The hostel is nice, well situated. This is a place where you feel like home. The room was big, the bed is comfortable. We had a private bathroom. Jorge is a very nice and helpful person. He came to pick us up at the airport, then explained us where we could have dinner. And the breakfast was ready even though we had to leave to catch a plane at 5am. This is definitely the place to be

We had à great experience in this hostel! The homemade breakfast was delicious and always different, the rooms were super comfortable, the kitchen and the livingroom made us feel like at home, and Miguel's advice about the island were always precious! Thanks again for the perfect hospitality

The house is cozy and comfortable. In the big living room then, it feels like to be at home. Very good breakfast, and a perfet host to serve it (miguel) wich patiently gives all sorts of advice

Amazing hostel !!! Great place, really clean and a wonderful house. The breakfast was amazing, Jorge served us a large variety of food. Breakfast begins at 9. There are planes flying above the house and some of them are really loud, but there are no flights during the night. The last one I think is at 22.30 and the first one is at 7.30 am. After one night I got used to them and didn't hear them anymore. Even thought is a busy street there, we did found a place to park our rental every night. I do recommend this house with all my heart. Jorge is an amazing person, willing to help you at every hour of the day. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Super nice people! I have an early flight so Madalena (I think is the manager) call me a taxi, prepared the breakfast for me (the night before), she is the best! Thank you for everything ❤ the house is pretty, clean, 6 min from the airport and 10 min walking of the city center.

This is a gem of a hostal! Clean, comfortable, close to the center of Ponta Delgada where you can catch buses to the rest of the island...Plus you get the best homemade breakfast in town, and, if you want it, any information about places to visit while on the island from wonderful hosts, Magda, Delta, and Katy. Lovely hostel with beautiful curated design. Jorge is simply the best host ever! Very kind and helpful in everything. The position is perfect, close to the airport and at 10 minutes walking from the city center. Highly recommended!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Superclean, well-located, cozy. The breakfasts are perfect. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Public parking is available and free. I do recommend to stay there.

We had an amazing time at a-typica guesthouse! Leo and his girlfriend are incredible hosts, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are beautiful and very close to downtown. They gave us some great suggestions on hikes, attractions, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend it!
