Went here today with my brother after recommendations and high praises from a friend. I was initially sceptical as buffets tend to be low quality at low prices. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the amazing food at such great prices! I had the oxtail and curry goat, which was flavourful and not full of bones. The meat was fall off the bone and seasoned great. I also had the peppered prawns which had a lovely spicy kick to it and was super juicy! The fried chicken was seasoned well along with the Mac & cheese. The rice and peas was super tasty also seasoned well. Caribbean restaurants have a bad reputation for bad service. Not here. Our server was lovely and helpful. Regretting that I didn’t get her name because I would like to sing her praises! (Cashier/server who was working 24th November at around 1:30pm) The chefs were also lovely. It was good vibes. Good decor. Each table had the name of different Jamaican parishes which was a lovely touch and the music selection was great! The only cons I have are, I wish my stomach was bigger so I could have gone for seconds and thirds!! And I wish they had more kidney beans in the rice & peas and maybe add some gungo peas. A terrific premium experience that is authentic as well as value for money. I got a large oxtail and rice, and it wasn't rammed full of rice with a drop of meat in the corner. Not many places you can sit down with a few friends and enjoy traditional carribean in pleasant surroundings. Could do with some background music to complete the overall experience.

I visited with my Son to try the buffet. They were very busy, I'd say probably overwhelmed, however the food was good. I don't feel the buffet was value for money but that's my own fault, I just couldn't eat more than 2 plates. The mac n cheese, Oxtail and fried chicken was very Flavoursome. I also enjoyed the chilli prawns which were probably a tad too hot but the flavour spot on. I'd visit again if I was in the area.

Really enjoyed this newly discovered spot, we loved the Jamaica vibes/ ambience of the setting and the food was delicious ( halal ). Can’t wait to revisit in the summer and see this place buzzing. Loved the Jamaica parish names on each of the tables too ;)

It was a good experience. I think that they should move the buffet from where it is, so the queue and the food were not located at the same place. The food was really good overall. The vibes of the staff was very loving and worked as quick as possible regardless of little staff and a busy restaurant. I would suggest that they could sell jugs of juice instead of different bottles. I am definitely going to recommend this restaurant and I am excited to see it grow. :)

The food was extremely tasty, which I ordered Mac and Cheese and Curry Goat. It also arrived on time and the food was hot and was packaged well. The reason for 4 stars, is in my opinion the portion size of the meat was small, I ordered a large curry goat and comparing their portion size and price to other places, it was smaller. It looked like a regular portion size. But I do recommend to order from here, I believe I will order again in the future, but I'll avoid the curry goat meal and will order a different meal.

Needed a bite to eat with my friend. We came across 876 Uptown. OMG I AM SO PLEASED we came here - food was delicious and fresh. The owner made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Got a great vibe in here, reminds me of Jamaica and that’s a good feeling. Please if you are in area pass by you will not regret it. Visiting again for sure

The detail of the shop is very unique and bright!! The food is amazing and the flavours are spot on!! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves food and I will be going back again!!

Let me tell you this place is amazing the food is bomb and finger licking the workers are very welcoming very clean environment I defo recommend this restaurant and I will defo will be coming back with my family and friends.

Got a table even though they were busy and we hadnt booked. Staff were friendly, music was excellent. Had the £20 buffet and everything from the rice to the jerk sauce was good. Managed 2 plates and i thought that was good value for money. Will definitely go again but will book next time so we're not next to the door.

This was a last-minute booking for a youth football team and parents. They did a wonderful job with food and service. The kids really enjoyed it, and there was something for everyone. Not one complaint. It's worth the price, would attend again

The food was well cooked and very tasty real authentic Jamaican cuisine.. we enjoyed the food and experience very much... highly recommend.... music in the background gave the aura of being in Jamaica..... staff was very professional and welcoming.... would definitely go back ....but recommend to reserve table in advance as it gets really busy.... great value for money.......
