Homemade Kerala-style Paratha with nadan beef ularthiyathu and fish masala. Delicious and worthy to be recommended.

Extremely good food. The only genuinely Malayalee restaurant for miles around. Very friendly staff. Parking can be slight problem. The menu could do with a bit more variety. Slightly pricey compared to other curry places, BUT, do not think if this as just another curry house. Definitely recommend!

Visited the restaurant on the 1st day of the New Year. Pros 1) The wait staff was very friendly and polite. 2) The food was nice. Particularly the Appams and the Prawn 65. 3) The Butter Chicken and Chicken 65 was good too. 4) Much better than other Indian Restaurants like Gulshan or Mamataz Grill who serve rubbish food. Cons 1) The chicken biryani was nothing to talk home about. 2) The dishes are little on the pricier side considering the portions. Verdict: Definitely visit for good Indian Food with great Indian hospitality.

Me and my wife have been waiting for red chillis to open back up again for a long while and we wasn’t disappointed when we went for dinner the other night. The food was amazing, especially the prawn 65, a must have! And the staff are so friendly and polite. A lovely atmosphere for food and wine, we love this place and so will you.

Spur of the moment decision but it was the best Indian we have had. You could taste it was all freshly cooked. The bhajis and breads were especially gorgeous. The service was brilliant, very friendly and passionate about their food. Thoroughly recommend it.

Nice to have south Indian food on offer - the dosas are large and there’s a lot of variety. Dosas could be a little crispier and the chutneys and accompaniments need more spice ‘zing’ but service is good and the restaurant is clean.

Absolutely delicious food, loads of vegan options too. One of the nicest Indian meals I’ve had in a long time. Would recommend to anyone. Child friendly and lovely staff.

Attended the vegan night and enjoyed it immensely. Great value for money and lovely food! With a whole range of starters, mains and desserts. Will definitely be back again

5☆ all round. Authentic, perfectly cooked food, beautifully presented. Staff are passionate about the food and have every right to be proud of it. Restaurant is clean and well maintained, lovely laid back atmosphere. Very good value, cannot fault this place.

Went here for a last minute early dinner and can safely say it was a delicious meal the food is outstanding and the staff were so friendly and talked me theough any menu questions. The food tasted clean and didn't get that bloat feeling. We went on a Monday so very quiet which was a bonus but I've driven past later in the week and it's so busy . My fav new restaurant

Enjoyed the Dosa meal today but the prices are double that of other places we have had Dosa. Even Saravanaa Bhavan served us fresh crispy dosas - half the price and more variety of chutney with it. But, to be fair though the Food was fresh but to pay over the top !!! I will have to reconsider my decision to go again

Amazing food! Brilliant atmosphere! The owner makes you feel so welcome and is always happy to explain how the dishes are cooked and gives you a good idea of what to expect if you are unsure of what to order. This is a hidden gem! They also have tables and chairs outside to enjoy a drink or two on a warm summer evening.

Nice looking restaurant inside, friendly staff, not busy when we went there midweek. Disappointing food overall really. Expensive main course dishes considering how much chicken/ prawns were given. Different from your usual Indian food in a good way but on the whole not value for money.

Used to be very good but has gone majorly downhill. Ordered 3 different dishes for 35 to take away and received 3 watered down things that all looked and tasted exactly the same, and to add insult to injury, the tiny plastic containers were only about half full of the liquidy slop. Flavourless as well. Don't recommend and take your money to Yak and Yeti. Down the road and WAY BETTER FOOD AND VALUE.

Great food and service to match. I ordered from the takeaway menu this time round. I have previously dined here but that was pre Covid. This is a very expensive Resturant in comparison to other Indian restaurants in the area. Grandma chicken curry Coriander Chicken Aloo Gobi This small order was close to £40 and apart from the aloo gobi, the portion of the other dishes were small. I didn’t realised at the time but after reviewing the menus, I can definitely see that there was an error with the price. Too late now though!

My daughter and her bf, who are both Vegan had been nagging me to try out this Goan restaurant in Westcliff for some time. I can only say huge praise for the range of dishes and quality of Indian options. I tried a potato Dosa as starter and Green Mango white fish as a main, with Okra and a special rice as sides. It was all outstanding. The best Indian food I have ever tasted. The owners who are also servers on the night I went, are excellent hosts. A huge gem locally.

First time here. Wonderful delicious food and the service was excellent. I had a fish curry in a banana leaf. Fish was tender and tasty. Will certainly go again.

We are so lucky to have this level of Keralan cuisine available in Southend. Every flavour and spice tastes fresh and clear in this food, you can taste the pride and care taken in preparing every dish we have tried so far. There is a good variety of dishes on the menu to explore. Our favourites are the dosas of course, the gobi (cauliflower) 65, the kappa (tapioca), perfect spirally paratha and all of the fish dishes. This is not a boring Anglo-indian curry house, this is a slice of proper regional South Indian cuisine which is so much lighter with refined distinct flavours, yet very satisfying.
