This is a small recreation park whose main attraction are 7 sinkholes in a small lake. As the water level was not that high when we were there, only 5 holes had water pour down through them. The water exits on a stone bridge and apparently these were built about 100 years ago by the British administration as a flood mitigation structure. Nice to watch and listen as the water descends into an apparent abyss. This is a place which I never expected to exist, but here it is!

Seven Wells of Serendah, also known as Perigi Tujuh Serendah is part of Malaysian’s heritage and consists ofΒ  7 wells or slushies that were built by the British government after WWII.Β  According to online info, the vertical concrete wells were embedded into the river bed and act like plug holes to allow the water collected in the upstream lake to flow out to the dam.Β  The wells were constructed to mitigate the floods that occur often in Serendah.Β Its a good spot to picnic with family there.

This place has potential to be a tourist spot! But sadly, it is not well-maintained. The rail guard is rather old and rusted. No proper road signage or any information on the history about this place there. The unique seven holes in a river is a sight to behold. It is worth visiting!

Also known as Seven Wells Recreational Park, the site is a small dam with seven sluices which are fed by water through seven sink holes or spillways, forming a curious sight of 7 holes (whirlpools) on the surface of the water. I pay a visit here when i finished my river cleaning activities nearby here. Eye soaring to see this beautiful place with lots of trash. Hope the government will send someone to take care of mother nature.

This place is a good neighbourhood recreational park. It's maintained pretty well I would say. It's a good place to exercise, catch fresh air, and see greenery. It's not a big park but it connects to the back side where I see many people fishing. I believe many local people come here to spend their evening time. While I was there, there were only around 5 - 10 people there.

Quiet attraction with seven bell-mouth water inlet with dam spillways structure. Unfortunately no information on site to explain the history and purpose of the structure. Easily accessible from main road with a small parking area nearby.

I strongly recommend to visit this extremely Unique wonder with history. Unfortunately, no history information sign board on the location. Do wish, the municipal looks into having history information sign and keep the growth by the river in control and clear the rubbish.

Please be responsible and throw away your trash properly. There is no entrance fee. It was constructed by the British government after the war to resist floods. Good place for short walks and picnics with the gazebo provided.

A small recreation park with historical value. Just located a little outskirt from Serendah town. The attraction here is that you can find 7 well connection to 7 exit dams flowing into the small river ahead.

Great place for a waterfall but too crowded during weekends. Parking spaces are limited too. There are also stray dogs so keep watch of your children and foods.

This used to be a beautiful site, until the rubbish from the river upstream partially blocked some of the wells. One of the seven well doesn't even have water flowing through it anymore. This place badly need some maintenance and cleaning up!

A bit disappointed with the condition. Its already a very simple compound, authority should do a clearing and maintainance. The water going down these 7 holes will eventually drain off thru the creek with 7 hole as well at the bottom. Relaxing ambiance though

Such a peaceful surrounding. I went on a hot afternoon, and the shady trees offered such a cooling ambience. The water was all murky tho. Anyway, it is a great spot for picnics, but there are no tables there. So bring your mats. It is a clean place.

Built during colonial time. it is a classically designed with environment concerned in mind. About the details of construction still a mystery or still in progress.

Buddhist temple
πŸ‘ Lovely Buddhist temple out in Rawang ~ huge in size with with multiple complexes. Very serene and great place for prayers or a shoot. Parking is abundant here and very spacious. The place will also be lighted up during the Chinese New Year period and would be wonderful to visit during the evening.
