Thanks for acknowledging my one-star review. I left the review because of multiple poor encounters with your gym. Your policies for cancelation are ridiculous, and, honestly, the team members who provide customer support are awful. You can keep your subpar gym. I'm so happy to no longer be a client!

The only good thing about this gym is that it's open 24/7. Equiptment is mid-grade, the gym in bayonet is much cleaner, and people are kinder. Staff always has a snarky attitude, especially the asian lady up front. I was told today I couldn't work out there because I was wearing crocs (they considered them sandals). Even though I work out at every planet fitness in the area with them/never had problems and other people were there with even more questionable shoes.

Everyone is so real. And the staff is excellent.dan n Ashlee were amazing and this place is so put together in every way. I really love it. I'v never worked out in a gym bc I be was insecure but not here!!!;; Real people real helpful staff and real affordable.

I came in with a visitor pass and was looking forward to joining the gym. I was barely greeted when I arrived (maybe she was having an off day.) Then on the pass it said I would have to take a tour, great! I could learn all that Planet Fitness has to offer! Not so much. I was told to sign the waiver and then that was it. I asked where I could put my belongings and she told me the women's locker room was off to the left. I'm not new to gym's (thankfully) but I was new to this facility and was disappointed. This was a missed opportunity to get a new customer.

For as long as I've been a member at the New Port Richey gym.I've been disgusted by the condition of the womens locker room/restroom. The black toilets and sinks are the ugliest I've ever seen. But, it's the lack of cleanliness that's the true issue. Full trash cans, dirty sinks, pee on toilet seats, etc. Unacceptable, especially when I often see two employees at the front counter just chatting with each other. This is not a one time problem, it's almost every time I come. How about having an employee check the bathroom every 30 minutes and a quick clean up??

Super friendly staff. They have a trainer on site all of the time. I love the gym as a whole. Ive been approached by other members of PF and they've made me feel welcome. If you have a black card membership which isn't much from $10 of the regular, you can use massage chairs and get access to their tanning spa in the gym. I highly recommend that membership because who doesn't love a massage right after their workout. One of their rooms are made so, Incase you don't know what you want to workout, you got 30 minutes of a premade workout in the room and I love using it to my advantage 3 days a week. The gym is clean all the time, the staff are always on top of any spills, and I'm always being welcomed from when I walk in to when I walk out. They have lockers and showers. You bring in your own lock or pay $5 to use one of theirs. I personally haven't had an issue with leaving my stuff in a locker without a lock. There are trustworthy people that go there. Everybody is respectful and cleans up after every use of equipment! I have been a member of family fitness and premier choice gym before, and I honestly will never go back. I've been with PF for a month so far. I love planet fitness!!

Update: Per the owner, the staff (Lisa) does not even know the gym policies. Per Lisa, it is okay for members to have loud phone conversation in the gym as long as it's not more than 10 minutes. It is also okay for members to cus you put for asking thenlm to speak quieter on the phone. Very disappointed.

Brought a guest as part of my expanded Black card membership and was embarrassed by the management and staff when told my guest could not use all of the facility benefits of my membership. Rather than allow my guest to join me in the chair massage my guest was embarrassed and humiliated. Management and the desk person chiming in gave me a "splanation" that was completely dissatisfactory. Completely lost my confidence. A 7 minute massage chair was not worth the time and effort of the 10 minutes of humiliation that my guest and I suffered. Bad job Planet Fitness.

I’ve been going to this gym for awhile now with my son and unlike many gyms I’ve been to in the past this planet fitness isn’t as strict as what you hear about online. Yes the free weights only go up to 75lbs and the 4 smith machines they have there are usually always taken unless you go early in the morning however I’ve never had an issue with the lunk alarm and the staff is very friendly. And from my own personal experience the place is clean and welcoming and usually the people that workout there are also pretty friendly. Take note this isn’t a bodybuilding gym however the staff have no issues with you using your own ingenuity to get the work done as long as you respect the equipment as well as the other gym goers honestly this particular gym has changed my entire opinion on planet fitness’s and this specific location is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to and they have better equipment than anytime fitness.

I have seen some members BLOCK THE DUMBBELLS RACKS BY STANDING TOO CLOSE TO THE RACKS AND WORK OUT THERE. THIS CREATES SAFETY ISSUES TO OTHER MEMBERS ( IF dumbbells falls accidently) or block access to racks). MY Suggestion IS THAT 4 FT AREA ALONG THE DUMBLLESS RACKS GETS MARKED BY A RED OR YELLOW LINE AND GETS SHADED OR Colored TO INDICATE ITS ONLY AN ACCESS ISLE OR MOVING TRAFFIC ( NOT BENCH OR SIT OR STAND THERE ). MMITSOMETHING VERY AFFECTIVE i have learned from military gyms.

I have been a PF customer for several years and never had an issue. I recently moved to Pasco County and changed gyms to the Little rd. Location. If you use any of the black card amenities I’d suggest finding a different location. The employees are more worried about socializing vs. helping their clients. On a side note, there lobby smells like cigarettes.

Way to many aerobic machines that never in use ! Small and machined are crowded together in main area - No incline bench which is ridiculous! Doubles of other machines where you normally only find one of in other locations like the pectoral fly and the Biceps curl Staff could be more friendly - never say welcome 30 minute workout is the best part of this small gym

people do focus on their workouts. Sure there occasional old school weights but has lots of new equipment. I just wish they would fix that broken glass window. It has a plywood cover for over a year. about time to fix it

No frills but has everything that I need. Pros: •There are always plenty of treadmills, etc available. •Weight machines are usually open, or the wait is short. •Locker room is clean. (They just finished remodeling them) •The weight machines that put your body into compromising positions are separated by a wall so others can't stare at you. •Open 24 hours! •They have a Personal Trainer on staff now. Cons: •Many people don't honor or understand the 30 minute Circuit. •Squat racks are always taken. •Only 7 minutes at a time on the Hydromassage and massage chairs. It should be 15-20. •No big digital clock on the wall to time sets and rest.

The assistant manager Ashley is completely incompetent. I called to cancel my account because I do not use the membership due to heavy police activity in that area, I just don’t feel safe. According to Ashley, if you want to cancel your membership you will need to either go in person, or write a letter. Which makes it very difficult. I asked to speak to the GM and she told me they were on vacation, and refused to give me her work contact info and told me to call back next week. I then asked if she could send me a copy of my contract I signed and she refused. Asked to get the owners email or contact and she advised me that I wasn’t getting any higher than her and the Manager. Classy! The place is ran by a bunch of children. Needless to say, the customer service sucks and I’ll be damned if I spend another dime here! Update: Manager Jamie called, had zero remorse for her assistant managers unprofessionalism and her inability to answer questions regarding membership cancellations. In fact made excuses for her and said “I don’t know, maybe she was in a bad mood”? Also, asked to contact the owners and was told by the manager that she is trained to handle all issues and that the owners don’t get involved. I then asked for corporates number or email and she said she couldn’t give me that info. If you have a problem don’t expect it to get fixed.

All new and updated equipment. They have a separate black card room with more relaxing music. Bella and Sawyer topped it off with professional and friendly customer service. This franchise has out shined corp facilities.

I love coming to this location because it's always clean and every employee is so nice. I go around the same time and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I see them always doing something, cleaning, helping other people. It's nice to see so I asked for their names. So thank you Daniel & bella you both are awesome.

Always very clean, staff is friendly, only issue is if you go at night time sometimes the workers are not always present to approve you to go on massage chairs or even buy a protein shake. Other than that they are a very good, nice, and clean gym.

I try to visit different Planet Fitness , they are all beautiful, but so far I found the one in Springhill to be the best. Their showers have their own changing rooms attached and it's nice not having to walk out the shower in a towel getting the floor all wet going to the changing area.. they should make all bathrooms like that..

I switched to the Holiday location a few years ago so it's been a while since I've been to this location. Coincidentally enough, the same construction on a torn down wall with yellow tape and ply wood to cover is still in the same condition it was last time I was there. The energy feels dark and gloom. My visit on friday night was nothing but outstanding however, due to the refreshing kind representive Anthony. He was very knowledgeable about products, personable and went over and beyond to assist me with my needs. Just want to make sure he knows knows he's appreciated !

I’m new to Newport Richey and new to Planet Fitness! This location is absolutely awesome. It is VERY CLEAN and equipment works! The night staff are amazing! Curtis shows awesome hospitality from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. He ensures you have a great experience, always friendly and compassionate to ALL of the Planet Fitness members. He actually knows everyone who comes in and in return you will hear them laugh or share a word of encouragement! He is phenomenal and would make a great manager or franchise owner of a PF. He truly cares. The other night staff, I believe is Gary! He is super sweet and ensures you are doing well and ensures members are good. He always has a warm and friendly smile 😊 Ian keeps the locker rooms very clean and maintained. It’s important to come to gym that is clean, organized , and the staff especially at night are friendly and helpful! I also had the pleasure of meeting Tammy the new personal trainer. She is super friendly and I had just started a new job and she gave me such positive words of encouragement!!!! Thank you that made my day!!!!! Keep rocking it out it is NOT going unnoticed!!!

If you have a stomach do not use this piece of equipment. It does nothing for you.

Became a Black Card member after being unsatisfied with my experience at another gym in the past, and every negative thing that i had to say about them has been assuaged here! Staff are very friendly and completely honest about the memberships terms and conditions. It feels like they are present as friendly assistants instead of sleazy salesmen. Their machines are well maintained and cleaned. Theres a good culture around cleaning up after yourself, and the staff will often be seen making the rounds with paper towels and soap. Theres also multiple of nearly every machine, so if one is broken you arent without it for your workout. One of my biggest fears stepping into planet fitness was the "Lunk Alarm" but I have never seen the thing go off. The owners of this franchise have either fine-tuned the sensitivity or turned it off entirely, and i appreciate it greatly!

Equipment is well maintained. The locker room is clean, and the staff is friendly. I enjoy this location. The only thing missing is a weight scale in the locker room.

In late December I went online and signed up for a day pass. My dad got sick shortly after and we went to visit him out of state. Now I went back to use the day pass, after trying other gyms which gave three day and seven day free passes. The gal at the desk tells me the day pass expired and it will now be $20 for a one time visit even though it’s only $10 for the whole month! She said it is impossible to redo the day pass or to let me use the facilities for free now even though the gym was over half empty. I thought she was joking until she walked away from the counter. So then I asked her for the manager but apparently there are no managers at 5 PM on a Friday! Terrible service and made my decision easy to go to a different gym.

I always feel comfortable at this location. There's a great place to get a quick workout or spend a couple of hours if I have the time.

Very kind,professional open 24 hours. ALOT of parking,with well lit up parking lot. Very clean inside with a HUGE layout plan. Massage and hydro beds. Plus wheelchair acceptable ,candy and tons of pens.

They keep it clean and are friendly. The problems I see is they don't control the 30 min workout zone at all which creates issues for those who use it. I personally gave up on the 30 min zone due to people getting very nasty. I also wish they would reduce the cardio equipment by 25% and add more to the free weight dumbell section. The cardio is way to much space and is never more then 3/4 full.

From the online sign up process to my first visit was a fantastic experience. The friendly staff at the Little Rd. Port Richey location was super friendly and very helpful. I'll be a long term black card member for sure.

Love this Planet Fitness. So clean, great front desk staff. I love the HydroMassage and the tanning as a bonus to my workout.
