After
the
Covid
pandemic
it's
been
very
difficult
to
find
a
reliable
doctor
that
can
spare
more
than
a
very
brief
time
discussing
health
history
and
an
accumulation
of
various
complaints
attributed
to
a
traumatic
life
going
back
(what
seems
like)
centuries.
It
was
refreshing
to
get
a
recommendation
to
see
Dr
Jack
Ogden
-
even
though
having
to
travel
to
see
him
for
quite
some
distance
-
the
relaxed
ambience
was
well
worth
the
effort.
To
find
a
total
gentleman
doctor
complete
with
empathy,
consideration
for
my
aging
years,
and
with
an
appreciation
of
the
quirks
that
come
with
such
a
state,
was
like
being
in
the
heart
of
the
Sahara
and
striking
gold.
After
years
of
travelling
the
world
as
a
journalist
and
having
to
deal
with
despotic
regimes
where
more
often
than
not
you
have
to
suffer
exceptional
indignities,
to
know
there's
still
an
attentive
and
efficient
medical
ear
residing
in
Bristol
is
in
itself,
life
giving.
Dr
Ogden
was
a
fountain
of
knowledge,
highly
effective
and
a
breath
of
fresh
air.
I
could
not
sprinkle
praise
more
supremely
in
the
direction
of
this
remarkable
doctor.
At
no
point
did
I
feel
under
pressure
to
round
things
up
as
my
time
was
nearing
its
completion
point.
My
time
was
my
time.
Therefore,
to
round
this
review
up,
when
in
need
of
such
a
person,
do
not
walk
in
his
direction,
run
towards
this
sparkle
of
hope.
