Really good cooking. What you would expect from such an established brand. Service was top notch. Will definitely recommend. Come in bigger groups to be able to enjoy more dishes.

It is a yearly ritual for my family to come here for dinner during CNY! Love the Roasted char siew and Xio bak is a constant reordering menu we would have. Staffs are constantly changing the plates for us as well to make sure we have clean plates. The Roasted Charsiew is very caramelised and sticky like taffy. The burnt bits are the best! The xio bak has a very crispy top layer and very flavourful. Even though its very good, cant help but feel the standard dropped. I rate: 5/5 🌟 The tofu dish was really tender and savory too. Surprised how the tofu can be so soft ! Goes really well with rice too the gravy. I rate: 5/5 🌟 The Lou Hei is pretty pricey. But for the quality of ingredients, it's a good cny dish to order! I rate: 4/5 🌟 The fried rice is a hot favourite as well with charsirw bits and long beans. It's very flavourful and the wok hei really comes through. Rice is pearly and evenly coated with the seasonings. Simply amazing! I rate: 5/5 🌟 The hor fun was surprisingly amazing too! Slippery wok hei fried flat rice noodles, evenly coated with the flavourful starch slurry. Even the ingredients that goes into this simple dish is not shortchanged. I rate: 5/5 🌟 Fried Ee mian is not very good for sharing cause of the crayfish. But noodles were very crispy and gravy was very flavourful with aromatics too! The sauce has a powerful seafood aroma too. I rate:4/5 🌟

This review is for the oversea express which located just nearby the main oversea restaurant. Well I think it's a hidden gem in sky avenue. Where to find roast pork rice -rm16.9 and char sure + roastpork rice rm 19.9 in genting? Not only the portion is quite large the meats texture and taste is above average. The only lady managing the counter attitude and service is commendable.

A pretty impressive Chinese food restaurant situated between First World Hotel and Skytropolis at Sky Avenue which serves authentic Chinese food which tasted pretty decent. Restaurant service is good and premises are clean. Dining tables are well spaced out on 2 floor levels with bigger settings at the lower floor. Prices are a bit on the high side but it is to be expected for its location at a Casino resort. Recommended to give this a try if you are into some authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine when visiting Genting Highlands.

Overpriced and all staff have a serious face. No smiles. Food ok but extremely high price for the quantity and quality.

While it's not the best representation of a classic Malaysian roast pork and char siew plate, Malaysia Food does serve a purpose if you're simply looking to satisfy your hunger at a reasonable price in Genting Highlands. I can't help but wonder why they would establish a place like this, which falls short of the reputation of Overseas restaurants. Perhaps, it's driven by cost-cutting measures that have unfortunately impacted the quality of the dishes. In the end, it might be more about saving a few dollars than preserving the authentic flavors. But if you're in a pinch and need a budget-friendly meal, it could suffice.

The food is very delicious, I would rate for 10/10. Especially the Siew yow (BBQ Roasted pork) very crispy and yummy, and also the roast duck. Their service is excellent as well, keep help to refill your tea.

We dine at Overseas IMBI at KL the night before. Service & food is of fine quality. Today we tried at the Genting branch. Service is just as good. Food is also just as impressive. The char siew, siew yok is so good. The horfun is a must order too. You will be surprised how many places can’t get this right. The restaurant is hidden at a corner not easy to find. Highly recommended.

Had dinner here yesterday and my family loved the dishes ordered so we came back for lunch again. Staff were attentive and polite. We were particularly impressed by Tracy and would like to thank her for her wonderful service during both meals!

Visited Oversea express for lunch. The kailan is great. Perfectly blanched and not fibrous at all. The stalk is thick but surprisingly thoroughly cooked and seasoned with drizzles of light oyster sauce and some oil. A welcome change from carb heavy offerings at most budget eateries in genting. Colour is great and super fresh. This, in my opinion, is a must order. Roast pork is above average but the part I got is a little too fatty for my taste. However the fat is nicely done without the typical chewiness you get at hawker centres. It's almost as if it became slightly 'crystal' akin to the fat in 水晶叉烧. Taste is on the saltier side but the skin is nice and crispy. Cucumber is fresh. I like. Charsiew is average and slightly dry. Soup of the day (salted vegetables with tofu) is salty. There's definitely msg in some of the dishes (I think it's the chilli) bc I feel thirsty a few hours afterwards. Quiet environment and close to first world hotel. Hopefully they can come out with roast chicken in the future.

My husband tried this restaurant chain in KL so he brought me in to try. We ordered char siew mee and spinach. The char siew tasted juicy and fatty - just the type i love, so it was great. The mee was cold and hard though. Hence overall will give the dish average. The spinach has good portion and i will order it again if i ever visit other outlets. Found the service was decent

First time Experience this restaurant rated. Served Chinese Food and Ordered ; Curry Boar Claypot, Lemon Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, Abalone Soup. - Environment Dining authentic Chinese and modern Western style quite ; Music choice really bad pick.. 2.75/5 - Staff services 2.5/5 or should be higher but there’s few lookalikes old staffs just not really in the mood [In process ordering, no recommendations, forgotten/ never write in on the order, need to re-order] . Compare new young staffs delivered better service. - Utensil and Plates are quite old and not fully cleaned. 1/5 - Food tastes quite nice and fresh 4/5. As well known Chinese loves to eat rices.. but per serving on the rice it’s like small baby fist size.. need to order more to make it up. Mark down to 3.5/5. - Overall price on food Rm181.4, Service Charge 10% and Service Tax 6%. Full disclosure Rm210.4 [Not bad for the price for 3 PAX] 3.5/5. Overall of the experience in this restaurant, semi recommended for new comers to experience the food taste but not for service. As for those who experienced it, there’s a better one nearby.. As my final mark down on review will be given as 2.75/5.

Poorly managed outlet serving dimsum and fried seafood (stale) noodles worse than coffee shop and as expected at exorbitant prices. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive after 2 reminders.

Great restaurant. We went on holiday, they allowed to reserve for 6pm or 8pm session. Means if you book for 6pm, 7.45pm you have to leave, good arrangement. We are dining in 10 persons, all the dishes are delicious, service is great too even full house. And the restaurant do not have break in the afternoon, means you can walk in at 3pm, 4pm or anytime between lunch and dinner.

Food was great. Order 3 dishes and we like the smoke charcoal duck the most. It was on promotion. We also had clay pot wild boar curry and veggie.

I came back here twice, consecutive days. The hor fun, char siew & roasted pork is a must order. All the dishes were done very well… It’s the best restaurant in genting

The dessert not served in hot maybe due to cold weather. Other than that, food quite ok.

😐 One of the most popular place in Genting and I had 3 visited in total. As a huge fan of XLB, I would say theirs are larger than normal ones but taste wise, hmm would say DTF made them better.
