Edit June 2023: Hate to do it but had to drop a few stars on my original review. Idk what has changed here but the pizza has become a bit of a drag. Incredibly greasy the last few times we have ordered. I enjoy greasy but I am talking about seeping through the box before I get home greasy. I’m talking about getting a slice and holding it vertically and literally ounces of grease coming off. It’s bad. Not sure if ingredients changed or what but it was almost inedible the last 3 pizzas we have ordered. Easily have spent hundreds of dollars here over the last 6 months but will be taking a break to see if things improve next time. ———————- Have been here 3 times now and wanted to wait until the 3rd pie to give it a real review. I am so glad this place is here. The pizza is fantastic. Love to fold a nice pie and get a perfect bite. Wings were really good as well, which seems hard to find in the land o lakes area. They have been slammed and I am really glad they are getting the business. Not even a complaint but the garlic knots weren’t that great. I would prefer they were more airy and doughy , more dense maybe. Looking forward to ordering again soon. Thanks for bringing some great pizza to the area.

My family and I tried The Pizza Pie for the first time. The pizza was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the toppings were not lacking, the pizza was hot, crust was on point! You can note the great quality and the authenticity of a true mom and pop pizza place versus a commercialized pizza joint. I also love that there are gluten-free options! Looking forward to making this establishment our new pizza joint!

The $6 lunch special is decent. 2 pieces of pizza and a soda. The pizza sits in the window for a long time, but at least they heat it up in the oven. I had the margarita pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza. Both were good. The price for a large cheese pizza is $15, which seems like a lot given the atmosphere. This isn’t a swanky place. It’s very bare bones and VERY narrow. There is barely room next to sit along the side and definitely not any room for a family. Get it to go or eat with one other person on the tiny high tops.

What a find! Coming from NY, we were worried about our pizza options. This place is great, authentic and personal. Pizza was delicious and real. Can't wait to try more from their menu.

Rosario makes the best pizza pies in town, hands down! The quality of food is amazing, you can tell that love is the main ingredient and service is top notch, From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and when you walk in it feels like you are in an authentic NY/NJ pizzeria. Sometimes they get swamped but have a bit of patience. It’s a small family owned & operated business. Everything good is worth the wait, especially the food here.

Pizza reminds of when I use to get pizza by the slice in key west near Ricks and Sloppy Joes. Two slices are all I can eat. I freeze the rest. I’m not just buying dinner but breakfast lunch and dinner. Ordered the spaghetti, that needs work. Atmosphere is 5 star if waiting for pizza. Owners always got a big hello. Good pizza, worth the drive.

Finally, after 24 years, I've found it. Actual N.Y. style pizza. It was the absolute best I've had in Florida. If you love pizza, this is a must try. You will not be disappointed. If I had 4 thumbs, they would get them all.

Found an absolute Gem right here in Land O'Lakes. If you were given a slice of this pizza without knowing where it came from, you would absolutely think NYC immediately. Amazing flavor, thin crust and cooked to perfection. I keep ordering a large pie with extra cheese and mushrooms. Every guest that I've had in my home that eats a slice raves about it and wants to know where I got it. Highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed!

I absolutely LOVE the pizza!!! First time and really did not know what yo order. I tried the XL special with garlic knots…AMAZING!! I am a born and raised NY gal and I must admit , I was truly impressed of the home experience. The woman that was up front was not yoo friendly and seemed to be bothered by my questions. I don’t think it’s necessary for me to say it was my first time to be treated with some courtesy.. but hey then I said NY pizza with the NY discourteous attitude

Hi there. I’d like to say that the Pizza Pie in Land O Lakes is hands-down, the best place to get pizza from a local shop. My husband and I pre-ordered 6 pizzas: (2) Pepperoni pizzas, (2) Cheese pizzas, (1) Margherita pizza, (1) Italiano pizza for Super Bowl Sunday, and they were ready for pick up at the requested time. Received hot and fresh and still looked that way right out the box once we got home. Slices for 18” are decent with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce ratio for each pie. The only downside on our end was that we didn’t take photos as the pizzas disappeared into the crowd of our guests. They had nothing but great things to say! All fellow travelers, and one also a citizen of Europe stated that the pizza beats some his locals in France. My only snapshot was of a late night slice being reheated and tasting absolutely phenomenal. Please keep making us smile, even with your pizza by the slice. 😋

Not your average "this pizza is the best in town" spot. It actually is the best pizza in town. You can taste the fresh tomatoes used in the sauce, high quality cheese that stretches like mozzarella should, quality toppings, and a crust that holds up to all the high quality ingredients. Stoked I found this place. It's a small shop not a ton of room for in door dining but the food is excellent.

Placed an order online for pick up when my husband got there the order was completely wrong. The man at the counter argued that that’s what he ordered. They didn’t offer to fix it. When he got home and we tried the pizza it was full of oil and had no taste the garlic knots were hard and also did not have a good garlic flavor. This is no New York style pizza except for the size of the slice. we will not be back.

Best pie I’m Tampa! We order every week and it’s always delicious. They make their own sauce and use quality cheese. You can really taste the difference here.

Whenever I'm in the area around lunch time we always choose to eat at "The Pizza Pie." They do offer a delicious menu and the prices are pretty affordable also. The lunch specials they offer are very affordable especially for the portion size you get! Highly recommend "The Pizza Pie"

Pizza was delicious, wings were outstanding! Very pleasantly surprised, got a large thin crust with several toppings and it was very good, wings were nice and big. We will be getting food from there again, what a great find for our little town!!

I can say with total honesty that this is the best pizza I've had. The crust is crispy and delicious, the sauce is flavorful with a great consistency. We ordered a Margherita pizza, the Works, and a Pepperoni. All 3 were so good, even the kids enjoyed it. The kids, who only eat domino's or hungry howies. I didn't even eat all my pizza before rushing over to write a review. The owners and their staff were so kind and welcoming. They thanked every person individually, several times for their business. The restaurant had a steady stream of patrons in and out and the phone continuously ringing with new orders. We will 100% be back for the best pizza around.

Super friendly, wonderful food and great service! Portions are pretty big, Calzones feed two people easy. Pasta could feed 1.5-2 people unless you’re a big eater and I can put down food. Define toy would go back, thanks!
