This is my heaven on earth Trust and Phil have quickly become family to me and the staff even more so. I will never stay anywhere else in Ubud. It is set in the centre of the jungle and a walk through the rice paddies brings you to your castle of absolute peace and serenity.

The location is superb with a short walk to the centre of the Ubud and shopping district. Each room is a work of art……beautiful, private with a spacious layout & deck to relax on. The Villa has an infinity pool and entertainment area suited for relaxing with large day beds to chill on. There is a treatment room, the staff can organise for in house treatments so there is no need to head out to be pampered. Wayan and her staff are an absolute credit to VTS nothing was a problem and they are extremely well spoken, attentive and kind. I cannot speak highly enough of the Villa and its staff.

Such a tranquil place with incredibly kind and accommodating staff! The breakfast is fresh, varied and healthy and the infinity pool is clean and refreshing, especially because you can hear the river below and are looking out over the jungle.

Really beautiful property located just north of the main shopping areas of Ubud. Very quiet location and set among the rice fields. The staff is really lovely and the breakfasts are the perfect way to get the day started. I stayed in the Batur room and I found it very clean and comfortable.

I stayed 6 nights in this Villa and I enjoyed it very much! I like the scene of the room. Guests will like this hidden location if they prefer close to nature and away from the crowds. The staffs are friendly, responsive and willing to provide help and suggestions. Essential amenities are available in the villa. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. There are two cats in the Villa area and they are so friendly to people. I am sure guests will love them a lot when they see them!

Amazing luxury Villa, beautiful surroundings, rooms are very spacious with separate stunning bathroom and storage/wardrobes. Sleeping in the comfortable beds with the mosquito nets makes you feel like a princess. Staff are so kind and generous with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. Loved staying here and would highly recommend.

The Villa is a paradise… immaculate, thoughtfully designed rooms, peaceful shared areas, gorgeous staff who go over and above for guests…. I highly recommend Tanah Shanti as a tranquil place to rest in between seeing the spectacular sights of Ubud.

I have had the pleasure of attending a yoga retreat at Villa Tanah Shanti. It is such a beautiful, quiet and relaxing venue to stay, whether it’s for a retreat or an amazing place just to get away!! The whole villa is very private with its natural surrounds, staying in the middle of nature. All the rooms are gorgeous with everything you need! Highly recommend! Vicki

I’ve just attended a yoga retreat here! I cannot rate it more highly from the quality of the rooms, the food, the staff are absolutely gorgeous and its locality being so close to central Ubud! I had the absolute privilege of attending a glorious retreat here. Have never felt so relaxed and pampered in my life. The stunningly beautiful surrounds of rainforest & rice fields give such peace and tranquillity. Meals were sublime & so enjoyable as you look across the spectacular pool area. Just divine!

July 2017. Have had one week at Villa Tanah Shanti with Trish Peacock for a return Yoga Retreat. Again it was the best experience with 12 beautiful caring and sharing ladies. The accommodation and food is amazing and Wayan and her staff took great care of all of our needs. The Spa ladies, Jero and Ilu, we all loved your work. Trish you are the Best. What a fulfilling week, still feeling the love.

In a word "Paradise". My first trip to Bali and I had the privilege of staying with a great group of people at Villa Tanah Shanti . The location is superb with a quick walk to the centre of the Ubud cultural and shopping district. The rooms “OMG” are a work of art……truly beautiful, private and well adorned with a spacious layout. When you are not out exploring, the Villa has one of the most amazing pools and entertainment areas suited for relaxing with large day beds and full kitchen amenities. The most important point to myself when I travel is the staff and how you are treated as a guest, I would like to say that Wayan and the staff are the jewel in the crown for the Villa from organising taxis/transport, cultural shows and local sightseeing interests nothing was a problem and they are extremely well spoken, attentive and kind. I cannot speak highly enough of the Villa and its staff. I will be back to stay at the Villa….I am looking at return flights in 3 months already. I loved it

Absolutely has to be my favourite place to stay in Bali. It makes me feel like I am in heaven! Super clean, immaculate views of the jungle, the staff are so helpful and lovely and can literally help with anything you need. Will definitely be back for my yearly stay at this villa.
