...an old alpine pasture, warm hostess, perfect Tyrolean cuisine!!! ...eat the bacon dumpling with mushroom cream sauce...unforgettable :-))

The Gasthaus Haashof was recommended to us by our host in Oberkirn and yes, we couldn't have gotten a better recommendation than eating there. The inn is located in the picturesque village of Videgg, which can be reached by car from Schenna in about 20 minutes, but via narrower, slower roads. But the journey there is well worth it. In the warm, sparkling clean dining room, furnished with a lot of love and warmth, you are welcomed by the hostess and given wonderful advice. The dumplings were the best I have ever eaten in South Tyrol. The bacon and herb dumplings, particularly worth mentioning, were a treat for the palate, very balanced in taste and extremely fresh, you can tell that only home-made products are used here. I could have eaten 5 dumplings, it was that delicious. The salad was crispy and perfect as a side dish, the dessert, the Griemkuchen, is definitely recommended, but the highlight is definitely the dumplings. A very nice place to dine and enjoy, we couldn't be happier :). Very fair price-performance ratio and super delicious South Tyrolean food :) A big recommendation!

20230608 Definitely a *must* and my highlight on my hiking holiday in Meran 🤩 The inns in Videgg are wonderful 🫶 Best view and delicious food. The prices are normal but they are also made in-house... I love buttermilk, elderflower spritzer and especially the dumplings... stinging nettle, dandelion and bacon dumplings and the coleslaw... wonderful. The inns in Videgg can be reached via beautiful hikes with great panoramic views... the optimal starting points are the respective mountain railways in Taser and Verdins or Prenn.

Ideal stopover on a bike tour in the Hirzer area. Beautiful location with a view and nice service.

We took a break here on our MTB tour. Great sun terrace with fantastic views, friendly staff. We ordered a cheese platter and Kaiserschmarrn. Both very tasty and a good portion.

The landlady made us a delicious Kaiserschmarrn at 4 p.m. Raspberry juice is homemade and tastes great! There is a covered bike parking space where you can hang your bikes on the saddle. Very nice people. Great view. We really enjoyed the stop.

We were there for lunch with the whole family (6 adults and 4 children) over the May 1st weekend. Excellent food, the snack and the Kaiserschmarren are particularly noteworthy. The view from the balcony directly onto the great, large playground is super relaxing for the parents. We were thrilled.

Very nice and polite service and very tasty food. Can only be recommended.
