The foods were scrumptious! Dining area was comfortable too and felt cozy. I love their wantan noodles and I’ll come for more of their other noodles next time! 💓

Good place to bring your family or a group of 10 in one table. The food choices are variety and tastes good. Kudos to them for changing their rice, before this the rice was like a very cheap rice, not suited for their price. And yes, it is a bit pricey compared to normal restaurant.

Delicious halal Chinese Muslim food. Came here for corporate lunch and made reservations at their VIP area. We ordered their CNY set lunch and yee sang. Food served quickly. Portions are adequate and prices are reasonable.

It is pretty good restaurant for what you will spend. It is good enough to bring your guests, friends and families. I was there for lunch but I think it would be a better place for dinner. Yes I am surprised.

Chinese food is like synonim to Mohd Chan. There's consistency in their cooking no matter which branch you go. For me, this is one of my comfort place to go to. I trust their options and it never fails. At least to me. This branch is located near KPJ Ampang. Parking can be difficult at certain hours but you manage. Just make sure you do not double park. And not getting ticket for parking by the roadside. Their dim sum are good too. So do their chilli crab and their salted eggs an butter dishes. I like their steam fish and veges. The taste wasnt too strong neither too creamy. Just nice and proportionate. Perfect for family gatherings and groups bookings. Definitely recommended.

Hi , This is one of your loyal customer. I have been going regularly to your 4 branches which is in Meru , Melawati , Shah Alam and Ampang. I wish i have good review to share with you, but sadly for the first time today i need to make a complaint. The last time i been to Ampang branch is 1 year ago, because i always go to melawati its nearer to my house. so today at 8 pm i had dinner in Ampang Branch. Customer service was okay . but this are the things that happen : 1. 5 min after we order, they send mopu tofu to us. without rice and without other dishes . 2. 15 min in , mopu tofu is cold , my lemon chicken arrived. This is disappointing. I paid RM 28 for this and the chicken that I get is soooooo little. the palm of my hand are bigger. when i eat at melawati it was big and we can barely finish for both of us. but this , i think the portion is quater 1/4 that what it should be. 3. as your regular customer, i always order mopu tofu and lemon chicken. We never order anything else. so i know how it taste and look. Mopu tofu tasted soooooo different . and i cant see or taste any chicken. 4. I ordered Bbq chicken pau. 30 min after i ordered , it came, and it came STILL FROZEN. how i know ? i open the pau and the filling is still frozen. so i ask nicely to change for me.. 5 min i waited , THEY BRING THE SAME PAU THAT I OPENED .(didnt change to a new one. they just reheat) I lost my appetite, i didnt even touch it and i left. 5.when i wanted to pay, the offered to pack the pau 😫 which i refuse . and i still get charge for it. sorry MOHD CHAN. you just lost a customer.

Order for calamansi cooler (limau + asam Boi) . But when the juice came to me, there is no limau and asam boi inside the drinks and when i ask the staff..they said gambar hanyalah ilustrasi..means that u wont get what ever u see from the menu book…what do u meant by that phrase??

Manage to get a late dinner at this restaurant. The food taste like real Chinese but is halal. Food was okay and not sure why the service charges.

We had tasty Kam Heong, omelette fu yong was not very oily and fried well with onion n mushrooms, sizzling tauhu was nice, broccoli with abalone was a bit tawar though but still cooked well. You must try the dumplings really good. They also sell frozen dim sum, a must try too. Service was fast. As we came on CNY and it's on public holiday so parking was easy.

Love the ambience, love the service and the food. Generally its taste/quality standards are upheld. Some may question why the prices are on the high side, i find the amount i expend each time to be fair to the dishes i sample.

We came with 6 adults and 5 children. The staff are efficient and professional. The food was great. Almost every dishes has different unique taste. Unlike some chinese food all taste the same. 5 stars. You may need to park a bit far since it is a busy street

This is my first time visiting this branch. I had visited one in Shah Alam many years ago. The photos below show what I have ordered. My reviews are as follows; 1) Taste: Ok, and nice although I can't say every dish is terribly delicious. Perhaps menu too extensive. 2) Freshness: Great, prawn, vegs are fresh, but beef I feel overcooked and isnt fresh. 3) Drink selection is great. 4) Price is high. 5) Portion is reasonable. 6) Service is slow, but this is fair considering peak lunch time. 7) Restaurant is clean.

I visited Mohd Chan Chinese Muslim Restaurant for lunch today. The food was very good, but I believe the prices could be more competitive. The service, on the other hand, was excellent. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes that cater to various tastes, and the ambiance is pleasant. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, but some adjustments in pricing could make it even better.

A good place for dinner. Celebrated a friend’s birthday yesterday and the waiters were helpful. We had Steam Siakap Lime, Kam Heong Chicken, Udang Nestum

Chinese muslim restaurant. Crowded with tables with barely space for walking. Need to wait for the table. Thai taste of dishes. The siakap tiga rasa is superb. Steam siakap is a bit tasteless. Fried Squid has flour taste. Mushrooms brocolli is nice. Sweet sour chicken is also nice. The ice tea lemon is good. We ordered more rice than needed and wanted to cancel two but couldn't.

Loved the good, the ambience the approach the essence. Loved loved loved it. I'll definitely visit again. The place is very clean. Couldn't try the dim sum even tho I really wanted to.

Nice and friendly staff. The place it's clean inside and back shop. The food is very good, fresh, delicious and tasty. The price is reasonable - $$. Very good in using paper straw. It's should be follow by another restaurant to do the same things. I will coming here again for dim sum or book for my family.

This is my 2nd time dine in here, ordered super simple dish - old style cantonese and spring roll, took us 30 minutes to get our food. Super slow service. Hope they can improve. Also 16% service charge is too much, which we ordered by ourself through scan menu, not by waitress.

Their options for vegetarians are limited and its as if they have no idea what is vegetarian. Although at the end they did accomodate. Taste wise, i would say it was just ok. Not the greatest. Their lime sotong was nice.

Fantastic Muslim Chinese restaurant. The ambience is fantastic. The food is excellent. The Dimsums were very tasty, try the Chicken mai and Thai dumpling. The soups are also excellent. The staff is polite and very helpful and they don't judge you. The prices are also quite reasonable probably because I come from the Arabian Gulf.

Staffs are veryyy friendly. Foods are very nice and tasty. Not crowded even on public holiday. Free dessert for downloading their apps. ❤️

I’m so disappointed with the food! The dimsum and bao served cold! The crowd are not busy that time only 3 tables including us. This is not what I expected from Mohd Chan Restaurant! You can do better.

Absolutely delicious Chinese-Muslim food! I can always get my cravings for a good Chinese cuisine here. Recommend the Cantonese Style Noodle together with their Iced Pu Er. Do note that sometime it's full house, so do make a reservation if you're coming in a big group.

Have not been here for quite some time. Happy to experience that the food quality is the same. One good thing is the fast speed of the food to be prepped and very helpful staff. Overall nothing to complain about. Hot coffee is super nice.

This restaurant has been recommended by lot of my colleagues and friends. Even my family likes it. But from my experience, there are some pro and cons for this place as well. 1) The atmosphere is quite relaxing and its almost the same as old town whitecoffee. 2) For ordering, they use a system where they provide you the menu, a paper to write your own order(code of food) and a pencil. 3) The staff is not quite attentive and aware of surrounding, which I had to call with slight loud voice to call them. But their service from take the order till give the bill is quite okay. 4) The food is quite good and some is okay. Totally recommended dim sum and I'm trying of other dishes in future as well. 5) The restaurant located at a place that very hard to find parking, and the surrounding area is quite heavy traffic especially during peak hours. 6) They accept lot of types payment. Either cash or cashless, you name it. I can't give 5 star as certain food is not reasonable with its price but well. we live in a different part of the world and I can't argue on that.
