I am a brunch fanatic so I had to try out this lovely brunch spot in lakewood located right near the water. They have brunch available from 10am-2pm on the weekend. The chicken and waffles are delicious and have the perfect amount of flavor for your taste buds , pair it with a side of fruit or a warm cinnamon roll and your bound to be visiting again soon. Also try out their mimosa because what Is brunch without one. Overall 10/10 location food and service top tier!

Getting the right table at Summer House is important as some tables have a better view of the lake. There's a large bar where food and drinks are served. The food is professionally prepped and served by a friendly and courteous waiting staff. Plenty of protein options in the menu, some quite pricey but well executed and presented. The weekend brunch is impressive with an eclectic collection of dishes. Reserving a table is the smart thing to do as the place is popular and fills up quickly, particularly over the weekend.

Friends here recommended Summer Place; we ordered food to go! The restaurant itself and the view it offers was amazing (walked through to pick up our order). The staff was friendly and prompt with our service. The pizza, cornbread and Brussel sprouts were fresh, hot and absolutely amazing. The cornbread and butter is a must (see pictures). Even if you’re not a Brussel sprout fan, you will love this appetizer; seriously!! #glasscitydotfoodie

Summer House was an excellent experience. The restaurant is right by the water, it was easy to get reservations online, and the food was really good and big portion sizes. The drinks were delicious as well! Overall a really good experience!

Swanky place right on Lake Erie at the Carlyle. I had the walleye. It was pretty good. My son had the short ribs with mashed potatoes. The mashed were out of this world!! My sister had flat bread, which was actually a Margherita pizza, and a fattoush salad. Deviled eggs with caviar was our appetizer. For the high prices, we were expecting something more phenomenal. It wasn't bad at all, but for our picky palates, it was just okay.

We ordered the veggie omelet and short rib hash. Both dishes were flavorful, nice presentation and filling. A side of thick cut bacon was excellent. We also had coffee and mimosa’s, which were good. I’d also rate our service as excellent. Other than being a little pricey for brunch ($75 for 2 people), you’ll get past that with the wonderful view of Lake Erie and downtown Cleveland. Highly recommend! We visited on Saturday 8/12 for brunch around 11am, but open by 10am I believe.

It was my first time at Summer House and I immediately fell in love with the vibe and the openness of the place when I walked in. I was meeting friends who were from out of town and they were running late. I was nervous because I thought we would lose our reservation but the hostess Kathy was really sweet and assured me that we would be okay. When my company arrived we were pleasantly surprised by Kathy to what I think is the best table at Summer House! We had the view of Lake Erie with the backdrop of downtown Cleveland, it was perfect! Our friends from Indiana loved the view and the food which I’ll go into next. Loved the menu selection and the food was great, we ordered the short rib flatbread, Michael’s favorite, lamb chops and shared the chocolate cake for dessert. We also ordered mocktails (tropical paradise) and cocktails ( strawberry thyme lemonade) from the drinks menu and I loved the presentation of the drinks, they were so pretty. My overall experience here was great, I will definitely be going back and I think it’s also a great restaurant to bring out-of-towners to experience the best of Cleveland’s food and views.

I can't believe I hadn't heard about this place. The restaurant is simply and beautifully decorated with a decent but limited view of the lake. The service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Our server, Kayla, was just the sweetest! We never had to wait for anything, and she never stopped smiling. I ordered the Steak & Eggs with a pancake instead of toast. Although I wish they used a fattier cut of steak and a hot enough broiler to add a little char, it was seasoned perfectly and cooked only a smidge past my requested "medium" doneness. Considering the menu, I feel they should have a more creative option than the rather tasteless and pedestrian shredded breakfast potatoes, but everything else was so good that I could forgive. My Pancakes came with a ramekin of homemade Strawberry Preserves, which I ADORED. Also, the Pancakes themselves were big, fluffy, and flavorful - with the golden brown crispy edges I love so much. We left full, happy, and moderately impressed. I'm already planning a return visit, and I'm excited about it! But this time, I'll request a window seat with my reservation.

Place with very nice view, but not so good food. I think happy hour or sunset is the perfect time to visit. Customer service could be better. I would like to go back on Sunday because I heard there is supposed to be live music.

I had a wonderful time here. Wonderful staff and service, i felt accepted, dined #disabilitysingle I had my first experience of caviar here as well as just sitting by the water and just having a magnificent view in Lakewood Ohio. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing me to come to your establishment #justasiam, I was actually stranded in Cleveland because of my job. So thank you. I didn't have much to change into. Recommendation: the Cabernet Sauvignon goes well with the caviar.

This is a beautiful place, beautiful family. The family photos are great, food was delicious. My favorite was the Brussel sprouts, I had the kebab platter... mixed it all together on the home made pita bread... yum! Everyone enjoyed there dishes, we passed around and tried everything. Beautiful views of Cleveland and Lake Erie. Our server Matt was awesome, friendly, attentive and informative. I'll be back, I hear the brunch is amazing.

My elderly aunt had never seen a Great Lake so we took a voyage. She didn’t expect a nice dinner and I didn’t expect one so wonderful! Excellent, tasty, perfectly prepared food from a menu loaded with choices. She used to cook for and run a nice NY restaurant—she said this was the best she’d tasted. And *the* most positive, friendly, attentive staff in a modern, inviting ambiance & design, lots of happy diners enjoying their company. Restaurants like to claim they make you feel like home. Few do. Summer House is our place on the Lake!

Fine dining on the lake at its best. Fine cuisine with a Mediterranean flair. Jude provided excellent service and the manager checked on us twice. I cleaned my whole plate - something I rarely do. We will absolutely be back! Glad we made a reservation - no wait for us once arrived. Pro tip to some of the guests: you should not be seated with a hat on. Take off the hat.

Wonderful dining experience overall at Summer House! The ambience and food were amazing, all dishes and beverages came out very promptly and with great execution and presentation. Our server was the perfect level of attentive and knowledgeable of the food, and other staff including the GM were aware and present in the restaurant, making the overall meal excellent. Music was just a bit loud for having conversation comfortably from across the table, but the restaurant was relatively busy and lively with other guests.

Delightful dining experience with the backdrop of Lake Erie! Food was excellent! For appetizers we got a cold shrimp cocktail (cocktail sauce was a bit too spicy for me, but the shrimp was fresh and tasty), lamb meatballs (delicious), and an order of clothes line bacon which was out of this world good. Several of us chose the walleye with pearl couscous. Outstanding and the portion of fish was generous! One person got the strip steak with mashed potatoes. Also a great choice for someone with seafood allergies.

This restaurant is on the first floor of a residential tower. The food was some of the best tasting food I have ever had. Delicious! I got the short rib. Sounds small. However, it was almost too much, but I managed to eat it all. The bar area is large and the drinks are perfect. I highly recommend it.

Summer's House is a contemporary styled restaurant located on lake erie with lots of art pieces and decor placed throughout the venue in memory of the owner's late son. The food and drinks were delicious and they offer a fusion style menu with plates ranging from Seafood to Mediterranean themed dishes. Most of the proceeds go to local and national charities who support children's health and medical research. The concept is very cool and it feels humbling to know that all of the money spent is going to an amazing cause. I highly recommend visiting Summer's House.

Really great brunch spot. Chicken and waffles were up there with some of the best chicken and waffles I've had in Cleveland. The wait staff was really friendly and attentive. They have a nice assortment of cocktails and coffees. Beautiful views of the lake while you're enjoying your meal.

My friend and I had a very tasty brunch and a great time today at The Summer House. The folks who work there are super nice and the lake view, beautiful! It's so great that they take reservations, as these days it seems a bit unusual. Most definitely, we will return.

The views and ambience push it to 5 stars. Food and service was good. Love the roasted cauliflower and the short rib portion shouldn't be underestimated.

What a dream. If you are lucky enough to get Joshua as your server, buckle up. He makes the entire experience one for the books. Delicious brunch options and being vegan I am always thankful to see clearly marked options. I sipped a pomegranate mimosa which was ahhhmayzing and the views?! I seriously felt teleported out of NE Ohio and into some luxurious resort. The decor inside was well thought out and I could not get over how cute all the plates, napkins, and cups were. I love those small details, the curation does not go unnoticed! I ordered the Fattoush salad (holy COWABUNGA this was great), a side of hash browns (which we all agreed were the best hash browns we have ever had??), and some fruit. We had a large group and made reservations ahead of time. All on one bill and then we reimbursed our friend who covered it directly. Large parking lot and easy to find! Lots of picnic tables overlooking the lake if you have to wait. Absolutely fantastic first experience at Summer House. All high marks from me!

Summer House will make you feel the summertime vibe any time of the year. This modern restaurant has one of the best views in Cleveland, coupled with great food, refreshing cocktails and a wine list that reads like War & Peace. To get in the summertime mood you'll love their cornbread appetizer and their cucumber cocktail.

Our experience at Summer Place was excellent! We had the Deviled Eggs, Clothesline Bacon, and the Cornbread for our Apps. The bacon was perfectly cooked - not to chewy, not too crispy, just right. I got the Porch Chop and it was one of the best I've ever had, in Cleveland or anywhere else. Attentive service, and nice atmosphere.
