Beautiful park! Lots of nature to observe and quite large. There are a lot of biking paths but also quite a few that you can safely walk on. Just make sure you pay attention.

Spacious park with many biking options. Most of the bike trails are hilly and or made of dirt

Amazing park! I can't believe that I have waited so long to visit this park. It is a very huge park with tons of bicycle and walking trails. The trails are well marked too. The park is very well maintained. There are bathrooms and pavilions throughout as well as conveniently located power outlets, even in some places that you might least expect them. There is even a firearm range within the park. River Bends Park is an exceptional park and is most certainly worth the visit. There is definitely more than enough parking and there is no charge to enter. Plan a short stay or an entire day, the park is great for either.

Been coming here all my life. Since I was a kid going to the local art festival to buy pokémon cards, to riding my bike during high school. Now i frequently come to take pictures and play disc golf. The park is extensive with many cool paths to follow. My favorite place is the old railroad tracks and the tunnel leading to them. The disc golf course is not bad at all, although there is a fair amount of trees and places discs can get lost in . I always bring jeans and boots due to some of the mud

Such an awesome park. So many things to see and do. Make sure you check out all of the trails. There are plenty to keep you busy all day. Plenty of bathrooms and fields to play in. Playgrounds are great as well. If you get too hot stop along the river to cool down !

Took my kids here while we waited for my son to be done with baseball practice. They seemed to be happy with it. There was a small play structure for younger kids, and a larger one for a little bit older kids. There were only 2 swings one of which was a baby swing and one regular so that was kind of a bummer, but other than that it was a nice park.

Have always loved this park. Such a great time for mountain biking and a nice ride on pavement if you prefer. Love the trails here. Both good for biking, and hiking!

From beginner level through advanced level, this park has MTB trails to suit. There are around 10 miles of MTB trails in this park. Most trails are fairly well marked, and are one-way. Take a ride and see a variety of scenery and wildlife! There is a bike repair station and there are restrooms onsite. This is a popular park, so expect to encounter other outdoor enjoyers.

My friend and I walked the trail here today. It's so beautiful, and everything is so well-maintained and clean. Lots of different trails for biking or hiking, plus fields for sports and ample parking, are also available. I absolutely loved spending the morning here, and I will definitely be coming to explore more. Highly recommend coming here for a fun day out, very kid & dog friendly as well. Plus, this park is free.

Very quiet and peaceful park. Very large, many trails. Beautiful scenery. I drive to the back first then wind my way around. Make sure to stop in at the nature center in the front of park. Amazing gardens.

Amazing trails both for walking & biking. Frequent benches & the bike maintenance station was a nice touch. Bathrooms are frequently open. Two entrances with so much to do & be seen.

This trip to the park was for the Shelby Township Art Festival. It was great. One band on each side of the park was great entertainment. Lots of vendors with great products.

The main entrance has a separate nature area to the left, I didn't get a chance to check it our since they were not open at the time. There are quite a few baseball fields, a few playgrounds for kids. There is a long paved walking area around the park. There is an archery area, separate from th2 other areas of the park, and what appears to be a dirt bike challenge area for training. Beyond that, there is a gravel walkway that meanders behind the park, which takes you to th we river. Once near the river, there are extensive disk freebie stations. There are benches well spaced apart for resting and trails along the river. The park is well maintained, and I saw employees emptying the trash cans from the weekend.

Great park with lots of play structures and gazebos. There's a paved path that will take you through the entire park, and there's plenty of unpaved mountain bike trails as well. Water is pretty easy to access if you're looking to kayak or swim. The disc golf course has 27 holes and is extremely challenging. Lots of wooded holes with a few more open ones here and there, but hazards throughout. Ticks and mosquitoes get terribly bad during late spring and early summer, so bring spray. The middle nine and back nine are the easiest 18 if you're looking for a good time. Only play the front nine if you're looking to test your mental game.

Nice park for a stroll, run or bike ride. Tennis courts, baseball fields, shooting range and a lovely little nature garden /info spot. Well kept and dog friendly. Even has workout stations as you traverse the pathways.

Very relaxing place to visit. Usually busy on the weekends. Perfect for people that want to walk, run, bike, and even disc golf.

This park is very nice and suitable for bikers, pedestrians and skaters. It features a shooting range and plenty of trails that go very far. Additionally, there are a few small playgrounds for children and parking was hassle-free. If you, however, decide to rollerblade, I do not recommend it. This is because the park itself is very hilly and it can be difficult especially for those who are new to rollerblading. All in all, it’s a great park for families, couples, and friends!

Was there for music in the park. The band was very good- Magic Bus! The area to dance in was horrendous- it was gravel stones and dirt:-( great for listening not for dancing!

Nice park. Disc golf course is nice. 27 holes. Very wooded and secluded so gives that nature aspect but isn’t too difficult overall and you won’t lose discs easily.
