Al is very attention and detailed oriented on the classes and so are all the other instructors. The school is very family oriented, organized and clean. The school communications are pertinent and always focusing to provide the students the extra information needed to grow on the sport. I highly recommend Team Ramdori BJJ.

I have been a member of Team Randori for year and a half and I can tell you it's the best Martial arts academy in the area.I have trained at other places prior. Professional instructors , the best brazilian jiu-jitsu instructors from Brazil provide great instruction in the fun atmosphere. I love my Randori family. I am taking BJJ , women BJJ and Women's self defence. I never had an excuse not to go train because I feel motivated and like home. Academy is always clean and organized and student's safety is the number one priority. Also, competition team shows great results and it's been a pleasure to be a part of this team.. Training here is awesome. Everyone, instructors and students alike, has been super welcoming and supportive from day one. The culture here is collaborative and everyone genuinely wants to help their teammates grow. Add to that a clean and professional facility and a variety of class times and teaching styles, and it's hard to imagine training anywhere else. Team Randori is an extremely friendly, fun, and exciting environment. The coaches couldn’t be nicer. This is a fantastic place to challenge yourself and grow as a human being. I recently moved to the area and was worried about finding a new gym. Team Randori welcomed me with open arms. Training here is a must!

My kids have "grown up" under the teaching of this academy and they are better for it! This academy goes beyond doing a fantastic job at teaching jujitsu. The instruction by the owner and all the professors has taught my kids perseverance, resiliency, and the value of hard work...all while having fun!! I HIGHLY recommend!

From my experience, it is the best BJJ in the Annapolis area. Embodies the athletic spirit and family oriented. Coaches are always mindful of safety to yourself and the other students. Very happy to have made this gym my first gym in the BJJ world. If I didn't have to relocate, I would have continued my time with Coach Al and the team.

I visited Team Randori as a drop in for a class and was impressed by the well-paced, clear, and concise instruction provided. Finer details and subtle nuances to techniques were explained, which appeared to keep the higher belts engaged, but didn’t overwhelm myself or the other less experienced students with the complexity. It was a great atmosphere as well and I look forward to the next time I’m in the area so I can visit again!

Was with Team Randori for 6 1/2 years and loved every minute of it. The only reason I had to leave was a change in my work schedule. Top notch instructors and a fantastic, friendly, and positive environment. I highly recommend this gym to anyone wanting to learn a martial art and challenge themselves. I have been through a lot of martial arts gyms and schools over the years. Each one has a different culture and many are really hard as the new person. Team Randori is by far the most welcoming, friendly and safe experience that I have had. I am older now and have been away from martial arts for a long time. I hadn’t done Jiu-Jitsu before my introductory class so I had some concerns walking in. I was immediately at ease and enjoyed every second on my experience. Everyone looks out for everyone. You can feel it and know it.

Team Randori is an extremely welcoming and safe environment to practice BJJ! The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and really help you figure out how to make your own BJJ game plan based on you! For an individual sport, everyone works together as a team to help each other and it's just a pleasure to work with everyone there. I love training in this family environment and am so excited I found Team Randori to continue my BJJ journey! They are reasonably priced and have a ton of classes that fit just about every schedule.

This is the first school which I felt I was getting a private lesson the whole time I trained with Al and his team. From the initial lessons from Leandro to each person I worked with, I felt their intent to help me understand the techniques better. They compassionately understood my level as well as my age (55) and cardio limitations and helped my Jiu-jitsu abilities rise 1% towards my health and martial arts goals. Great job team Randori! I have no need or desire to search for a different school to train with whenever I am in Annapolis. P.S. For anyone considering Jiu-jitsu, just go to one of their classes. Getting there is the hardest part, but, you will not regret it.

I was nervous to start ju jitsu because I wasn’t very advanced but I feel like I walked in the perfect gym. Instructors had great personalities while also being able to teach a lot of different techniques, I never left a class without learning something new, If I wasn’t moving Team Randori would be my gym of choice. Um Dois Tres Equipe!!

I have nothing but great things to say about my years at Randori. The instructors are incredibly skilled, patient, kind, and talented at simplifying seemingly complex moves/concepts. The student body feels like a tight knit group of friends that makes for a stress free training environment. And the academy is painstakingly cleaned daily resulting in a pristine training mat. Randori is truly an outstanding BJJ academy!
