Kala Surf Camp is amazing, I wish I would of made this my first stop of Uluwatu because they had everything I wanted and more! Frank the manager is quick to take care of any accommodations you may need at the resort 10/10 service. The resort itself is very clean and has an amazing pool. Scooter rental is steps away along with a lot of great food. You will also meet Christiana who is like the concierge of the camp. She made the visit so much more enjoyable by showing me where to surf at what times, where to eat, and where to go out and have fun. She made my experience so fun. Lastly when you check in you will be added to the camps group chat which makes it really easy to meet people and adds a community feel. Weather you are a surfer or in Uluwatu to explore, you gotta stay at Kala!

Where should I start? I felt at home from the first minute I arrived. The room is very spacious and the bed is made every single day. The staff is the friendliest you'll ever meet. The reception staff was super helpful and friendly. The surf coaches are amazing, give you great feedback and take you to their favourite spots. The location is outstanding, you can walk to the cliffs in 5 minutes (name another place that is that central in Uluwatu?!). I planned to stay for 2 days and stayed for 3 weeks. I never wanted to leave and saying goodbye was so hard. I definitely felt like I belonged to the Kala family (and I am so sure I will return!). My biggest thanks go out to Lisa and Frank and to all the surf coaches, Rizky and the whole team! Miss you guys and see you soon.

I would without a doubt recommend you to stay at Kala Surf Camp if you’re looking to meet lots of new people, learn how to surf and improve your surf skills! I really got a feeling of family while I was there and the staff was super helpful and nice - I got a warm welcome as soon as I arrived! The surftrips were always the best part of my day as the surfguides knew all the best surfspots and they were super encouraging and helpful - they really helped me improve my surf skills a lot! The social events were super nice aswell - especially the Sunset Jam and Family BBQ night! It was such a nice vibe and the surfguides were always playing guitar and everybody was singing along. I will for sure come back to Kala and I would definitely advise you to check it out regardless of your surf level!

Kala Surf camp has a great energy and vibe, currently has constructions happening around the site, but didn't bother or affected our stay. Staff is wonderful, it's just the right size to meet people and hang out. They organise nights out together/movie nights etc. so people can meet and bond. We loved it even though we don't even surf.

I liked it very, very much! I traveled alone and actually only wanted to stay for a few days but ended up staying for almost a month. I can only recommend it to anyone! The people are really warm, nice and kind and the surf lessons really improved my surfing skills. You feel like you're part of a small family. <3 And the activities they offer were a lot of fun too :) I'm already looking forward to coming back!!

I was supposed to stay at Kala Surf Camp for 1 week originally but ended up extending for one more week because I just loved the vibe there! I had never surfed when I came to the Camp and was a bit scared to try it - but the surfguides were super helpful and made me feel safe so now I think surfing is so much fun! I also loved the events planned by the Camp - always felt like a big family gathering

Kala Surf Camp is fantastic! The accommodating owners and skilled surf instructors made my stay memorable. Comfortable accommodation, delicious food, and a perfect beachside location create an ideal spot for surf enthusiasts. The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Can't wait to return!
