Nice small cafe along the streetside. There is parking lots close by though and I had no trouble finding one nearby. Seemed to be pretty busy and many people seem to come here to work on things with their laptops out and eat. I got the Spicy swine and Jack of All Trades. I liked how the spicy swine and a bit of a kick of spice to it and the pita bread was really soft! I also got the matcha blossom speciality drink and thought it was a perfect sweetness, not too sweet. I recommend coming here for a quick bite! They also come to your table to drop off the food for dine in.

Just needed a quick breakfast to go and had a recommendation to try this spot; did not disappoint! Two excellent sandwiches, perfectly fluffy eggs, everything tasted super fresh, plus the coffee was on point. The London Fog was sweeter than expected but that's on me for picking a dessert for breakfast. Quality ingredients hit different, half a sandwich each kept us full for a couple of hours walking around, and the rest helped tide us over until we found a spot for lunch. Thanks for the grub, we'll be back!

A huge menu with a great selection of coffees (alternative milks, seasonal flavor menus) and teas. There are breakfast and lunch sandwiches, pastries, and desserts (homemade gelato!). The long line and food delivery to the table moves quickly and orders come out fast. The staff are friendly and courteous. The food is great as are the lattes. This is a great little spot in historic Fairfax.

Happened to be here while we were on our Virginia trip in March 2022. I am glad that my brother took me here for breakfast. The place is small and right on the corner of the street. Found parking next to it as it was weekend. The food was super tasty. The breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee, muffin and a few more items we all tried and everything was prepared very well, authentic and fresh. I would love to visit again when I happen to be in this area again.

3.5 ALMOST MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST PLACE! BUT WENT DOWN REALLY FAST! CUSTOMER SERVICE Not stable. Some employees are amazing! Others seemed they were obligated to be there. FOOD WOW!! Perfectly balanced. Nothing salty. Breakfast sausage sandwich was spectacular. The Super sandwich, dang good, but, bread was a bit on the hard side. DRINKS This is were the floor was taking from under our feet. Took sooooo long to get our drinks. One person in my table almost finished their sandwich before the drinks arrived. Then the really bad happened, our drinks were diabetic heaven! They tasted like the Mary Poppins song, A spoon full of sugar! The Matcha Blossom with real rose was the worst matcha drink I've had, because of the sweetness. But, if you like extremely, I mean an EXTREMELY, sweet drink then it is for you. LOCATION Beautiful and very family oriented. Cozy. RETURN FACTOR 💯 % CAVEAT I'll make sure to ask for unsweetened drinks. RECOMMEND A FRIEND FACTOR 💯 % (With the above warning)

I like how this café has very unique drinks. I chose the Okinawa Haze, which is basically an ube latte. I grabbed my latte to-go because the café was quite busy and was a bit crowded, but it was a very hot day, so I'm sure people were trying to stay cool inside. My latte looked unique and cool with the purple hue from the ube and it tasted very delicious. I recommend visiting this café to try some of their drinks.

Best Cafe in NoVa! Everything you order is fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The wrapping paper they use is a fun, unique touch. So far I’ve had the veggie one-eyed jack with bacon, the caprese sandwich (mind blowing good), the salted caramel gelatoccino, and French press. The space itself is full of various seating arrangements, two Wi-Fi options, and quiet enough to host conference calls. If I lived within walking distance, I’d come every day. Hats off to the owners, managers, and staff for creating a beautiful cafe to spice up the WFH life.

This place is a gem. The menu is extensive, but the staff is very friendly and will help you pick something out. There are a lot of unique menu items to try. I kept it classic and went with a simple breakfast sandwich and it was perfect. The muffins are also a must to try.

Had the Spicy Swan sandwich with iced green tea, and I was amazed at how good it was.. I’ve been here few other times to have their great coffee drinks, but didn’t expect the sandwich to be this good. I will definitely come back to try other sandwiches they have. Not a big deal, but wish they had more chip varieties to go with their delicious sandwiches.

I went there with my friend. The place was very cozy with fancy window. I love their refreshing drinks they made and the sandwitch was amazing. Also, you can enjoy their seasonal menu depending on the season!

My husband and I wanted a quick breakfast before an appointment nearby. We saw De Clieu and decided to try it out! There’s plenty of parking so that’s a major plus for convenience. The staff are very fast and friendly. The menu is awesome. The quality of the food and coffee are great as well. If I’m ever in Fairfax, I would definitely come here again!

Great place for coffee and sandwiches (of course)- everything was delicious! Got some work done while I was here as well. It was very busy for good reason!

I have been a customer for many years, often take my relatives here for breakfast or lunch, and always enjoy the sandwiches and coffee. I especially like the cold brew which is my go-to drink, they use good beans and it is nice and smooth, and not burned tasting like many other larger places. The friendly staff quickly learned what I like so I can order almost by saying 'the usual' :). There are precious few places that do both coffee and food well, and this is one of them. I would recommend this place, though it can get crowded on weekends, just go on an off time and you will find it easy to get a seat.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and will give recommendations on food/drinks. Always busy given that it is in the middle of the city of Fairfax and only a couple miles away from GMU.

Lovely coffee shop, great selection of food and beverages! Plenty of seating too, which is a huge plus for a college student who enjoys using coffee shops as study spots. For my coffee I went for the pumpkin pie latte, which was delicious and not over-sweetened like the default Starbucks pumpkin spice. I also got a spinach & feta croissant and a blueberry-banana muffin; both were good but the spinach & feta croissant was amazing! I do wish they would play the music just a little quieter though, it seemed hard to carry a conversation without raising one’s voice a little. Not a huge issue for me, but if you have sensory issues with lots of background noise you might want to consider that.

This place is cute. But honestly was a little surprised with all the raving reviews, bc it’s nice but not overly impressive. We ordered a cappuccino, maple iced latte, mango smoothie, and cream cheese danish. The maple latte and smoothie were really yummy! But the people at the cafe were sort of rude and cold. Not my cup of tea.

This place is warm and cozy. The lattes are works of art - with amazing flavors that make it worth your while to stop by regularly to see what the seasonal offerings are. But, if nothing on their ever-changing seasonal menu catches your eye - the honey charcoal latte is *chef's kiss* always a winner. My daughter is completely smitten with their Honey Bread - it is her favorite out-to-eat treat. But one of the best things about De Clieu is the atmosphere - bring a friend or a book, you'll be able to settle in and have a lovely experience.

Located right on Main Street, they have some unique latte drinks and use house-made syrups. I had a matcha latte with rose syrup and it was the right amount of sweetness! the bagel sandwiches are amazing and a great option for breakfast!

We enjoyed breakfast here. I had the Eggacado - Eggs, Bacon, Cheddar cheese, Guacamole on a plain bagel. It was delicious. My husband enjoyed the Egg and Cheese on a plain bagel. We both also had a medium sized coffee with cream. The coffee was a little bitter towards the bottom of our cups. Our only complaint. Employees were very friendly. Lots of seating. Restaurant was clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

A friend posted about this place, so I went to check it out. Great location. It definitely stays busy on the weekend. The Okinawa Haze Ube coffee is very good. I got the coffee with oat milk, and it didn't have that oat taste. Highly recommended. I've had the egg and cheese on a croissant; it's ok. I haven't tried other food items, but the coffee is a win!

    - coffee was really good. The honey charcoal latte was nicely made and had good flavor. - food was fresh but had very little flavor, they need to add some seasonings on their stuff cause it's really bland. - inside gets way too busy and hard to find open seats. - parking is pretty limited in the area so expect to Walk a little bit to get here. - place was clean and organized. - staff were mostly friendly and nice. - service was good and only waited 7minutes to get food and coffee after ordering. Probably stood in line for 10minutes or so. Note that they were really busy. - prices are too high honestly, $40 for two people just to get coffee and sandwiches Is a bit ridiculous. - atmosphere was uncomfortable due to the other customers in the building talking about the way I look and making fun of how I look so I would say this area is full of stuck up people that are miserable with their own lives. - overall not bad but prices are way to high to return frequently and the other customers made it not a fun experience. - not the best first experience at this location.

This place is pretty good but slightly off in terms of barista-ing. Last time I got a plain iced latte it wasn’t mixed. They said to stir it with my flimsy plastic straw. It was also way too much milk for the size, it was already light and then I mixed it and it just tasted like milk, I think they missed an espresso shot. I could have gone back but I didn’t want to wait in line. Sammies are good, nothing mind blowing, but my husband got sick after one within the last 6 mos so we haven’t ordered food again. I wish they would bring back the quiche.
