Definitely recommended! Some useful tips for our fellow hikers; We parked our car at Cafe de Bica. The trail took us 2 hours in total. (Percurso PMS 4) From here it's an easy walk to the waterfall of Fórnea. After this point the trail is a but more challenging to go all the way up to Cova da Velha. But it's definitely worth it! And even our 6 year old son managed! Enjoy your walk!

Great place to hike, about 3 km each way. Best to go during winter or early spring to see the water flowing, but good all year round. It has a small cavern and a nice view if you continue up to the top.

Nice hidden surprise, not very hard to reach (quick easy hike). Take your time. Hike to the highest top and explore/"surf" the rock "barrels" presented there...

A very beautiful area for a walk. Leave the city for once and enjoy some nature. Nature heals your soul, while the city kills your health! There are awesome hiking trails. Get some cooked bacon and water with you and spend the day walking the area. Your welcome!

A quick little hike (only 300m) from the road to a nice lookout over the valley. If you are looking for the waterfall though, you need to hike from the other side.
