What an amazing stay in the lodge. Perfect spot to celebrate a birthday with friends. Absolutely beautiful lake and comfortable accommodation. Karen the owner couldn’t be more helpful. Highly HIGHLY recommended!

Karen Would just like to give a big Thank you for allowing myself and my friend to fish on the 29th November. Been looking forward to fishing there for a while now and was not disappointed. The venue is absolutely fantastic and met all of our expectations. It was bitterly cold but we managed to catch that nice Pike pictured on your Facebook page. Location is just perfect, parking close by and superb toilet facilities which are a real bonus. A beautiful tranquil place in outstanding surroundings. Will definitely be returning and hopefully in the near future. All the best Colin

Amazing. I mean what a hidden gem. Beautiful place to fish, beautiful place to be. Karen and her son are absolutely wonderful people. They are super helpful and in general happy to welcome you. Very weedy all swims overgrown platforms unsafe and falling apart. The owner has set aside almost half the lake as his garden with a no fishing sign. The photo board is full of photos of the same 6 fish. Didnt see any signs of carp whatsoever and i was there 12 hours. Spoke to a night angler who was also there 12 hrs he never caught a thing either. Wont be returning in a hurry unless they tidy the place up and make all the swims accessible / available.

4 of us had arranged to do 24 hours and we were told the lake was ours as they only allow 4 over night. After 2 of us made a 2 hour drive we turned up to find 3 people fishing leaving only 4 swims free. We were then told one is also doing the night with us??? We booked the lake for a social and we were told it's ours? No apology whatsoever so we went to Tanyards in Sussex. Glad we did :)
