This Japanese restraunt has well many choices of sushi sashimi and other delicacy.

Very small restaurant located upstairs which gets really crowded during peak hours. Requires reservation to secure your seats. Staffs were friendly and service was quick. Quality is the same as in KB or Bandar.

Cosy yet classy minimalistic yet wholesome ambience this famous Japanese restaurant chain is a must visit. They have an endless variety of every Japanese dish you can think off. They have these awesome platters which is my go to that let's you sample multiple varieties of sashimi and sushi. Avaliable in multiple size so can order based on the number of people. Apart from this also loved the Teriyaki prawns and bento meals. Washed all this yummy food down with some authentic Japanese tea. Service was prompt and quick. In a busy square but you can find parking.

A Japanese restaurant with minimal decor. There are 2 tatami rooms but you must have 8 pax to use it. Sushi is not bad actually and can be busy at peak lunch time. Good value to order those group packages. There's another restaurant at Kuala Belait.

Service was atrocious. While it was 45 minutes till closing time, my friends and I were pestered by the waitress for our orders impolitely. We didn't even have time to look at the menu properly. And after the food came, they hovered around us as though with the intention to hurry us. The staff was rude, grabbing the teapot (and other items) from our table without a word and speaking to us in a terse manner. They think we are unaware but they clearly were bad-mouthing us in their own language. What disgusts me was that they treated other customers around (and even some who came in later) differently. I have to wonder if we were discriminated in whatsoever way. I don't remember anything about the food after being treated in such a manner. No doubt I will never return to this place.

Updating this review again. They've stabilised their prices and it's now fair and reasonable. Quality of the food has also improved massively. Will recommend happily for anyone to dine here. Staff are always attentive and helpful albeit very busy on weekends or payday week. Well done Kaizen. Previously: Oddly enough ever since they increased their prices, the quality has gone severely down. You pay double for half the quality. Star is for staff who are friendly and polite. Chicken was tasteless. Maki was not fresh. Soup was so so. Rice needed extra sauce. Thought we'd give it a go after so long, but I don't think we'll be going back again.

One of the best sushi experiences I've ever had. The staffs are both cheerful and attentive. The quality of the ingredients is superb, and the ambiance features a romantic sunset color palette. However, the space is somewhat limited, and it can become quite bustling as the restaurant fills up. To avoid the crowd, consider booking a private room for BND 15. Bought mango lassi few months ago and it was not even mango juice. Seems and taste like green apple lassi. Which was worst than expected. Bought 3 mango lassi yesterday and it was not as expected. Worst than expected and not even taste like juice. Seems like few water and sugar. Mango lassi at restaurant is good but when am ordering takeaway they are letting themself down with the takeaway standards. Can’t suggest to anyone for takeaway of mango lassi.

Very slow service, even though we asked them to please let us know if it would take long time they didn’t tell us and we waited an hour for our food. The food was very poor and certainly not worth the wait. The menu was covered in stickers with “not available” so very little choice. We won’t be returning

We reserve TWO VIP ROOM, and was hoping that the table arrangement are in one line instead of two. And the room was too warm. Get new units of air-conditioners. The room is not free! Service need more improvement, was too slow and also sent us food/beverages that we didn’t order. The manager/supervisor should have appointed waiters/waitresses for each zone to avoid unforeseen circumstances. For any orders as requested, example 3 sets of Salmon Maki Skin, please serve accordingly 3 means 3 dish separately. Would you serve 3 sets of Iced Peach Tea in 1 glass? -If you get what that meant. Desserts should come last after we finished eating. Whenever the individual customers are done with their meals, if you remember that they did order dessert, care to ask, “Are you ready for your dessert Sir/Mam and may I know what did you order?". If you are unsure, ask, “May I know, did you order any dessert earlier ?" Finanally, my suggestion, FOC for two vip rooms with purchase over $200 or maybe $250 and above. -we spent $490 for 2 Senior Citizens, 11 Adults, 5 Children’s (age 3~9), 2 Toddler (age 1).

The food was delicious but somehow for people who likes to "attend" on their gadgets and "crave" for internet, there is a certain part of the restaurant where you hardly get an internet connection. However, if that is not of your concern, you shouldn't be bother about that.

Probably the best Japanese restaurant in Brunei and Miri, Sarawak. A staggering array of sushi and Japanese dishes. I enjoyed the tofu steak, tori karaage, and soba as well. The avocado milkshake was also quite satisfying.
