Nani's tiffins is the best place to have dosa. The dosa varieties are quite a lot. I had Paneer cheese dosa and Butter paneer dosa. Both tasted very good, I would love to taste other varieties of dosas also as everyone was ordering different varieties. They have 2 centers one is for dosa and another center is for idly, Wada, Mysore bhajji, etc... This place has a huge fan base for their dosa varieties. If you want to have dosa this is the best place and their items are decently priced. Just go for food and do not expect service, hygiene, and seating you will be disappointed. The place is overcrowded and the waiting time is very high.

Breakfast is really good and reasonable here. I thought it could be hyped but taste is good. Dosas are really good and tawa bonda and tawa idli is famous here. Really peaceful environment in the morning. Recommended to go early morning six o clock so you can enjoy in peace. Lots of people come especially on weekends post 7am.

Food is awesome. Lots of varieties to taste. And the open area on the tank band shore to sit and eat makes it more interesting and appealing for the customers. Especially the weekend mornings are quite interesting with a lot of rush and multiple tiffin counters opened to meet the heavy demand. Worth visiting for sure. Give it a try..!

Food was absolutely delicious. Service takes a long time! And the atmosphere needs a lot of improvement. It's a huge place, and they could do well to arrange better seating arrangement. It's not structured at all!! The stray dogs need to go. They earn so much, they can easily afford a shelter home for the canines friends! Parking space needs to be levelled and made into a hard surface. It's difficult to park in rainy season.

One of the best dosa places in the city I would say, the place is so huge and very crowded. The special tawa bonda was outstanding and the same goes with ghee sambar idly. The Schezwan cream cheese dosa and pizza dosa were fabulous as well. I had a great experience dining in here.

Dissatisfied!! The restaurant appears to lack authenticity in its preparation of traditional South Indian dishes such as idly, sambhar, and dosa. Even the inclusion of onions seems to deviate from the expected flavors. They put pickled onions on Onion Dosa. I have seen that the Ghee's taste is altered. Who puts Cinnamon in Sambhar? What kind of Sambhar is that? There are some places where people visit the restaurant for the sake of Sambhar. How can they go wrong in cooking simple things. The concern arises from the noticeable presence of cheese and butter on every dish, giving it a characteristic more aligned with North Indian culinary preferences. This departure from the traditional South Indian tiffin style raises questions about the establishment's commitment to preserving the regional authenticity of its offerings. The essence of idly, sambhar, and dosa lies in the purity of flavors and simplicity, yet the incorporation of cheese and butter appears to be an attempt to cater to a different palate. This adaptation might appeal to those accustomed to the richer and heavier tastes prevalent in North Indian cuisine, but it risks diluting the unique essence of South Indian flavors. Striking a balance between innovation and tradition is crucial in maintaining the integrity of regional culinary experiences, and it seems the restaurant may need to reconsider its approach to uphold the authenticity of its South Indian offerings. The sitting area is open and i have seen birds on the trees. I had the fear that those might 'you know' while we eat. There is ample space for parking.

One of the best dosa place in the town. The food tasted fresh and tasty. Quality of the food is also good. Value for money is the best. A good place with ample place for parking and fast service.

When we tried last time some 5 years ago it was on a cart on road side. Now it's like a drive in place. Taste wise they are maintaining same from past. Signature dish is their masala idly and bonda amazing it will be. Soaked with butter and cheese. They mix with onion chillies and sauce it was so yummy. If you are diet conscious or health conscious this is not the place to try. They put butter and cheese on everything. It's over crowded. They have place for car parking bike parking and all. They have made different places for different dishes like idly and bonda in one place, dosas are in multiple places and tea in a different stall. They have huge seating area. Kind of overpriced also. We tried cheese paneer dosa, bonda and idly dipped with sambar it was good and one time try.

Charming breakfast spot with a picturesque lake view. Must Try - 1. Butter Dosa 2. Butter Masala Dosa 3. Tawa Mysore Bajji Parking was a breeze with ample space. They have token system. Upon entry, tokens are available next to the mocktail shop on the left. The self-service aspect was convenient.

It's located on necklace road close to ranigunj. 4 stars because there isn't adequate seating. Food is drool-worthy. I had the butter cream dosa and it was perfectly cooked and topped with Amul butter and fresh cream. The prices are bit on the higher side considering the quantity served, nevertheless it's very famous for what it serves. Would recommend this any morning if you're in close vicinity. There is more than enough parking for cars and bikes. Seating could be an issue so keep that in mind. Staff is very courteous and not ignorant. Happy with the food and service. We waited for around 10 minutes for our food to be served, it was pretty crowded so yes they are well-equipped and capable to deal with a lot of customers at a time. This place was in my bucket list for a long time and I'm satisfied with the experience. 😊

I didn't even know that this place exist. It was my first time as my friend took me there for breakfast. I found the menu was extensive and quite common varieties like cheese dosa, pizza dosa etc. But to my surprise it was good. The place is located at the end of the necklace road stretch a bit inside and is not well seen. It's very spacious, has counter system, many varieties of dosa on menu card. I had pizza and cheese cream dosa, tawa bonda, tawa wada and idly. They give mint chutney along with it. It's quite sufficient for a single person. As the area is spacious, all the vehicles are allowed and it has decent seating arrangement as well. On the whole, go out on a weekend drive and enjoy your breakfast here. Overall experience - Food - 3.5 Parking - 5 Prices - 4 Disclaimer - "Get ready for some overloaded cheese, cream, butter and ghee" you'll find these in abundance 🥴

Ordered Ghee sambar idly, Mysore bhaji, Butter masala dosa, butter cream cheese dosa and butter paneer garlic masala dosa. The idly and dosa were exceptional. Especially the cream cheese dosa. All of this for ₹400 !! Ample car parking too! Must try tiffin centre when in Hyderabad.

The food is okay, but the ambience of the place is bad at night. Full of mosquitos, you can't even eat peacefully. They take a lot of time to give the order, unless it is something that's readily available.

I tried Dosas here, they are tasty and unique for sure but the prices are a bit on the higher side. The masala cream Dosa costs 80 bucks here, it was really good but the Dosa was small ☹. It's better if they increase the quantity, because the prices can't be reduced as they are already famous.

Sambar a mazaka! That could be the tag line of this Tiffins centre. My wife's fear of me not able to take in the spice was completely unfounded. Set in a quite spacious, uneven ground with ample parking space, this is definitely not one for fine-dining. As you park and come along you can find some splotches of water here and there as you get to order. So we ordered the idly (making the mistake of not taking it in the bowl) along with generous portion of sambar, schezwan cheese masala dosa, butter masala dosa, tawa bonda. They proudly advertise they only use Amul brand of butter but may have forgotten to add, half box of butter per dosa. My goodness their kitchen is quite a site to look at as the dosa preparation gets along. About 20 odd dosas on this huge rectangular slab getting cooked simultaneously with the guy making adjustments to each as per the order. If you had the notion that the 'masala' part of dosa is the aloo curry, it ain't. It's just some masala. Though I ordered Butter Masala Dosa, having one taste of Schezwan one floored me completely. My brother in law was gracious enough to exchange the whole dish. Coming to the idly and the SAMBAR, oh god! No words to describe this delectable dish. It has that distinctive masala taste to it with just the right amount of spice, sour and chilli that you can just keep drinking. Chutneys accomponied is just a formality. I would strongly advice anyone to just go with the sambar soaked idly variety. Overall had nice time and lovely food. Definitely one to try again before I leave.

Pros- Extra variety of dosas available with unique flavor. We ordered all famous dosas available but we couldn’t enjoy their most famous pizza dosa! But paneer dosa was good. Their idly is unique too intermarriage of sambar that’s very spicy. All these are served in a lake ambiance which is out of the box for city people who are used to road side dosa carts. Can comfortable enjoy the vibes of hussainsagar lake along with some tasty dosas. Cons- can improve the clean less of the place as it’s lake side and garbage and smell can be found.

I was planning to visit this place since a long time. when I tried thier food I understood that it really worth the hype. They serve all varieties of dosas and idlys. I treid butter paneer cheese dosa, it was soo yummy. they also serve tandoori chai. The place is heavily crowded most of the time. The parking space can accommodate 15 to 20 cars and lot of bikes. You will also get a lake view while having your breakfast. They could have renovated it into a better space with an organised billing and delivery system and better seating. But when it comes to food I would say they are not compromising on quality and quantity.

BEST place for dosa!! But wouldn't recommend to go here other than breakfast and dinner time. Reason is that the people who usually make dosa isn't available at other times other than breakfast and dinner time. I've been here once in lunch time and couldn't believe how terrible that dosa was😵

This place is overhyped as expected No proper customer service by staff I had ordered a butter masala dosa which he took 2 rounds to even consider that i have given him the token. Around 20 minutes has passed than he began to process my dosa. The dosa guy made it like a masala papad instead of a DOSA. If you're looking for some modified dosas(Pizza, Schezwan,Paneer,Cheese, etc) which isn't a dosa then this is your place. Other than this the food quality is maintained and I appreciate that.

Food is good , chutney is tasty . Although they don't sell masala dosa even it's in their menu , they asked me to buy butter masala dosa instead, not sure why. They can improve the hygiene and ambience, it's a beautiful place to have breakfast and it's close to Hussain sagar .

Visiting from US - and my nephew said we had to try the pizza dosa at Nani's - food is amazing, def a hangout for youngsters - go for the food. As far as ambience, if you are expecting indoors, great lighting and a place free of typical desi 'wildlife' not for you. Tasty desi dishes with a spin in humble surroundings, try it out!!

I ordered a Tawa Mysore bonda with panner and cream , the price was 100/- and one normal Mysore bonda which was 40/-. The tawa Mysore bajji was good, but the Mysore bond wasn't hot at all. With that price I would have gotten hot Mysore bonda in any of the stall outside.. I think the place would have been nice if the flooring was good.

The sambar here is unique, dosas are pretty good and the ghee kharam idly too. It’s a hurdle to get the food from Nani’s tiffin on weekends, the waiting time would exhaust the patient sole in you.

Famous tiffin center in Secunderabad area. Dosa was tasty. They have chai/tea counter who serves tea for 20/- but quantity is very less. Location is good, you will get Hussain Sagar view while eating. Smell from Hussain sagar is complementary.:) Service be improved. Last and important point if you are hygiene freak then this place is not for you.

Best Cheese South Indian Dosa with Lake Side View. It is most preferable to go in morning. Tawa Idli is also good and must visit for dosa lovers.

  • 5/5 Kapil P. 1 year ago on Google
This is not an authentic south indian food place. But they serve very good fusion south indian dishes. Good experience. But the biggest problem is the place is super crowded even at post breakfast time. One has to wait a lot for the order. They should make a little better sitting arrangement. Rest the food was really tasty 😋
