Booked for 5days stay for business purpose. The parking was good spacious, the staff was abit friendly. They have smart tv with a lack of wifi connection. The toilet are kinds off sticky. I feel yuck to walk on bare feet. 😕 the room smell like fungus and non hygienic. The housekeeping access to our room even i DID NOT ask for cleaning services. I felt that was something unprofessionally. Thou didn't even fully clean the room when i reach back room in the evening. The shower water turns on by its self(spooky right) maybe faulty piping system. Overall i give 4.5/10 for my stay.

Well it seems like change of ownership recently. Its a 2 star hotel in my opinion running on shortage of manpower. While the rooms and bed are okay, the accessories and basic amenities like good water pressure and hi speed Internet is lacking. Windows in my room leaked attention and couldn't be closed (locked). Location is good, very near to GPO. You could walk down after a day in Genting or shopping to avoid the jam.

Very bad experience with this hotel. Hotel staff called me to made payment before check in so they can reserve room for me to check in immediately when I arrive. In fact, i queued up for one and a half hour and the staff told me that my room haven't prepared yet to check in. After i had my dinner and went back to counter at 8pm, the staff still told me not ready yet. After we scold them they finally gave me the room access card. When i stepped into the room, the floor is sticky, i mopped the floor with wet tissue twice. The washroom cannot be locked, the window broken. The lock of room door not functioning, not safe to stay. The staff went into my room and touched my things when i went out on second day. All the legs of chair and table goyang-goyang like they gonna broken anytime. But i am more luckily compared to other customers who are same with me, paid already. Because I always saw many customers given pillow and blanket to sleep in the lobby due to the excuse of lack of human resources to clean the room. I stayed there for 2 nights, everytime i walked pass the lobby, there must be customers arguing and some sleeping in lobby. This hotel is not responsible at all, they know that there have not enough manpower to operate they still accepting reservation and asked customers to make full payment. Really not suggest to stay in this hotel.

Room is spacious and clean, king bed is big, but seems like not fully furnished yet. It looks quite empty and feel spooky. Haha. And then the entrance is confusing, waze does not show correct entrance. Staff at front desk not so friendly. Had hard time to find the hotel. Ample parking space. Booked via agoda for RM160.

RM200 I paid for Sticky floor, smelly room and washroom, very bad WiFi networks. 11am the house keeping staffs are very noisy. Only the Bed and Smart TV will comfort you. Had good sleep. Hope Reka Hotel Genting management will remove the stinky smells from room and washroom. Pls add more router mesh WiFi every floor. Thank you.

Honestly, not too sure how this hotel could get a decent star rating. They deserve a much much lower rating. (Paid reviews probably) Check-in —————- Check-in was ridiculously slow. Initially I came by earlier at 1.30pm just to try my luck to see if the room is ready, but it wasn’t. I was told to come back at 3.00pm as per their policy. So, I respect their policy and left to enjoy Genting first and came back at around 8.30pm. There was a long queue when I got there. Waited until 10.15pm (7 people around me). Seriously it took 10 mins for each check-in. There was only 1 person manning the station which was funny despite knowing its a peak season AND knowing you have a dinosaur system (kept clicking stuff on PC idk what she was doin) Confronted the lady about the check-in speed and she responded with ‘room got problem’. That’s all. No apologies, no thank you for waiting, no eye contact. Eyes straight to the PC. There were elderly people and kids waiting in line. By the time I was done, there were still about 12 people behind me and some have been in line for 30 mins ++. At least own it up and apologize. You owe it to your customers. People are tired and need their rest. Plan better for peak seasons. If you know your hotel is fully booked, get more manpower, for check-ins and cleaning. 3 PCs but only 1 is occupied (another staff came, checked something on PC and left idk what she was doin smh) Room ———- Room is okay for its price. Bed and pillows were clean and fluffy. Sheets smell fresh. (So I can still sleep just fine) Cant say about other rooms. Got hot water. Everything works. There’s even a kiblat sign for muslims. Aircond works fine. Internet was slow though so the smart tv was not that useful. Cant even login to netflix. Floor was dirty. No musty smell in the room but there’s some smell from the toilet (plumbing probably). Sofa was dirty. No hangar. No do not disturb sign. Room was hollow as f. If people crawl at the hallway also confirm can hear. Blessed to have not so noisy neighbours although on the 2nd night upstair neighbours kept me up until 2.30am. Location ————— Good location. Close by to convenience store, a decent cafe and mamak. Others ———— No facilities at the hotel. Honestly its a motel, not a hotel. No food except for 2 vending machines at the lobby. Lobby has a weird musty smell. Some staff was not friendly. But some (cleaning guy) was accommodating and helpful. Verdict: Only stay here if you’re desperate.

Supposed room cleaning service should be done before 3pm, which is 12pm-3pm as guests usually must check out before 12pm. My family and I waited from around 9pm until 11pm+ still haven't check in, and they said that they are cleaning their room. Imagine coming back from playing whole day and they still haven't prepare a room for us. Also, the receptionist's attitude is terrible and egoistic. There are also another customers waiting for their room and even argued with the receptionists as they've also waited for 2 hours above. Please do not come to this hotel, pure garbage.

It is not worth a stay. 1. Customer service super not professional 2. Environment; the inner is super super dirty. The entrance glass door never wiped! 3. The room furniture is old THE ROOM’s TOILET is so so so awful!! With stink smell! Very very bad experience we got from this hotel! Will not re-visit again!

1. The room is not spacious as many good comments shown in agoda,maybe hotel buy the good review. 2. The toilet is ridiculous small. 3. Floor is dirty n dusty, the room is without proper lighting, whole room is so dim. 4. During my stay, there is a side lamp which can't function, the front desk came in my room to check, and she is wearing shoes and stepped into the room,making the dirty floor dirtier. 5. I stayed for 2 nights, but drinking water bottle is not refillable. Overall is not value for money, u can go GxO hotel which is just next to it, giving you a house with 3 rooms and nice swimming pool.

We book for the price. Comfortable. Got ironing facility. Friendly chinese lady receptionist. Helpful when we ask for halal food restaurant. Spacious room for family triple. Got aircond and fan. Tv only 4 channels. Free spacious private parking. Didnt get full star because got dog outside the front lobby and barking at us.

The hotel is advertised as newly built in 2022 in Agoda. But the hotel doesn't look new tbh. More like an old hotel that got renovated recently and workmanship is not properly done. There is an odour in the room and in the mini fridge provided. Maybe the previous guest messed it up. Also, requested for a large bed, but given two single beds pushed together. We booked at the last minute and were charged RM340 per night. The price and room given is not satisfactory for us. Also note that the Pahang government imposes a RM3 tax for personal room per night. Surrounding the hotel has plenty of carpark for off-peak weekends.

I had booked a room but when I reach the hotel, they tell me no room are available... This case only will happen in this hotel. Not only me, I saw others people also face this problem who booked their room, someone even is from Singapore wanted to check in at night. Everyone was complained and argue in the lobby. I don't know what they will do but me and my friend have to go back to KL. We have no choice and no place to sleep. Our 2D1N trip was ruined by this Reka Hotel. So THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK.

I booked 2 nights for this room at a cost of RM740 through Agoda which is definitely not worth it. The photos published in Agoda is ancient and the room is no where close to the pictures. Other than the strategic location and ample car park, this hotel is the worst I’ve checked in. The first room provided had only 2 small working lights, room smelling of fungus, spoilt fridge, toilets full of dead insects, windows which refused to latch and run down wood work. A request for a change of room was given, however, it wasn’t any better but I had no other option but to take it. In the new room after housekeeping cleaned up there was a small cockroach running around on the bed. The hotel only provides coffee, NO tea provided. So, bring your own tea bags if you are a tea person. The customer service is also poor. The staff sulked when I asked for a bottle of water (which they forgot to replace after house keeping ), they never picked up calls to the operator. There are many other options to stay around the same area which will be more worth it for the same cost.

Room is good, spacious. Only issue is sticky toilet floor. But the main issue is the housekeeping staff opening my room without knocking or ringing the bell! That's quite unprofessional! Made him to come personally to my doorstep to apologise like a gentleman because that's how it should be. Hope the manager train the staff to a proper procedure to check the room status because these things is easily avoidable.

Overall, the hotel location is good but the room condition is not as good as shown in the picture. The receptionist was polite and the whole check in and out process was smooth and quick. However, regarding to the room, there is a humid smell and the room is not that clean. Feels like the room got quite a lot of defects.

The experience is very bad 1) the hotel cancelled my booking when I reached the hotel and waiting for 2hrs at the hotel. 2) when the hotel cancel my booking is midnight, I don't have transport, it make me have to get taxi to go out the area. And all hotel around is fully booked! 3) Seeing few people come down to complain at counter about their room Fan and Air-conditioning problem.

very spacious oom . bed is so big and comfortable. water pressure strong. Staycation with my family. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. My next trip back to Genting , Reka Hotel definite will be our hotel choice.

Stay here yesterday 2D1N, check in at 8pm. Smooth process and need to pay RM3 for fi kelestarian. Clean & spacious bedroom. Cheap price, pay RM95 in Agoda. Would recommend to stay here again for short vacay.

We stayed at reka before and decided to stay at this hotel again🥰 the location is so perfect Environment: the design style of the hotel is modern and clean Service: excellent and very considerate service attitude. Transportation is also very convenient and it is very convenient to go out and eat! Room: the beds were very large i think it is a super king which I don't see in many hotels, everything was clean and the amenities was enough for what we needed. I highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel~

The hotel looked simple but it was clean ,tidy and comfortable. Thanks for front desk Yvonne Ng, she is a friendly and kind lady. I enjoy the rest and her help so much. The shower water helping me clear my 1day drive. The room was big and the bed is really comfortable I enjoy my rest here so much. Convenient location to many good food and near the strawberry farm.

I really don't understand why the hotel hire Yvonne Ng as a Hotel Manager. She is not fit in this position even lowest position in the hotel. The attitude is extremely bad. I have called few times to reception from the room seek for assistance but nobody answer. After that I directly went down to lobby and saw this stupid lady (Yvonne Ng) sitting on sofa. I was asked her that why nobody pick up the call and I got answered that she lazy to pick up. I really get shocked with her answer. The hotel should not keep continue let her stay in this hotel unless your management is blind. Even so much of bad comment about her but she still able to continue working in the hotel.

it was a great pleasure for me and my family to stay 2 nights at reka hotel. we checked in around 3pm and was very impressed with how big and clean the room is. everywhere was very expensive over the christmas period but reka hotel was the cheapeast for us and meets our budget. we think it exceeded our expectations. thank you for the great hospitality. the bathroom was not super big but it was clean and we didnt need a big one anyway as long as the water pressure was good and strong. my kids love the smart tv as you can netflix and youtube. for the price we are very satisfied.🥰🥰

The service by the management is terrible. When I reached there, there was only one staff (who turned out to be the hotel manager) handling the check-in process. Apparently, the manager told me that they couldn’t locate my booking which I made under Airasia. She was really unhelpful and rude towards me when I faced the issue and was very rude to the support helpline. Eventually we had the issue resolved. It was because the management didn’t check their email properly for the booking voucher.

Very nice room, big bed, shower nice and hot, very good Aircon, very nice view from my room. Check in at 3 pm.

Reka Hotel Genting is truly a remarkable hotel nestled in a unique location. We booked this hotel for the price. However, it turns out to be fine to stay there. We liked the location the most. Plenty of eatery shops, 24 hr Marts, even grocery shops nearby. The hotel has ample of parking spaces too. Room was also clean and at a stayable state. It was just 1 mins drive to Strawberry Farm and 10 mins drive GPO. A decent budget hotel it is.

Within my budget below rm150. Spacious room, King size mattress, mini fridge ,even in a cool place the room still has an air condition and fan as well. Qiblat direction located. Separate shower and toilet. Parking available. Quiet place. A lot of shops are just a few meters away. As a bonus the staff was really polite.

Its a standard (2.5 star hotel) that provides basic amenities. Room is spacious & recently refurbished. Even hotel building looks old, but room seems to be new with recent refurbishment. Suitable for single traveller or couples or family looking for affordable price in genting area. Positive Free parking, nearby restaurants and convenient shops (walking distance) & spacious room. Disadvantage Noise (rooms is not sound proof as can hear noise from other rooms as well corridor) & bad internet line.

The room is nice and clean. At night around 8 pm, I encountered my door can't close and informed the front desk staff. They are trying to help and it took almost 90 minutes, but they still can not solve the problem. Finally, they arrange another room for me. I appreciated their help.

Employee of this hotel is quite friendly. The price of the hotel is worth as the service is good. This is one of the best hotel I have been stayed. Not only that, the environment is quite nice for family, couple, or friends to stay together. Its totally a good hostel option for people go to Genting Highland.

Not the best experience. We just got back from the theme park around 9pm to check in and the unfriendly receptionist said only 2 people per room when in the photo from agoda it shows 3 beds. We told them we would pay for an extra bed but they said we had to pay additional rm160 for a room. It was 9PM and we were tired and felt so cheated! They said the photo was old. Update the photo then??? Hotel is pretty basic. Good enough for ONE night rest. Dont expect fancy facillities. There is no wifi (even though it says there is in agoda) and there is NO LINE! The TV is a smart tv but no line, no channel so its practically useless lol.

The first room the receptionist gave me is the corner room. The lights in the room was spoilt so it makes the whole room looks like there’s a ghost sitting at one of the corner watching us. So I request to change to another room which is not at the corner. The second room it’s better than the first room yet the bathroom shampoo bottle both is empty. There’s a hole at the ceiling of the bathroom. There’s rusty stain on the floor. The bed is very uncomfortable to sleep. So I made a decision and just book another hotel on the spot. The condition of the room is very bad

Very satisfied. Good service, clean rooms and the hotel manager went the extra mile to decorate our room when we told him it was our anniversary. Theres hot water in the shower, clean towels close to many eateries. Theres a garden restaurant next to the hotel, a bit expensive but food was good. Overall we enjoyed the stay and will come back 😊
