Best place for breakfast we could find in Florence. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and great selection of delicious Panini! Would totally recommend! We paid 3,50€ for a Panini and 3€ for a Cappuccino.

Disappointed to hand in a 20 Euro bill and not get any change for 2 drinks of 8 Euro each. I waited and asked for the change, they saw me I signalled to them for the change but they didn’t bring it. Maybe it was because I was a woman travelling alone. It’s my decision if you get a 4 Euro tip. Not yours! A real shame as the cocktails were lovely and so was the food. But I don’t like being ripped off so I won’t return

Friendly service but the cappuccino I ordered was really just a coffee with milk and the avocado not fresh. The toasted croissant however was tasty

We had a wonderful time in Firenze and went to Caffe San Carlo more than once. The owner of the little Caffe is really friendly, and the whole crew is taking care of the customers in a proficient and friendly way. To note is, that the whole team is really child-friendly and it was easy to get around with our two little once. The food was delicious and as well the offered lunches as the Sandwiches could only be recommended. Thank you for the nice time and experience we had at your place.

they charge me $11 for a smoothie because I asked for fresh orange juice instead of non fresh. The food was not very good and the service is horrible. I would not recommend this place. There are so many places to eat in Florence what is better service and Food don't waste your time.

As I used to live on this street I have been coming here for years. Recently I discovered it has a new owner & received a small "face lift" - it definitely modernized a bit! The atmosphere is so chic, light, and welcoming. The staff always welcomes you with a smile and they've memorized my coffee order (caramel iced caffe latte). I'm excited to see what new changes are to come for this quaint little cafe. Food & drinks are priced right, friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and consistently great coffee - the reasons I continue return to San Carlo Cafe & Bar !

Good little bar, nice outside seating, not too expensive

Nice cafe/bar, with outside seating under an awning. Good place for breakfast: we had a nice tomato/cheese omelette, two great coffees, and some buttery croissants. Seems to be frequented by the locals.

Stopped by just for a quick drink but ended up staying for hours for the amazing staff and free buffet(with our drink). This was the first bar in florence we stopped at, and I will be returning every night if possible. Amazing selections and lovely outside seating

Very delicious cocktails and a simple but very good free buffet (starting from 18:30) as from a true Tuscan home. Comfortable atmosphere both sitting inside and outside. Service was also kind and attentive. All of this for a very reasonable price, especially in expensive Florence! We will definitely return.

Cafe San Carlo is a great place for breakfast. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is bright. A great way to start your day in Florence.
