Great location, kind staff, super view in high floors, cool relaxing pool area. Breakfast is.. ok but restaurant too gourmet for our liking. Do not expect traditional portuguese food.. you are better of with local restaurants. You have car? Choose hotel parking. Safer and cheaper than street.

I thought I had already made a review for this hotel, but if Google is asking me to do it, I guess it is because I didn't. Unfortunately, I have to say that this Sana Sesimbra Hotel does not deserve to be a 4 stars. It's a very average Hotel. Entering through the door, I instantly understood that it was not a four stars hotel. This is a hotel that is comparable to an IBIS one. I recommend staying in this hotel only for one night, no more. If you go to this hotel, you will understand how cheap it is, however, I payed 234 euros per night, as if it was a very good hotel, a fact that is very far away from the truth. Sorry to say this, but people giving this hotel a good rating, probably have never been or stayed at a good hotel. Besides, I don't recommend to stay at Sesimbra if you go using your own car, you will get broken because of parking is payed everyday of the week from 9 am to 10 pm, and if you want to use the Sana Hotel parking, you will have to pay 12 euros a day, which is stupidly insane.

The receptionist Jacqueline was simply fantastic, room spotless, seemingly great housekeeping team. Unfortunately, you must pay 12 euros for the parking. Ordered a glass of baileys, served a Carolans cream for the same price--perhaps a mistake.

Winter, outer pool turned into a inner pool, warm enough water to have hours of goof fun. Sauna and Turkish bath with a sound quality, although a little bit too warm without possibility to fine tune. But all good. Breakfast was top.

A quite little fishing village off Lisbon. Very sumptuous seafood cuisine.

Great location… the room had a little balcony and was at the side so we didn’t have much traffic noise at all… the breakfast buffet was ok with a good selection and choice… the underground parking is convenient but has very tight, narrow and steep access ramps with poor visibility so beware!

The very kind concierge called a taxi for us while we were stuck in Sesimbra after a tour and needed to get back to Lisbon, even though we were not hotel guests. We are so grateful!

It's a great location. The room sound proof is poor. If you have a car reserve a spot at the hotel garage. Cheaper and safer than leaving it in the street. All staff and management is fantastic.

We're a family of 3 adults and 2 children and stayed at Sana sesimbra for 4 nights with half board. We rarely write reviews, the exception being bad ones..eheheh.. So, we've been at several hotels in Portugal, Europe, Asia, USA and Africa and our stay at Sana Sesimbra has been one of our top 3 stays ever. The place is unique, in a superb location, with excellent service and the food is not 4 stars..it's 6 stars (check the pics). We felt at home and not in another 'strange' hotel. Every staff member went the extra mile in making sure our stay was impeccable. Also, the director, Mr. Victor Cópio personally comes and salutes every guest and hears about any issues they have...a rare approach in hotel management nowadays. We'll definitely return and are happy to strongly recommend a stay at Sana Sesimbra. We are already missing going to sleep hearing the gentle sound coming from the waves. Be sure to try it out, it will be memorable.

I paid 12.99€ for the parking in the -2floor where its really DANGER AND YOU MIGHT DAMAGE YOUR CAR WITH SUCH A NARROW CURVE, where you can actually see a lot of paint from others cars. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE MINI BAR DOESN'T HAVE PRICES SO I ACTUALLY END UP PAYING EXTRA 114€ for the room mini bar. Very disappointed. Thank you
