Fascinating to see the original art work preserved after the world war bombing that almost destroyed it. The room is light and climate controlled to attempt to protect the artwork. We paid €15 each to get in. Worth the price to see it, but there's not much else to see. It's a very small museum. I believe tours start approximately every 15 to 30 minutes, but call ahead or be prepared for a short wait to enter. They only sell 35 tickets to each time slot and it's hard to predict demand. The pictures of the damage to the building and courtyard from the war were moving and help one to realize that, in war, no one cares about anything of significant value...only an appetite for destruction. It's heartbreaking to realize how self-destructive our human nature really is. Makes me long to put off the natural man and rise above those natural tendencies.

It's very beautiful, and worth going at nearly any price. But the actual price is like €12, and the tour price is like €75. But you have to get your tickets well in advance because the tour companies buy up all the ticket spots, and it's basically scalping, which is really unsavory. But the museum is not motivated to do anything about it, so you're stuck paying a 500% markup for essentially nothing. So get your tickets early so that you don't have to pay the tour guide premium. The tour guide adds almost no value to the experience, so the minute you decide to go (and you definitely should go), get on line and buy your tickets, so you don't get caught in the tour guide markup scalping racket.

Definitely a must see in Milan and you can try to buy the tickets online although that option might be hard for last minute bookings. Alternative book tours via the normal websites and I would definitely recommend a guided tours. If the guide is good, you will learn a lot. You can only stay 15 minutes appreciating the last supper

To see this masterpiece in person is definitely a bucket list item. I had no idea how large it was and all the history behind it. Made on wood(I believe) which caused it to lose all it's glorious colors over the centuries. Many restorations over the years have saved it to condition it's in today.

I Reccomend buying tickets in advance as today and most days they are sold out. It's very interesting seeing such an iconic picture. You get a strict 15 minutes in the room but more than enough time.

Tickets must be purchased online. During my visit the green pass is needed to obtain your physical tickets. My tickets were 23+ EU because I selected an English tour guide which was worth it because our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. You’re only allow to appreciate the amazing art work for 15 minutes, which is a bummer wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to enter as tickets were sold out and apparently you need to book 3 months in advance which is crazy. The museum from outside looks beautiful which was our consolation

This is a perfect way to display this type of a masterpiece. Tickets booking online , you have to watch the website to book. Make sure you are aware of your time on your ticket .very small groups Entry is through a series of climate control doors and exhibits that show a lot of the history of the content and the mural. It's impossible to describe this is just everything you expected to be. Pictures of must stop if you're anywhere within a day's travel in the world.

I needed to order the tickets three months ago before I went in.... And also you can be inside only for 15 minutes after that you are kicked out literally.... Yeah it's a masterpiece but I don't think it's worth the time you need to wait to join and than see it only for 15 minutes.... These are just some of the pictures and the videos I took of the Cenacolo, The church, surrounding area and other....

I had the honor to be able to visit here and saw the painting of The Last Supper. The tour was amazing and informative. It was in English. I learned a lot about the history and the painting in the tour. The ticket had to be booked in advance, with the window opening 3 months ahead. The ticket usually sold out very quickly so plan accordingly. There will be lockers to store personal belongings.

For my visit date, the online tickets were no longer available. I contacted the group sales and they told me that 18 days before any given visit date, any unsold group tickets are released for individual online purchases. So, I kept re-checking the website and I was able to buy 2 tickets but I had to be quick. The museum has nice displays showing the restoration work as well as photos of the church from the WW2 bombings. It is truly amazing that the painting survived.

We had a great tour guide today. It is a pity that 45 minutes tour is too short. Definitely buy the ticket online 3 months in advance.

A true marvel of art. Definitely worth the visit. You get about 15 minutes (timed and quite strict) and there's no way you're getting in without a prior reservation for the tickets. Arrive 15 minutes in advance to make sure you make your time slot. There is a good app that you can use as an audio guide, so headphones might be handy. Enjoy this masterpiece from up close!

You will have 30 minutes to visit this masterpiece!! Try to book with the guide you will get decent explanation of the painting . Maybe it doesn’t look so attractive but 30 minutes will be enough to leave you speechless. It is important to know that booking has to be done 2 months in advance due to to high demand.Once again i am happy to witnessed such an art !

The painting everyone have heard about. Remember to turn around and see the other painting in the other end - it’s great to. Not the biggest challenge to get in, we were part of a group and hence had tickets in advance. There is toilets and a small nice garden and a shop

I had a great time at The Last Supper Museum. The guide was awesome and made the story behind the room and painting easy to understand. I learned a lot and saw how special the painting really is. The museum feels like stepping back in time. Just a heads up, you'll need to book a ticket well in advance to get in, but it's totally worth it. Definitely a five-star experience!

Tickets go on sale 2 months in advance and they do sell out. Luckily I bought my tickets in advance because we saw multiple people turned away at the door the day we went. The website is a bit challenging to navigate, but a necessity. I gave the four star rating because I think they could make it more accessible for people. You have to go with a tour group, which is not ideal, but fine. The work itself is, of course, incredible and the preservation/restoration process is quite impressive.

A humbling experience seeing such a celebrated work of art. You can tell they have done their utmost to preserve the piece. The museum itself is small, you get 15 minutes to view the painting. There are some boards with additional information to read after the viewing time has elapsed. For 15 euros it is worth it. Please be aware, the ticket office opens at 08:00am. So if you are booked on the 08:15am visit slot then this is the earliest that you can collect your tickets (the email states the arrive 30 minutes prior to visit slot). Drinks are not permitted inside the museum itself. There are free lockers available, however drinks must be inside a bag and cannot be stored on their own.

Definitely worth the ticket. Be careful - you have to first go to the ticket office, where you get actual tickets for your online reservation and leave all your bags. Then you go the actual building with The Last Supper (it's the fancy door that can be access from the square), and with one more fresco. Further away, still accessible from the square, is a church , with a little garden / patio in the back - this church does not lead to The Last Supper building. Opposite the exit from the ticket office is a shop with beautiful paper products (the nicest postcards I've seen in whole Milan, notebooks...

Ticket only via online, everyday from 9:00 am to reserve, 15€ for adult, with Italien guide you have a better chance to get the ticket. Also easygoing to change the online reservation to the ticket in the ticket office, 15 min before the time you booked. It lasts only 15 min with taking picture opportunity. Actually in the museum the light is even a little dark, and the painting is also not every small, at the end you can only see the painting of Da Vinci better in your own picture, therefore more astonished how did he do this genial job.

Well worth the visit. I know it's not easy to find tickets. But I highly advise to check the website every day. Thats how I managed to find a ticket. It was a ticket with a workshop. It was a blessing for me... since after the guided visit, only 4 of the participants decided to stay for the drawing workshop. And it was great. We could ask questions, rest in an airconditioned room... while drawing and relaxing a bit. A very good experience from the guide and a great value for money.

Wonderful painting created by da Vinci, so impressed by seeing it in person and totally stunned after seeing it. Impressive!!!! And I wish we can spend more time there. One tip! Do all your research/ background study before you get in and you are only allowed to spend 15 mins with the painting.

A must. With only 23€ you can have a beautiful guide and breath the air of the year 1498 when Leonardo made this piece of art. These pictures can give you an idea but only 15 minutes of the air you breathe inside will bring you back to that past. Be part of it. Don't miss it.

First of all, by the ticket in advance, if it is for summer time, at least a month in advance. We visited in January which is a quiet month but on the day of our visit we saw many people trying to buy a ticket but everything spot was fully booked for the day. So even for low season book two weeks in advance and the tickets are rigorous and specific for the slot you booked. If you try to use your ticket go in earlier or later, you not gonna be able to use it and you will lose your ticket. Arrive 30 minutes in advance so you don’t take the risk to no find the place. Just 15 minutes inside but it was enough to contemplate perhaps the best painting of Da Vinci.

This fresco is a "must see" if you visit Milan. I recommend to familiarize yourself with the history of the fresco prior to the visit. It would be real nice if there were multilingual audio guides available, which would help you to get even more out of the visit. I was able to book the time slot ab. one week in advance in October but I can imagine that during the tourist season you need to book it much earlier

When my family and I were in a hurry in Milan, we wanted to see Da Vinci's magnificent Last Supper. Unfortunately, we did not make a reservation in advance, so we were told that, unfortunately, the tour would not be possible. So we stayed out. Too bad.

Last stop in Milan before Venice. My husband scheduled a tour to see Da Vinci's The Last Supper. Our tour guide was excellent! She explained every detail about the history of the church, why we could only spend 15 minutes in the room to view the full picture, but in that 15 minutes, it was amazing! She fully explained all of the emotions and thought processes of the apostles and the account of Jesus...mind blown! Definitely worth seeing, just awestruck!

Unbelievable - possibly the most impressive art piece I’ve ever seen. Very emotional. It really is a masterpiece. Funny seeing poor reviews - I booked my ticket two months in advance as i knew o was coming to Milan. No issues at all - and found the ticket system grand.

Amazing is all one can say. When in Milan you should try to see this masterpiece but plan in advance it sells out every day! The Last Supper was so nearly bombed out of existence in 1943 so we are all fortunate to be able to see it these days!

For me it's one of the most and fabulous art treasures in the world. I would easily compare this to completing a pilgrimage for art and history enthusiasts alike. I would say the feeling was like being one with the great master himself just to see the great fresco with my own eyes. We purchased our tickets through pre booking with a 3 hour walking tour. You can not do the walking tour if you choose not to. To see this masterpiece in person is definitely a bucket list item.

Smooth experience for us, because we booked in advance. That is a must! If you don't book in advance you risk the whole week of your visit bei'g fully booked. The access to free entry for myself and a companion with the EU disability card, went very easily. No questions asked. Special kudos for the lady at the lockers, she had a very happy vibe and was happy to help us! The time you get to spend admiring the Last Supper is short but perfect in my opinion. Happy we did this!

I finally got to see the Last Supper, which I had always wanted to see someday. We bought tickets in advance and were ushered inside at the appropriate time. The system was well organized and we were able to see the show comfortably. It is better to be punctual. The Last Supper itself is not a spectacular painting, but I was surprised that a 500 year old painting has survived so well. I highly recommend a visit when you are in Milan.

Spectacular painting definitely worth seeing; visit was very well organised - you buy ticket for a specific time. They let at once only 25 People for 15 min. It’s enough to take a look on the masterpiece with no crowds around

Booked the tickets the first day when they are available. Go there 20 minutes before your time to get the real tickets. Make sure to bring IDs because they check the names to ensure the tickets didn't get resold by the purchaser. The English guided tour was excellent. Everyone gets around 15 minutes in the room to view the painting. A cool experience.

  • 5/5 Jim V. 1 year ago on Google
The Last Supper was awesome to see in person. We booked a tour to see as it is hard to get tickets through the ticket center. They tend to be sold out well in advance. The maximum amount of people allowed to view is thirty people so you really have plenty of space to see it. They only allow fifteen minutes per session so it moves pretty quick.

  • 5/5 Michael A. 2 years ago on Google
I’ve visited the last supper before, but this time I made reservations online and was able to book a tour with an English speaking tour guide for only a little more. That is the best way to do it! Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guides

This place has a beautiful and special aura. It is fascinating to see the painting in real life. The staff and the circuit is very well organized. You leave your baggage there 10 minutes in advance and with 5 minutes before your visit, you need to be at the door. You get past security and the doors will open automatically when it is scheduled. 15 mins is more than enough to admire the masterpiece. You need to book in advance, so I suggest you check the available places a long time before your journey(around 1-2 months before, but some free places will appear randomly sometimes, so definitely check their website from time to time)

  • 5/5 Guillermo Armando H. 5 months ago on Google
It is one of those spots that will make travel for hours to Milan and pay a visit. The care and organization is a thing to note. I recommend doing the visit with a guide. Most of the guides will give so many historical facts and help you better understand and pay attention to the details that Leonardo wanted to transmit. Book well in advance because the spots are filled for weeks before.

Amazing to see The most famous art in the world of DaVinci, know the history and see how much design and details of it, how much works to conserve it on the wall. It s crazy that the war didn’t damage his work. Although the painting is great, we did hire a tour that cost us really expensive and really not worth it for the price. it s a really fast and short tour, u can’t really stay long as they control the quantity of people that goes in each slot of time which I think is 10 or 15min top. Purchase the ticket in advance as it has name on each tix and will need to match with your document. And get in on time. Can’t bring in water or backpack (they got locker if needed).

  • 3/5 Matthieu A. 2 years ago on Google
Worth to see once in a life time. However they make it extremely difficult, you have even to leave all your belongings before your visit, and not to mention that you have to make a reservation and arrive 15 mins before, and you can’t stay more then 15 mins.

  • 5/5 Julian D. 1 year ago on Google
Simple showing of one of the top paintings in the world. Nice to be on the grounds of a legend. Try to find the cast/molding of the painting for the blind, this will offer insight for you into other elements you will miss upon first looks.! Please; Book in advance. It’s pretty know that you can’t just walk in. It’s not a good look to just stroll up and be rejected.. save your face, plan ahead. Enjoy

Defined an experience worth organizing. The space and organization are perfect. Maybe I would just add a little more history and explanation for those who do not know much. Respect the rules, they are made to conserve the art. Went with reservation and it rubbed quite smoothly, be there 30 min ahead of time to get your tickets.

During World War 2 the building was bombed and destroyed. It is a miracle that the Last Supper survived. Standing in front of The Last Supper was an incredible experience. Such an amazing and famous piece of art. It was a very intimate experience, because you enter the enclosed room in a small group. Temperature and humidity of the room is controlled to protect the artwork. You will have about 15 minutes in the room before you are asked to leave, and the next group can enter.

If you are an art enthusiast or a deeply religious person this is a mist see for you. If you are more of a casual tourist and this looks likes a fun thing to visit, you may be disappointed. I recommend you go with a tour guide to understand the history and story behind the painting and building. On your own I fear you will not fully grasp the full story with just the signs in Italian.

One of the greatest artistic treasures of the world. Its like completing a pilgrimage for art lovers and history enthusiasts alike. For me the feeling was like being one with the great master himself just to see the great fresco with my own eyes. The most important thing is to make the booking atleast 2 months in advance. Great place. I’d like to come here with some more knowledge on the renaissance era. As a non European, I never got an opportunity to know about this history. After my visit to great treasures and art monuments in Italy is motivating me to study European Art history. I’d recommend to book tickets way in advance. We booked our tickets in February for our visit in May.
