August 2020. They practice the registration of customers, temperature check and social distance. Well done. Services provided was great. The food serving size balances with price. We enjoyed the Prawn, Fish and Vegetables order. There also sell other items such as, Hokkien Wedding Sweet. A side stall selling Pineapple and Guava. It's worth a visit. Location is at small town and usually here is more famous for Ulu Yam loh mee, but either is passby when going to somewhere or could be a day trip with Kuala Kubu. Parking, it may not have large space but just maybe further if dont have any nearer. Nothing to worry... Food, I have several time try the 2 main dishes, the curry fish head which very nice, thick of curry taste and if you ask more fish meat then chunk of hot nice fish meat, covered with curry sauce but the inside is nicely cook white fish meat 🫕🐟🐟. The chilli prawn also equally nice, even heavier taste and sauce which put with the white rice is definitely flavourful...🍚🫕the prawn meat is fresh when you bite can feel its bouncy...🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐...hope with more friend can come try others dishes...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good restaurant serving hokkien styled of cooking. Their signature dishes here are claypot curry fish and claypot curry prawn. Tried the dongbo pork too.Overall, all the foods are good and delicious. Price is reasonable. There are two stalls in front of the restaurant, one selling very good bacon, another one selling pineapple and guava. You can order from both to find in. This is a non air-conditioned and non halal restaurant.

Creamy prawns was good with very fresh prawns. Another famous dish here is fish head curry which also did not disappoint. Price is very reasonable. Do come early to avoid crowd.

Been here a couple of times long time ago. The restaurant still one of the most frequented place by food hunters from the city. Usually came here in groups but recently came in 2 on a Thursday for simple lunch. Reached around 12.30 noon and as usual, the place is packed already with food hunters while parking spaces still limited. The environment still the same, humid and hot but luckily there are more standing fans all around the tables. Since only 2 persons, ordered their famous Claypot Curry Fish Head and some side dishes. Surprisingly, they don't serve Curry Fish Head in claypot anymore but instead in a small metal pot. Frankly, the taste of the Curry Fish Head no longer the same compared previously, it's more watery now compared to previous cooking styles, smaller portion, fewer fish meat, more mixed vege and the curry tasted more of curry powder instead of the old cooking style which has thick gravy curry soup with strong Santan flavouring. Prices increased and no longer cheap as compared to those days against the current portion served.

The food taste good and price reasonable. Due to overcrowded and does not has a proper waiting system, it could be a mess getting a table. Some local frequent can be very rude and refuse to cue for their table. I hope the owner could improve their waiting system. Must try the creamy prawns pot, the prawn is fresh and taste very good! The stew pork belly, has a strong ‘five spice’ smells and it seems a bit overpowered the dish.

5 stars for cleanliness . Packed one small fish head curry with fish meat it costs RM 23 and a small portion of PRAWN curry. it has abt 8 prawns quite large one i would say . it costs RM 25. I Called beforehand . an hour or so before coming here. Quite a number of customers was having their lunch. once I arrived they started cooking the dish I ordered. it took abt 15 minutes to prepare. The fish curry was NOT so spicy, just enough amount of spices used ti give that oww curry kick with a few ladies finger and the prawn curry with coconut milk was deliciously prepared. This portion of curry should be sufficient enought for a pax of 3 to 5 person( if u are not a heavy eater). If you are a fish heah curry lover I recommend you order a bigger fish head. All the dishes here are highly recommended

Good food but can get very crowded. Warm during the hot afternoons. When it's rains, it's so comfortable. Always satisfying and you can buy their frozen prawn curry gravy home to cool it yourself.

Owners are polite and smile frequently. Recommended 3 dishes for our lunch. Curry fish head is the best. Helpful in helping me to order 2 fried yam cake as it was long queue at the store. Will visit again for the other dishes soon. Worth the trip to dine too!

Here for the first time on a normal Saturday (normal as in not a long weekend during public holidays). Recommended by aunt-in-law, a regular patron of this restaurant. We didn't have breakfast and were here for brunch. Didn't have to wait long for food to be served. Service was satisfactory. According to my aunt-in-law, quality of food had dropped slightly compared to her previous visit.

Must try the curry fish head and prawn. The sauce is thick and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is limited so you will need to park at the side of the road but traffic is little.

👍 Many variety. The Chinese and Malaysian fair is good. Western is not so good. Sausage is hard and dry like left overnight. Overall is not bad. Big area to sit. Good for big groups.
