Amazing
momos!
Located
on
the
first
floor,
entrance
on
the
side
of
the
kebab
stall.
You’ll
be
welcomed
with
a
steep
high
stairs
to
go
to
the
restaurant.
Quite
spacious
and
nicely
decorated
with
red
decor
though
a
bit
outdated
and
old.
All
dishes
are
served
on
heavy
brass
plates
giving
it
an
authentic
feel.
The
waitresses
were
lovely
and
helpful.
The
menu
was
interesting
and
nothing
that
I’ve
seen
before.
Heres
what
I
recommend:
MOMOS.
When
dining
here,
try
the
momos
(dumplings).
I’ve
heard
a
lot
about
them
and
they
did
not
disappoint.
I
tried
both
the
fried,
steamed
and
marinated
momos
with
buffalo
or
chicken
filling.
The
skin
was
very
soft
and
smooth
with
a
slightly
chew.
The
filling
was
packed
and
very
juicy
filled
with
meat
and
shallots.
The
buffalo
was
aromatic
and
not
too
tough
(still
needs
more
chewing)
but
the
chicken
was
softer
and
juicier.
I
enjoyed
the
chicken
filling
more.
Will
definitely
come
back
when
I’m
craving
for
momos
specifically
the
CHOILA
MOMOS.
The
DHARANE
MOMOS
are
momos
in
a
tomato
based
soup
which
made
it
extra
moist
but
in
terms
of
flavour,
was
very
mild,
just
the
original
taste
of
the
momos
which
were
still
very
delicious.
KHASHIKO
SET.
Really
enjoyed
this
set
served
with
various
side
dishes
like
mutton
curry,
eggplant,
fried
potatoes,
pickled
vegetables,
papadam
etc.
The
mutton
curry
was
the
best,
super
flavorful
with
soft
mutton
pieces.
I
would
come
back
just
to
order
this
dish
again.
KHASHIKO
GRAVY.
Since
I
really
enjoyed
the
mutton
in
the
Kashiko
set,
I
wanted
to
try
it
alone
as
a
dish
with
rice
ordered
separately.
Mutton
was
soft
and
every
bite
packed
so
much
flavour.
CHAMRE
ALOO.
Aromatic
fried
rice
served
with
potatoes.
Super
flavorful
and
delicious.
Can
be
eaten
alone
or
with
dishes.
KAULI
ALOO.
Cauliflowers,
potatoes
and
green
peas
cooked
in
aromatic
curry.
This
is
a
dry
dish
and
best
eaten
with
bread
as
its
quite
salty
and
oily
itself
but
really
flavourful.
PURI.
Commonly
seen
in
Indian
restaurants
as
a
huge
puffed
up
ball
but
here
its
served
flat.
The
texture
is
much
chewier
like
if
glutinous
rice
flour
was
used.
Very
addictive
though
very
oily.
SAMOSA
CHAAT.
Fully
loaded
samosas
drenched
in
yogurt
sauce.
Portion
was
large
and
overall
a
very
hearty
appetizer.
TASS
SET.
An
interesting
experience
as
the
“puff
rice”
is
actually
fried
rice
which
has
a
similar
taste
and
texture
to
rice
krispies.
Its
not
very
filling
as
its
not
as
solid
as
rice.
It
was
served
with
mutton
sekuwa
which
is
a
fried
marinated
grilled
mutton.
Mutton
was
soft
and
super
flavourful.
You
can
also
order
the
mutton
sekuwa
separately.
SPICY
CHICKEN
WINGS.
Quite
flavourful
with
a
tinge
of
sweetness.
The
sauce
kind
of
reminds
me
a
bit
of
buffalo
chicken.
Overall,
a
nice
juicy
chicken.
I
also
tried
the
LASSI
which
tasted
homemade
as
it
was
thick
and
yeasty.
It
could
be
off
putting
for
some
but
I
kind
of
enjoyed
it
as
it
has
a
unique
taste.
Order
the
flavoured
lassi
like
MANGO
or
BANANA
LASSI
to
mask
the
strong
sour
taste.
Overall,
would
love
to
come
back
and
try
other
dishes
in
the
menu
and
definitely
for
more
momos!
