Really excellent grilled fish stall which mystifyingly also sells cakes. This ikan bakar place is at a food court that is spacious and cooling. I like the pricing transparency, where they show price of the fish and you can even go and pick the fish you prefer and they would weigh it. The fish is not displayed but refrigerated which is good for hygiene. They butterfly the fish beautifully before seasoning and grilling. The siakap (sea bass) we had was so juicy and fresh. The squid (sotong tepung) is really good too. And the kailan with oyster sauce is fantastic. One thing for improvement is the cleanliness of the cutleries: it was still oily and we had to wash it with soap

Its in a medan selera.. Ikan bakar was okay.. Priced reasonably.. But the sotong was bad and undercooked.. Omelette was basically soaking in oil. Plenty of free parking infront the medan selera..

Kak Seri (the tokey) very responsive and accomodating, she entertained last-minute customers addition which caused her to move the table to the other side. Thank you Kak Seri! Pari bakar is the bomb! And flavorful sotong celup tepung all should try. They also sell tasty cake and brownies, a good one. There's a small surau accessible by public. Surely good venue for berbuka puasa.

Nicely done Ikan Bakar. They have different types of fish, all prices listed per 100g. They even show you all that they have in their fridge and let you choose the one you want. Though a thing to keep in mind if you're eating alone is that they often do not have smaller sized fish, mostly starts at 300g and above, if you get lucky there might be ones smaller. Fried seafood also available, prawn, squid etc. Their vegetables cooked in sambal belacan also a must try.

Tried their ikan bakar after reading good reviews on google review. So far, the foods were acceptable but not to my liking. Kailan oyster sauce tasted too sweet, and ikan bakar gravy tasted more on curry taste only. First and last try.

Really a surprise when my wife suggested to come here. The ikan bakar is not your usual sambal laden fish but more curry like and on the dry side. But it was indeed good (my wife telling my in-laws she has never seen me eat that much of fish before). The other star is the kam-heong sauce which we ordered to be cooked with the lala. It was indeed delicious the chinese style (adapted a bit to malay taste buds if you ask me) cooking made me broke my 1 bowl of rice rule 😁 Even though the place can be stuffy especially if more people were there, I would definitely come again.
