The best restaurants we’ve been to on our Italian road trip! Can I give more than 5 stars?? Service was impeccable, knowledgeable and fun servers. Food was incredible! The best lasagna I’ve ev ever had! And do you see the amount of the truffle on that steak?!? Also egg, polenta and sausage appetizer was surprising and super delicious! I usually don’t eat desserts but that wine soaked pear caught my attention and I’m glad I tried it! We will go back here on our next visit to Siena for sure! Also we didn’t have a reservation (please make it in advance) beautiful host (unfortunately I forgot her name) told us to come back at certain time in case there were any cancellations, and we did get a table after all! Amazing service!!

Beautiful interior and sophisticated atmosphere - a nice place for a classy evening. The service was fantastic. The staff spoke English well and helped us make an reservation over the phone. The tripe ravioli was one of the most memorable and delicious dishes I’ve had in Italy. Come here if you’re looking for traditional Tuscany food in a more upscale setting.

Very nice restaurant, looks authentic. Very friendly and professional service, delicious food, medium to high prices but it worth every penny. I had a boar in the oven and it was AMAZING. Advice: make a reservation first.

Wonderful place! Took us in 5 minutes before closing for the afternoon and it was an amazing experience, a private service! The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious, probably one of the best steaks ever! If you are planning to visit Siena, make this place one of your stops, you will not regret it!

Food is so good with the famous menu of Homemade chocolate pasta wild boar. Chianti wine is great. More than those stuffs, you had been taken care of well with the owners and staff. We were very impressed by this lunch.

This was the best meal we had during our Italy trip. The owner was so nice to squeeze us in without a reservation. And it was the most special night. Someone at another table had a birthday and they went all out turning the lights down and singing. It was fantastic. Food wise, I loved my duck and potatoes and the dessert sampling-- wow! Such beautiful plating and delicious fresh ingredients but above that the staff is so exceptionally kind and efficient. We loved loved loved it!

We had an excellent lunch. The best food we eat in Siena. All 4 pasta dishes were amazing. The lasagna and the wild boar ragu with porcini mushrooms were mouthwatering. All deserts were good, but the standout was the chocolate cheesecake...just wow. The staff was very friendly. It is advised to book beforehand to ensure a table. Definitely not to be missed.

We came here on a recommendation from friends. The food was half and half I had the lasagna which I enjoyed but my wife got the risotto and was not as good. The traditional antipasti was good as you can see in the picture some wonderful prosciutto.

10/10!!! We went for dinner and then lunch the next day. The food is some of the best in Italy & definitely the best in Siena. The lasagna is the best we have ever eaten. They have a brilliant wine selection for every price range. The service was fantastic. Can’t wait to be back when we are next in Siena

Love this restaurant! They serve the best tiramisu and I’m not even a dessert person. Exceptional food and service. Super dog-friendly too. My dog was given water and a blanket. I would definitely come back again.

Amazing ambiance, food, and service. Really worth it. Make reservations in advance. The wild boar and porcini pasta was amazing. They have gluten free pasta and few appetizer and entree options. Great wine list with reasonable prices as well. Wine cellar/grotto is worth taking a look.

Below expectations but decent in any case. Food is authentic, well prepared and very well served. The ambiance is really nice. Small but excellent choices of wines by the glass and interesting wine list. A truly classic Siena address.

If you're looking for a more casual place for dinner but incredible quality- this is the place. Every single dish amazed me. I loved their potato/cheese starter. Their mains - delicious. You really can't go wrong on anything from this menu! One thing I wished I tried was their tiramisu. Make sure at the end to ask if you can visit the wine cellar!

Our favorite meal in Siena! ! My husband And I had made a reservation here and enjoyed every minute of it. Our server, Luca, was wonderful. He had excellent wine recommendations and really took care of us. The food was delicious. We had truffled pasta and Brunello braised beef. The tiramisu was delectable. We will make sure we return here!

Best restaurant I experienced on my trip to Italy. Out of this boar pasta, with such rich flavors that hit you with the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Their truffle steak was another delightful meal that was cooked just perfect. Lastly, their Tiramisu, with hazelnut, had the perfect balance of sweet and textures that you don't want it to end. If you visit Sienna, this is the spot to have a wonderful lunch or dinner.

One of our favorite restaurants and meals we've ever experienced -- thank you! Food (5 of 5) -- quail eggs on sausage with truffles, pecorino cheese soufflé, risotto, wild boar, beef stew, tiramisu and the dessert sampler were all outstanding. Service (5) -- from start to finish the service was outstanding in all respects. Atmosphere (5) -- unique and wonderful. One of the best meals we have ever had anywhere. Congratulations to all the outstanding people involved in making our evening a magical one.

UNBELIEVABLE gem!!! I’d rate higher than 5 stars if I could. We were so lucky to call just as a reservation fell through, because I think this place is going to be the highlight of our whole Italy trip!! We were shocked when we saw the Michelin star awards because the menu was affordable and the portions size were filling! The food and wine was, of course, AMAZING (everything was stupendous but what blew me away most was the cheese soufflé with pear. Videos show the table reacting to the lasagna which the waiter recommended as the option we’d “never forget”), and the atmosphere was warm and rustically inviting, but what blew us away even more were the employees. The wait staff were warm, witty, good-humored, attentive, and utterly delightful. We stayed for dessert (which is very out of the norm for us, usually we find somewhere else or just end with dinner), because we were having such a nice time! Even when we had a spill, they jumped to action quickly and efficiently with gentle ribbing and jokes to ease the tension and make us feel comfortable again. We got so lucky! If you are able to get a table RESERVE It!!!!!

The restaurant is well worth its top reputation! Service is exceptional. The waiters are very knowledgeable and are happy to help. The food is to die for and reasonably priced. The homemade lasagne really is very very tasty. My regret is ordering too much as I couldn’t finish my beef stew. Very interesting and yummy take on the local tiramisu. They also provided us with a gift of house red wine which just perfected the evening.

I was excited to go here and luckily the food experience met our expectations. Service was professional and friendly. Complimentary amuse (potato & zucchini soup) was very nice. A must try is the pecorino & pear soufflé…. so fluffy with amazing sauce. If you can’t take a whole kilo Florentine steak, try out the stew which was very good.

It was so good we ate here for dinner and lunch the next day! We loved the gnocchi, ossobuco, Pici and just everything was good. Lovely staff and service too! Must visit.

Amazing food! Very helpful and friendly stuff, great ambiance and decoration. Downside is small portions, prices are medium to high and there is a mandatory 10% service - but it all worth it, great experience!

Considering the reviews and challenge to secure a reservation, we went into the meal with very high expectations thinking we were about to have the meal of a lifetime. The food was good, but there was nothing about it that was anything special so we were a bit let down. I did really like the berry compote/jam which was a part of the meat and the dessert courses. A good home cook could replicate this level of quality easily. Again the food was not bad at all, but in my opinion this place has earned an over-hyped reputation, if I had gone in expecting just another solid Italian meal I would have left happily satisfied.

This is a must-visit restaurant on a trip to Siena! Their pasta is the best I have ever eaten, it makes a mouth climax! The environment of the restaurant is very distinctive, and the handsome host also enthusiastically took a photo, super happy!❤️

Wow - delicious! Immediately in my top 5 favorite restaurants worldwide. The food is full of flavor, incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is magical. The cheese and wine cellar is an original Siena house dating 300BC. The wild boar pasta for the starter was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. The ossobuco and wild boar mains were amazing, as was the potato soufflé. Very helpful staff provided great menu recommendations, and friendly and quick service.

Outstanding food paradise! Must visit if you are in Siena. Great service and reasonable prices for Michelin experience!

We were very disappointed, expectations were high after reading the Michelin recommendation. But it turned out to be a 'tourist trap' with the food being bland without any refinement. Tasteless white bread, bruschetta very simple with mozarella like plastic. Pasta was just spaghetti, nothing else (the added truffle was good). Grilled vegetables was back to seventies, overcooked and dull. Service was excellent, staff friendly and fast. Winelist also very good. We did not have to pay for the pasta and vegetables, very kind. Restaurant is good enough when you don't expect high quality food and go for atmosphere.

By far the best meal I had in Siena. We started with melted burrata with truffles, it was served warm and we literally didn’t want it to finish. Pappardale ragu was also divine for non pork eaters. In the end we asked for cantucci and it was served with sweet wine, the waiter suggested to dip biscuits in wine and then have a bite, it was an explosion of flavours in mouth :)
