I have been here 7-8 years ago.. I can not remember the taste. After few days eat "nasi campur Bali", I miss to eat bakso and remember about this place - Bakwan Surabaya located in Jl Teuku Umar Denpasar. We ordered two bakwan campur and one bakwan goreng. Mmmm... I do not like the soup taste - as I am quite sensitive on MSG. The taste of MSG is very strong - so I decide to eat the ingredients (bakso, bakwan, noodle) without its soup 😓 Uh uh I put 3 star on the review, as I believe they can improve it easily. if they want to. Positive : And the place is clean. By the way I will not come back. Sorry 🙏

Still my second favorite local place to eat. It has not changed one bit in the past decade other than offering 3 actual parking spaces in front. The shrimp bakso in all their variations are fantastic. 3 spoons of chili, one spoon of red sauce and some ketchup manis and you’ve got the perfect lunch.

Parking: Limited around 3-4 cars so better to use motorcycle Area: Not to big, i usually avoid lunch time to get a seat. Sometimes there's a DVD seller. Taste: Loved the clear soup, mix well with fried or steam meatballs, tofu Price: My order include iced tea cost 29k So im guessing each piece cost 2-3k

Best bakwan in the town ... Great taste and flavor, you'll never regret with this meat ball. Price not so expensive, but its worth with the taste. The fried bakwan more delicious than a steam combine with great soup, mix with sambal and ketchup. The staff friendly and charm , but the owner as cashier not so friendly. The park area for a car only fit for max 5 small car and for motorbike there have a special park area beside the building. Toilet ? Not so clean but still usefull. And last but not least ! You should come here for lunch until maximum 6pm ...

Very good. It is only IDR 20k and you can choose 8 different bakwan. Come as early as possible because it always sold out. There is limited parking spot especially for car. The dining area is also limited. But the food is very good.

I don’t really expect a lot, but oh my, no wonder this place is always busy, I hope the food was more affordable, but that’s okay, I guess you got what you paid, clear, clean and super savoury broth with fried meatballs and dumplings, limited parking and open eating space a lot of dust coming in, typical pf Indonesian eatery
