A recently constructed place of worship in Aizawl, Mizoram which also happens to be one of the most iconic buildings in the state. With twelve main doors opening to a hall with a capacity of upto 2000 people, it is surrounded by a nature park on all sides. Solomon's temple is a symbol of love for the Jesus of Nazareth. The temple is also used for holding Church on Sunday, Midnight Heralds as well as Blood Donation Camps and such by the youth organizations of Church. Ever since it's inauguration since 2017, it remains one of the best tourist hotspots in the state of Mizoram. Must visit!

An architectural marvel with serene surroundings and a gorgeous garden. It is the most recently built church in Aizawl. Prayer is held here around once a month. The guide here is very cordial & helpful, and patiently explains its history. A MUST SEE if you’re in Aizawl. Located about 10 km away from the main city, but worth a visit .

Many things to remember before visiting the church. It's closes on 4pm daily and on Sunday it's full day closed. Otherwise a must place to visit. Very beautiful. Just opposite to the church there is a parking zone from there you can have the entire view of the city it's very good . Feels very peaceful just being in the church . You will have a great time visiting here

Architectural beauty in Mizoram. The beauty of the nature which we could see from the church is one of the exquisite scenery in life. Very calm and quiet place with green nature all around you. It’s really a huge church and one of the biggest in Mizoram itself.

Its a really beautiful place. Its decorated with so many extravagant things and seems like a new world altogether. Nice place to get some photography done and bring your kids too. The temple is huge and really mesmerizing. It's really difficult to explain the beauty in words, especially during the festive season when there is so much decoration. If you are in Aizawl it should be in your visit list.

According to Google Bard, Hindus are not allowed to enter the Solomon's Temple in Aizawl. The temple is a Christian shrine, and it is only open to Christians. Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple because it is considered sacrilege to enter a place of worship that is not of your own faith. The Solomon's Temple is a large, white building that is located in the center of Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. It was built in 1908 by the American Baptist Mission, and it is one of the most important Christian shrines in Mizoram. The temple is dedicated to King Solomon, who is considered to be a wise and just ruler in the Bible. The temple is open to visitors from all faiths, but only Christians are allowed to enter the main sanctuary. Hindus are allowed to visit the temple grounds and to see the exterior of the building, but they are not allowed to enter the main sanctuary. This is because the temple is considered to be a sacred place for Christians, and it is important to respect their beliefs. If you are a Hindu and you are visiting Aizawl, you can still visit the Solomon's Temple grounds and see the exterior of the building. You can also learn about the history of the temple and its significance to Christians. However, you should not attempt to enter the main sanctuary, as this would be considered sacrilege.

I recently visited Solomon Temple located in Chawlhhmun, Aizawl and I must say it was a delightful experience. The temple is beautifully built and has a serene atmosphere that exudes peace and calmness. One thing that caught my attention was the well-maintained flower garden surrounding the temple. It added to the beauty of the place and gave a refreshing vibe. The temple also has two water coolers that were functioning efficiently, providing cool water to the visitors. The parking area outside the gate is spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for visitors to park their vehicles without any hassle. The visiting hour of the temple is from 10am to 4pm and it remains closed on Sundays. The temple was established in 1996 and has been maintained very well over the years. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Solomon Temple if you are in Aizawl. It is a perfect place to find peace and connect with your inner self.

At present Solomon Temple is closed . The gates are locked and closed board is hanging. So was the Roman Catholic cathedral in Kohima. I was highly disappointed and was hanging around. Then I saw a man opened the gate to go inside. When enquired he told he is tiles fixing person. I entered with him and went around. No one was there except those 4 labour's. Highly impressed with the biggest church in Aizwal . It was started in 1996 and opened to public in 2017 . Has capacity to sit 2000 persons at a time . Beautiful surroundings and very well kept . One feels tranquillity just sitting outside. A must visit place in Aizwal

Huge place with extravagant architecture. But nothing recreational. Irony is that it's neither a temple nor a church.

One of the best places in Aizawl. The dazzling construction of Solomon's Temple is, in no doubt, an emblem of peace and admiration. Neat and clean, well maintained, varieties of flowers are all ready to welcome the visitors. The person in charge was so humble and modest that my visit in July 2019 made it a memorable piece during my Aizawl days. It is also the heaven for Photographers. Different angles with scenic beauties would make them feel never tired of taking photos. I left the place with a calm of mind and a token of peace in my heart and reached home at Malda, West Bengal with celestial reflections later on.

I visited Solomon's Temple in Aizawl last week and I was amazed by its beauty and grandeur. The temple is built on a hilltop and offers a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding hills. The architecture is inspired by the biblical Solomon's Temple and features a large hall, a sanctuary, and a courtyard. The temple is open to people of all faiths and backgrounds, and there is a peaceful atmosphere inside. The temple also has a museum, a library, and a cafeteria where you can learn more about the temple and its culture. I spent a few hours there and felt very refreshed. I highly recommend visiting Solomon's Temple if you are in Aizawl. It is a unique and memorable experience that you won't regret.

Solomon's Temple stands as one of the top attractions in Aizawl. Notably, there are no entry fees, making it accessible to all. This temple holds a rich blend of historical and religious importance, making it a must-visit site.

The Temple of Solomon, also known as Solomon's Temple or the First Temple, holds a revered place in religious and historical narratives. According to biblical accounts, King Solomon commissioned the construction of this magnificent temple in the 10th century BCE in Jerusalem. While there is no direct physical evidence of its existence, biblical descriptions provide a vivid portrayal. The temple was an architectural marvel, renowned for its grandeur and symbolic significance. It was constructed on Mount Moriah, the same location where Abraham is said to have offered his son Isaac. The building was characterized by its intricate design and lavish use of materials.

A big board "CLOSED" was hanging on the main gate on 28/3/22. Viewed it from gate only. Looks nice but bad experience form tourist point of view. If tourists are not permitted to visit it, that should be mentioned on site.

I love love this place. Its a must go for all foreigners. It is really clean, the flowers are beautiful and the decorations. It is the second Solomons Temple in the whole world. So, why not visit huh?? You can snap a lot of pictures there, everywhere is a pictorial site. Not to forget the gatekeeper is very polite and is fluent in Hindi&English. You can talk to him and ask lot of questions even in Hindi. He's a very generate person.

The point of google map is out of position a little. You should check a signboard on the way to the temple carefully. As of now(18, Feb, 2022) due to covid-19, it’s closed.
