Mind-bogglingly good food at a truly food-centric restaurant. It's like they turn the flavours up to 11. Combinations of tastes and textures never dreamed up before. Great service and chill atmosphere. Shockingly affordable for the high quality food being prepared here (paid 30 eur/person for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 drinks + 1 dessert).

This place is EXCELLENT! Book it!!! We walked by during the day and it looked really nice, so booked in. We got the last table - the whole place was booked and turned walk ins away all night. The decor is really nice, works really well. The staff were very friendly and helpful - able to make recommendations on the menu. The food - AMAZING! Honestly it was so creative and tasty. I had the duck with orange risotto and it was incredible. It was also extremely reasonably priced. This is definitely a must visit spot for dinner!

This was a dream. First of all.. the staff is amazing! So professional, kind and willing! You really feel welcome.:) Second of all… their food is fantastic!! We had such a dilemma what to order as everything seemed so good! We had 5 different meals and each one was wonderful and tasty! And even the place itself is cute! It’s small, friendly and with lovely view to the Jardim Municipal.:) 5 stars are not enough✨

Such an easy 5 stars for this restaurant. We were passing one day and booked this lovely place for our last evening meal in Funchal on holiday. After a beautiful eating experience on every level, we wished we had more nights left to try more of the amazing menu and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and super courteous staff...who are a real credit to this restaurant. The food and drink was unbelievable and fantastic value.. and a highlight was one of the best home made ice-creams (peanut) I have ever had and will remember for a long time! The portions are just right to allow a full 3 courses without feeling stuffed. And you WILL want to try the desserts! The waitress was very kind and offered us complimentary ( delicious) banana liqueurs as it was our last night and to thank us for visiting. So wonderful, warm and friendly. Please visit ( book as they have limited seating and turned many away whilst we were there) you won't be disappointed !!

Excellent service and amazing food. Off the busy roads with pleasant background music- lovely vibe. Pizzas were big but delicious! Starters were very well thought through and presented.

Absolutely superb. The food and service is easily the match of somewhere twice the price. We ended up going 4 times in a week and never had a bad meal. Nice relaxed atmosphere with attentive but not overbearing service. You’ll get a nice bottle of bubbles and 2 mains for €50. Don’t miss it.

Excellent and unique food experience. Portuguese steak is tasty, surrounded by very tasty potato chips. Pizza dough is surprisingly soft, but not chewy, gummy, or too thick, something I've never seen before.

Nice Italian place in Funchal centre. We took two different risotto: duck and orange, seaweed and scallops, and both were delicious. Good sangria and starters

Fantastic food, friendly staff who were very helpful. We chose pizza Nero and Portuguese steak and a portion of Bruschetta to share. Would have eaten here 2 nights running but they are closed on Sundays.

This was my favourite meal during my 2 weeks in Portugal. The ravioli was AMAZING and the octopus was so delicious. Definitely worth a visit in Funchal! Staff was also very nice.

Food first class only went once as didn't fine until late into holiday will go when we return in April. Had duck with orange risotto so good plus the mushroom risotto with chicken just as good 👍

Small, cute Italian Restaurant right next to a beutiful park. All the staff members were super friendly and regardfull. The black pizza was a piece of art and the risotto tasted heavenly!

Delicious dinner in a relaxed setting.We were lucky to get a table for two without a booking as the place was full. Small restaurant but rather nice, relaxed, intimate. The staff were very attentive and helpful, the dinner was delicious. One of the best meals we had in Funchal. Prawns and gyozas for starters then steak and octopus risotto for mains. Very glad we found it, totally recommend.

It was the best Italian food I ever tried. We didn't know what to choose and completely rely on waiter suggestions. It was fenomenal. Black pizza with smoke salmon was our favorite dish. Unimaginable good.

On holiday in Madeira for a week, visited this restaurant twice, would of visited again on our last night but unfortunately they're closed on a Sunday night. Definitely recommend this place, the staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was delicious. We couldn't make our minds up on what to have so we shared the three mains, so they spilt the ravioli main for us into two bowls so we could have it as a starter. We enjoyed the food so much, on our second visit we have three mains again as we wanted to try as much of the menu as we could.

Dinner was great. Particularly the duck was tender and juicy. I was a bit upset about the water price which was 3.7 euro…. Come on…

Pretty good risotto but the bruschetta appetizer was amazing! Felt like a fancy dinner for a low price and the staff was super helpful and nice!

I have never tasted risotto as tasty in my life. Top class service and food. The buschetta was so delicious.

In a nutshell: If you go for wine and starters, you will be fine. I would give 4* for that. However, if you came here for pizza or risotto, you will be heavily disappointed. This had nothing to do with a good product. They are not trying to mimic Italian pizza but neither do es this Interpretation taste well. And the worst: after commenting this to the waitress, all we got were comments like: "thank you for being honest" and "if you try the pizza the second time, you will love it" - we will definitely not.

Cozy and stylish restaurant situated right next to the park and with really pleasant and kind service. Our meal was delicious, we had soup of the day + pizza and sangria and we recommend it all. In this restaurant you can have nice lunch or dinner right in the city center for reasonable price.

Perfect service, really good food and nice ambient in a great location with very reasonable prices (pizzas are in 10-15 eur range, but don't skip the couvert). Loved it.

Great Italian food with a local twist. We both had a risotto and it didn't disappoint us. Would recommend this restaurant anytime.

We adapted their vegetarian pizza to vegan, it was lovely. Obviously, it would have been nice to be able to have vegan cheese but regardless, it was a nice meal. Waitress did recommend to fry the Risotto in the future, which may have been more flavoursome. Friendly staff and good service :-)

Amazing experience, amazing location! Portuguese stake is lovely and it comes with an even nicer sauce. It is in the city centre with parking spaces all around it. Try to park in the streets near the park that's near the restaurant. Staff are lovely and polite, try to book in advance as the spaces is limited.
