Church of St. St. Peter's is a church in Brighton. It is located in the very core of the city. It was built in the first half of the 19th century and is an excellent example of the pre-Victorian Gothic Revival style. Definitely worth a visit.

Spectacular venue for concerts, unfortunately the sound is appalling. Suspect it's the building that is causing the problem with the high vaulted ceiling rather than the sound engineer.

Amazing sound, unique venue and friendly staff. Not sure if it's a full time church as well but if so "Kudos" to those involved 😎🙌

A church with a big heart for the vulnerable. Many amazing things go on in the building apart from Sunday services which are well attended. Come and join us if you want to see God's work in Brighton. We have coffee, food and amazing muscians.

Warm, cosy Christmas Eve Service, into Christmas Day- ended a few minutes into Christmas Day; timely and convenient, killed two birds with one stone. Communion with 'non alcoholic wine', though;not so authentic, but managed with faith!

I just love the welcome here, all ages well catered for. Terrific talk from Toby on last visit. They have great AV systems really up to date. Altogether an uplifting experience for everyone.

Good looking venue for gigs but the acoustics need some attention. It's a bit boomy on the bass end which rather drowns out the other frequencies. The light show was unimaginative.

Amazing service! Very friendly! I cried most of the way through the service because I was so overwhelmed by how good the worship time was.

Great worship. New leaders hard to swallow as was manipulative talk on giving. Worst of all, not a single person spoke to us. Not even those with badges saying ' welcomer'. More of the htb franchise.

Friendly welcome, awesome worship and amazing testimony from curate Emily. Familiar, as we were visiting from HTB Derby, but with added quirks, which we enjoyed. And that acoustic.......wow, heavenly ❤

Absolutely appalled at what happened to me on Saturday. I walked into this church only to be told that I wasn’t allowed to be there nor given the five minutes I NEEDED that day to drop to my knees and worship because the space was being rented out to a children’s play. Instead I walked out and dropped to my knees in tears of pain from what i had experienced. my name is Harry Haynes. From serious mental health struggles, multiple drug addictions and potential suicides. Jesus has saved my life. How are other expected to be saved if you are telling me and others that I cannot walk into a sacred building and worship? I was told to come back tommorow (Sunday service) in order to meet with Jesus once more. I’m sorry but if I was in a state of desperation in which soo many in Brighton are, what may that tell me and what could have been the outcome from that? I cannot believe it’s come to this. Brighton is in a desperate state and it comes across like this church is more interested in making sure it’s space is rented out during the week than allowing those that need Jesus the most to walk in a receive him. Expect an email from me. I will not stop until something is done about this incredible issue or at least somebody explains to me why I was soo coldly turned away.

It was my first time at St Peter’s on Sunday. It was like attending a rock concert where God is the star! I couldn’t help but be moved to tears with the band, the curate’s readings, and the kindness of the congregation. All my troubles just flowed out of me, and I felt a warm hand on my back from the woman next to me, who started praying for me. It’s impossible not to be completely moved by this Sunday service. I walked out of there a different person. This is my church from now on.

We had a great night last night, seeing the legendary Roy Ayres in concert but I wouldn't recommend this venue. You can put up with the poor acoustics and the lack of ventilation and temperature control but the toilet facilities are unacceptable. A cluster of unsupervised, portaloos in the street, open to the passing public, with the women having to walk past the men's open latrines, affording no-one any privacy, safety or respect, isn't good enough. People shouldn't be treated in this way, especially when paying for the privilege! Two stars for the friendly staff!

Great modern church with sound doctrine on the day I've visited, the sermon was about "Praying in the closet" spending time alone with God and also repenting. But there was a song of the secular group Coldplay "Higher power" played before the service which I didn't find appropriate in the house of God.

Anyone really is so welcome here, I was blown away by the instant feeling of kindness, love and acceptance. The Sunday 10.30 service is remarkable, akin to the feeling of Lightness and joy I get from the AGAPE services in LA. The head vicar Archie and the team are amazing, really recommend the Alpha course, too, for anyone with one or many questions to ask on religion, Jesus and all else. 🙏💞

A beautiful old church being restored. Holy Trinity Brompton service's right in the centre of Brighton. Need a sense of peace? Try it.
