I love this place, incredibly local community focused. Owner lives in the community they serve. They always take care of local EMS providers. Food truck out back more than up to the challenge to meet your cravings for grub. Worth the wait and trip! Across from wholefoods in Annapolis and next to Meltingpot.

Two words: False allyship. I have as well as friends witnessed free coffee being given to police officers. It is convenient to post up black lives matter messages and then give free coffee to police. I like the coffee but will no longer be supporting this shop.

The coffee smoothies seem to be what the locals come for, and I can see why 👀 they are delicious! And the avocado toast was really good too 😩 I can’t wait to take all my friends here!!

OK, so let's start with great coffee and service! The place isn't foo-foo at all. Very basic with 2 seater tables. They sell their coffee, and it takes up a bit of room along one window. They offer some food and there's a food truck in the back. But back to the coffee... the two visits there, the wait for our order was short. They move very efficiently behind the counter. And we stayed at the Holiday Inn. Seriously, a 2ish minute walk, so wonderful convenience!! Two more days for us to enjoy...i encourage you to do the same.

Nice, compact coffee shop with a food truck in the back. The taste of the coffee is better than bigger franchises, but doesn't quite come close to the quality I've found at Ceremony. But that's fine. The staff are fast, friendly, and really welcoming. Food truck breakfast burrito is my jam. This place vibes.

I love this coffee shop. The Caramel Coffee Smoothie is my favorite. Plus I love the Black & White decor!

Good place to get work done. House brew is smooth. Drink it black Edit: coffee is still great, definitely gotten more expensive and way more crowded since 2018 when we lived nearby and it was on the newish side. Would no longer call it a “good place to get work done” based on the sheer number of people coming through the door (which means business is great 😁!) if you’re looking for a “laptop and lattes” day I would recommend the edgewater location which feels much less trendy and popular. I have yet to try the mad egg, but I have bought their coffees, their beans for my home espresso machine, and their swag (stickers, cups, clothing etc) and though it is all on the pricey side, I would say (respectively) it is all tasty, well roasted, and artfully designed 🤎 ☕️

I've loved their coffee for a while now. And frequently stop there to buy k-cups. Currently, I'm totally obsessed with their avocado toast and the sunset bowl. Both are OUTSTANDING! Not to be missed. 😋

I love the buzz of this place! My sister & niece introduced me to the brew! Clever package marketing. Friendly staff. Yummy beverages. Price paid for food value versus quantity is excellent. Those tator-tots - YUM!! I love supporting local small businesses. Only suggestion: T shirts & stickers - add city & state location is located.

I've found my new coffee shop!! Amazing breakfast burritos and sandwiches, large variety of menu options including bagels and avocado toast. The house coffee is remarkably good and so is the espresso. I love the atmosphere with both inside and outside seating, plenty of room and very clean. The customer service was top notch, friendly kind and fun! Don't miss this place, it's a gem.

Great food and coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches and tater tots are delicious. It can get quite busy so being able to order online is helpful. Also, they offer an "extra hot" option for their coffee order which I love.

Okay so…I grew up in NM where we have the best breakfast burritos, and most of the time the breakfast burritos I’ve had elsewhere are kinda meh. I think the Rise Up burrito I just tried from Rise Up’s truck out back is hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had in a decade, no exaggeration. And the red salsa is super flavorful and just spicy enough, *chefs kiss*!!! 🌶️ Their oat milk matcha is also really lovely; high marks across the board. Genuinely wish I could bring them back to the PNW with me, and by them I mean the entire food truck and the lovely, talented folks who created these beauties. Will definitely be back before I trek back home!! 10/10 recommend.

Tried it for the first time. It was soo good! The latte was very good. The 9 grain bread with cream cheese was my favorite. I went back again the next day. Fast service and good food.

I've been here 100xs over the years. Everytime, even when it's slammed busy, I'm welcomed with kindness and a smile. Their employees are warm, swift, and professional The rise up burrito will change your whole mood! Cheers to good people and great coffee!! 💙💙

Hands down one of my favorite coffee shops on my road trip from Rhode Island to California. This place was everything I needed from amazing service to fantastic food. Not captured in the photo is the moment I spilled some of my drink on me because I could not get enough of that delicious chai latte. The baristas are super insightful and helpful. Check this place out and perhaps it might make the top of your list too!

This coffee shop has always been a vibe. Their dirty chai is definitely in the top 10 of my list. Their customer service at this location and all the other locations has always been chill and friendly. Love chatting with the team. Cinnamon rolls as scrumptious and breakfast food always fills me up! 👌🏻🔥

This artwork was too cool to not post. Small coffee shop, but worth the long line. Medium latte has 2 shots of espresso, but small only has 1 shot. Plenty of syrups and sever sugar free options. Seasonal options looked intriguing (cinnamon toast crunch). We also tried a small frozen matcha. Once ordered, they had plenty of people working so it came quickly. Would absolutely return.

They work hard here and it shows. The coffee is great but what sets this place above are the breakfast burritos in my opinion. There are mornings that I wake up and crave them because they are so well done! The parking is a bit tight and the interior at the Annapolis location can get a little tight at times but the food and coffee are some of the best in Annapolis.

Accidentally became a local here since it's next to my brokerage. Phenomenal place. Staff are nice, lines can be long but clear very fast, and the food from the food truck is very good. The food itself may seem a bit expensive but it appears to be all natural, not filled with oils and butters. They also sell Carlson's Donuts which is a testament to how local this company is.

Charming decor, warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly faces! This was my first time visiting Rise Up, and it will not be my last. This morning crew was amazingly efficient with a crowd of patrons that stretched out of the door.

Staff was fast, friendly, helpful and efficient. Matcha was a solid 7/10, with not a particularly strong, clear or clean matcha flavor, but it was pretty good, and did not have an after taste. My friend got Chai and really liked it. Their avocado toast was also good, on the gluten free bread and I really liked the Pico on it.

The frozen hot chocolate here is beyond delicious. Thank you to my barista Liz for making me a great drink super quickly. Awesome service, and good vibes in the shop. Happy they use paper straws here as well. If you order food, make sure to pick it up at the food truck out back because that is where they prepare it.

This is likely the best coffee shop I have had the chance to visit in Maryland. I highly recommend the drinks and the food. I had the best maple latte I've ever had at this shop. Their lattes overall are great, including the chai. We had a burrito and a great muffin as well, absolutely no complaints there. This individual location is cramped with limited seating. Most seating is outside. This did not detract from the experience significantly.

I had their coffee before and it's always been top notch but I had never been myself. Today I placed an online order myself and accidentally sent it to the wrong location. Even though it was totally my fault they made my order at this location for me and I was out the door in minutes from when my order was supposed to be ready. I will be coming back whenever I can, I will go out of my way to come here because of the first impression they made. They have outstanding customer service and kindness.

Rise up is definitely worth the hype. I drove 30 minutes to check rise up out. I got an ice latte with an extra shot and oatmeal. It was made to perfection! Do we just sit on him green thing psych

Avacado toast 5 stars coffee is good, service was OK. Staff is not happy or energized. First time visit I didn't know food was outside at the food truck. When I asked "go outside?" (It's raining and cold) the girl gave me "rolled eyes/ yeah duh" attitude to rival my teenager. Not sure if it is the weather or just bad attitude. Will try again in better weather, maybe sunny sky's will get sunny attitude.

Used to love their cold brew for it being very smooth and enjoyable but the past couple of months it has been extremely bitter and acidic. My order hasn’t changed so I’m not sure what’s up with it. I never added sugar before and trying to add it now doesn’t improve the bitterness. I’ve tried at different times, weekdays and weekends, but it’s consistently off. Both here and Edgewater. I hope that it won’t be like this forever. I’ve also reached out via email about this to see if the quality can be improved so I can love their cold brew again
