    Need a strong mind and sturdy feet to reach this temple. Most people hike from Petang area, but if you want more natural and challenging one, you can reach it from Bedugul (Danau Beratan) area. This track is good for hiking. It's take at least 4 hours to reach it.

    There are some tracks to go up here, you may go from the south side of Beratan Lake, from the east side of the mountain at Plaga, or from the north side from Mt Pengelengan. Everything is as usual Bali vibe temple at the top of a mountain, but you have to be aware of the monkeys, as they will take your food by force if you are not being sharp.

    Mt. Catur or known as pucak mangu temple The trekking to go there is quite easy for the beginner.. the pathway already cement and lots of big trees 🌲, just be careful on the top.. there lots of naughty monkey 🐒

    I went up from Bedugal area. Hike is 4.2kms from the trail head one way. Allow at least one hour to reach the top. Last km is very steep around 40% so keep some energy for that. If you stop for a short break on the top can be up and down in 90 minutes.

    Not easy way to go there, but you will be rewarded. Need appropriate shoes like Vibram to be safe.

    It's such a joy to go high up the mountains in Bali. The higher you go, the purer and cooler the air. This temple is almost at the end of the road and it has a very peaceful atmosphere. It is guarded by some fierce looking but very friendly temple dogs. A ceremony with attendants travelling from afar was taking place, adding to a great experience.

    Mount Catur is a mountain with a height of 2096 meters above sea level, where this mountain is popular to climb because of the good view and at the top there is a temple, namely Mangu Peak, along with other animals.

    Mount Catur has a very beautiful view, at the top of Mount Catur there is the Mangu Peak Temple, the air is still cool and fresh.
