Very old retro cafe popular for breakfast selling just breads and drinks. Cafe has no air conditioning as it’s an open space but it doesn’t get too hot inside. Plenty of seating with wooden chairs and marble tables. There are no menus so you would have to ask for recommendations. Staffs were friendly and service was quick. Heres what we ordered: ICED CARAMEL LATTE. Surprisingly delicious. Made with the traditional kopi but innovated to a modern drink. Came in a large glass, enough for 2 people to share. Price is also steep (around $7?) KAYA PEANUT BUTTER TOAST. The traditional toast with kaya spread and a slab of cold butter in the centre but with the addition of peanuts. The nuts really elevated the whole thing also giving it a savoury and nutty flavor. The bread is toasted perfectly and was soft in the centre. REDBEAN BUTTER TOAST. Tastes like a normal red bean bread but with the addition of a cold slab of butter in the centre. I am not a fan of red bean but the butter made it good. BLUEBERRY TOAST. A fluffy cream with blueberry jam. Not overly sweet and it brought back some childhood memories. Really innovative. CHEESE FRENCH TOAST. A regular french toast except the sugar is served separately and the centre is stuffed with sliced cheese. The separate sugar actually helped to adjust the amount of sweetness I want on the salty toast. It was very fluffy and old school. Overall, really nice cafe with delicious toasts. Breads are all toasted well and fluffy. Really enjoyed dining here. I can see why people love coming here for breakfast.

Delicious food. Nice be inside. You can experience a different dining style. The waitress take order and repeat it extra loudly to the kitchen. Everyone knows what you order. It's fun.

Very old school cafe from the 50s, serving comfort breakfast items like half boiled eggs, toast with butter, sugar and kaya. Their signature french toast is thick and rich with egg coating. Great place for a nice breakfast if you are in the vicinity.

Great fusion restaurant with amazing ambience! Staffers are energetic, friendly and eager to serve. They even greet you the moment you enter the cafe. They have a wide range of food and a good choice of drinks too. There is a playground area at the back for the kids and the place can be reserved for gatherings too. Would be an easy choice next time if I am in town. Keep it up!

A decent cafe tucked in kb town centre; one of the few that actually serve western cuisine. Friendly staff and a warm ambiance, it's no surprise why there are always people here! We ordered the American burger with fries and Chicken delight sandwich. The burger was actually good; juicy beef patty topped with caramelized onions and slices of sausages. The chicken delight was well seasoned although small in portion. Both dishes were decent, in terms of value. Full review up on IG (@thewickedpaul) and Wordpress.

Great cafe with delicious food and spacious area. The restaurant is big and spacious, good place for a relaxing dining. And they don't have have a food menu, so you better come here prepared, I will recommend French toast and jelly ice cream. And staffs here are friendly and price is reasonable

Came for my usual comfort food fix of telur separuh masak and french toast, and they didn't disappoint. However, the teh c was a total miss for me – way too bitter! I like my tea on the sweeter side. 😆😆😆

Takeaway caramel & kurma kopi, cold butter & red bean toast. Always loved then when it's fresh from the stove. Always enjoy dining in but it has been more than 2yrs the kopitiam only offers takeaways. Missed the kopitiam feel where you see retirees gather to have their morning & afternoon chat, workers having a quick breakfast or teabreaks.

The cafe just reopen back and suprisingly with technologies. We're no longer hearing the cheif shouting for orders. Its all with digital device. Serving a bit slow but acceptable. The food quality remain the originality and people are queing.

Delicious double cheese French Toast. Just say 'Double' or 'Single', the waitress or owner would know what you'd mean. Try this with a cup of coffee and finish with the jelly ice-cream. ooomph! Just made your Sunday morning...satisfying...

This is a place that time stood still (in a good way!!) and a must to visit when in Seria. 5 stars because of atmosphere and the simplicity. Less is more😊

A cosy cafe in the ‘old’ commercial area of the town. Overall, food was decent - quite disappointed with the brownie because it was dry and crumbly; I prefer it to be of the moist type. But the Portuguese tart was good, I like the generous filling. The hazelnut latte was okay. Price range is what you’d expect from any other trendy cafe. Regardless, I’ve no problem visiting here again in another opportunity because there’re still many remaining varieties of menu I’d like to try especially the other cakes and pastries.

A local institution in Seria which has the softest steamed bread with Kaya and butter. Hard to find places like these nowadays, which is a classic kopitiam ran by the original family.

  • 5/5 Azri I. 7 years ago on Google
Simplicity at its BEST! A place that is a must go whenever you are in Seria. Just order coffee and french toast with cheese and you will be satisfied. Just be warn that you will not get full just by ordering 1 french toast. Need to order a number of dishes to get full.

Gives food in 1.5hr and proceeds to blame me for not being patient, I ORDERED BREAD, BREAD! How do you even take 1.5hr to make bread, when I follow up for 3 time every 15 minutes they claim finish and will serve in 2 minutes but never came until I had to scream at one of the waiter( I am sorry but it was real too long)
