well fed the animals are here. The birds especially. Their so cute and chubby. This is mostly suitable for children and not much for adults except for sightseeing. There’s a petting area as well to feed and pet the animals (rabbits, tortoise). It was a nice experience. Please do remember to do your part and follow sop as well as do not litter.

Very good managed. The animals are fun to watch and play with. Entrance fee is not cheap, but it is justifiable. The staffs are friendly. Animals can be aggressive toward the food you buy with RM10, kids will get scared and parents have to carry kids after that. Introduce them to kids slowly. There is toilet, and place to have light meal. Must bring mosquito repellent, and use them generously, so that you can enjoy better. Could spend 1.5 hour here.

Went today, it started to open yesterday/2 days ago. Very disappointed because the ticket lady lied to me: I asked whether they have guinea pigs inside, and she said yes. Excitedly went through all the area in anticipation for guinea pig enclosure, and didn't find any... asked two workers there, they said that they don't have guinea pigs. Price on the high side: RM38 for an adult if you have MyKad. Animal collection is a bit all over the place: e.g. some deer, some cows, buffalos, two/three species of alligators, some rabbits without any details on the types/breeds, a lot of tortoise and turtles, suddenly 3/4 species of snakes and some other animals. Compared to Taman Rama-Rama which is more fun with a lot of reptiles (OMG they have a lot), price is a lot cheaper at RM22... And also compared to KL Bird Park price at RM25 (adult with MyKad) which has a lot of birds + a bird show somemore... don't think this zoo is worth the money.

Went during long Diwali break. Of course, inspite of the covid situation, it was crowded. But pleasantly, inspite of the fact they have quite a few varieties of animals, the place was not smelly. However I must add I did not visit the cow , sheep n pony enclosures. But the outing was nice.

Went on a Monday to avoid the crowds. For the price you pay & the space, I must say that this place is probably borderline in terms of a Farm. The entrance had many turtles roaming, but on cement flooring and packed to the brim. Their conditions definitely shocked me. Plenty of worker interns providing help & advise. The place is clean, and it has to be given the number of species all packed into this place. They definitely have done a good job in making this place great for kids to get really close to animals. Many different birds, etc… so it does give the kids a variety, but I must say that I cannot imagine this place on the weekends. Overall we came due to raving reviews, but in hindsight should I have known the conditions, I would not promote it. The animal feed was also overpriced at RM10 for a medium size cup. I do think the management should do much better in ensuring the conditions of the animals. Better off supporting our Zoo Negara which is cheaper per pax!!

Nice place to be in touch with nature. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. Minus one star for the cost, small round of pony riding which last for less than 2 mins cost 7 bucks. But a good place to bring your kids and educate them about nature and animals, especially city kids who rarely have a chance to encounter and pet ponies, deers, goats and other animals.

Very beautiful experience there, had fun with my kid. Place was clean and beautiful. Had a great time walking there, place was a little hot in the afternoon, but not too bad, bring an umbrella of the day is too hot. Animals were well taken care of, we had the chance touch and feed animals.Overall very nice experience.

Great farm experience for adults and kids alike. There are many food and beverage options in the farm which are affordable. Do bring a cap or umbrella as it can get pretty hot as you wait for your tractor to pick you up. Farmers have a quirky personality and are ever ready to answer questions

Kids love this place very much. From the youngest to the oldest love this place. Please note thst outside foods are not allowed inside, bag checking is there in the entrance itself. You can bring watercan. As per my experience, we can spend minimum 2.5 to 3 hours here but please plan to be there around 11 - 12 o'clock so that you can cover all the places before rain. After 3 - 4 pm I think mostly there will be heavy rain so we cant able to cover if we reach there late. Inside canteen is there.

This is the best Zoo i have ever visited in Malaysia. You can't find skinny animal in here. The staffs are very friendly and lovely. The environment was clean and organised. My favourite was the bird section. The beautiful birds will fly to your palm while feeding them, and even stand on your shoulder for you to take photo. Bravo to the management and keep up the good work.

Good place to bring along family. Plenty of small animals and reptiles here. You can touch or see the animal closely. But the ticket is slightly expensive. There is no crowd when I visit, so i can slowly see all animals. Overall is good.

It’s alright- I could skip it tho For the most part the animal handlers were super friendly. They let us feed the birds and pet the allowed animals. Just had a little problem with the counter and the “food bucket” sellers. We are for the most part cashless and did not have RM10 in cash. They do not accept any E wallet for the “food buckets”. Tried to exchange 10 with the counter or maybe personal transfer the sellers for their RM 10 but they did not allow. Just said - “no” . My experience wasn’t so great after that because a big selling point was being able to feed the animals. There is a decent amount of small animals to see. But yeah that’s abt it. Also parking is quite bad and the roads leading into the farm had so many potholes and was very unkept. Tips to go : bring cash , umbrella

Amazingly well-maintained petting zoo with a wide variety of animals to interact with. All the animals seemed very well taken care of and active. Additionally, all staff members on-site were very helpful and friendly as well, creating many memorable moments for us even amidst the weekend rush. Definitely recommend a visit here with friends or family as it's well worth the entrance fee. Just remember to bring RM 10 in cash for the animal food buckets if you'd like to feed the animals.

Well trained staffs were there to explain n guide u proper ways to pet/feed the animals! all of us had great fun time here!

Next off the list, is this super adorable petting zoo that’s merely a distance away from the city centre. This is your one chance to get up close and personal with tame and exotic animals by interacting with them. There’re 18 different stations in total, set foot on an adventure to uncover all of them. From big-eyed llamas to the world’s smallest species of horse – Falabella horse, it’s cuteness overload everywhere you go.

I thought this place was too good to be true when I looked at the reviews. It was the MOST wonderful experience I've ever had with Zoo kinda settings. You can pet almost all the animals inside. I went there during the weekends on Saturday, and surprisingly the traffic was good, not too bad. If you're worried about the heat, don't, it's well covered with trees but ofcourse you'll get a little sweat lol.

This place exists within developed surrounding area. You probably worry about worthiness of visiting this kind of zoo with that amount of entrance ticket. Well they do have unique animals that probably you don't find in other place. Namely alpaca, kongkang, raccoon, mandarin duck, pelican and hundreds of tortoises. You just have to look around as some of it probably hidden above or under the tree.

I absolutely love this place. It was my second visit. Employees there are polite, helpful and always aware of surroundings. The enclosure areas are very clean. Interaction with animals are the best. Good place for kids and animal lovers but please monitor your toddlers because kids in general get very excited and might behave such a way for an animal to get hyper. I witnessed something like that but the mum & employee was super quick, if not the kid would have gotten packed by a chicken 😅

Amazing place to visit for animal lovers (and kids) when in KL! My 2nd trip here, and I plan to come here again every other year, my 3 year old kid loves it. Visited last year with my little toddler. It’s good outing with kids to see the nature with farm animals. Not too many kinds but consider quite enough for a weekend walk in the petting farm in the city. Place considerable clean. Staff were fine & helpful. Little kids can have a try for a pony ride. Time spent is about 3-4hours.

Overall, very happy with my visit at Farm In The City. Spotted plenty of wildlife animals such as Alpacca, meerkat, marmoset, ostrich, peacock, owl, kangaroo, python, and many more Many animals are allowed to roam freely. Therefore, you can get close and personal with some adorable animals such sun conure, pony etc. You can also purchase animal food worth RM10 to feed the animals. For the best experience, you can bring your family to watch their farm daily activities as follows: - Turaco Feeding (10.15am) - Pelican Feeding (10.30am) - Lemur Feeding (10.45am) - Otter Feeding (11.00am) - Animal meet & Greet (11.15am) - Porcupine Feeding (2.15pm) - Meerkat Feeding (2.30pm) - Lorikeet Feeding (2.45pm) - Parrot Show (3.00pm) - Animal Meet & Greet (4.15pm) You can also bring your children for a pony ride on 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, and 3.30pm-5pm by puchasing tokens. There are also food and drink stalls in the farm to replenish your energy before continuing your journey. The over the counter ticket price is RM39 for local adult, RM32 for children and RM32 for senior citizen. They are open every weekdays (except Tuesday), weekends, and public holidays. However, as parking is limited in the area, you may need to park your vehicle at the roadside or the nearest shop lot. Bring along your family and kids to enjoy the beauty of wildlife.
