Absolutely superb; top quality customer service and great food. Little bit of a funky system to order, you get a notepad and a pen and you just write down what you want and hand it to geezer when he walks past - took us a minute to figure out what was going on (guess we’re not the brightest) but is a great system because you can just take your time and order what you like whenever you want. The food comes out really quickly too. What I also loved was that he came back over to tell us we’d ordered way too much food, which he didn’t need to do but it saved on so much waste. And you only need to take a look at the 1 star reviews to notice how psychologically unstable the people who don’t like this place are… some weird people around in woolwich I guess.

It wasn't so busy when we went there. The food was nice and fast. Various menus to choose from. Good options for vegetarians. Definitely worth for the price point.

A small narrow place. Easily missed not much to look from the outside. However, inside is a different story. It always seems to be packed. Lots of delicious foods on the menu. We came as a large group and it was an excellent experience. The staff are efficient and quick. Will I return? For sure.

Offering great value for money, this cozy eatery delivers an authentic taste of Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine that's hard to find elsewhere. The friendly staff adds to the inviting atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. With a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including some delightful surprises, every visit promises a new culinary adventure. While a couple of dishes were a tad spicier than expected, they were still incredibly flavorful, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to delivering authentic and delicious fare.

🌱 We were looking forward to Kailash Momo after reading the reviews. The staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience. For example we were missing cutlery on our table and when I asked for it, the waitress said (not in a nice way) we should just take it from the next table. The Jhol Momos lacked flavour. We've had much better ones before. The Chilli momos were spicy but other than that it had very little flavour. We left a little disappointed and ended up finishing our dinner in a restaurant just around the corner (Maya DD's, which we loved). Personally, we wouldn't visit again.

Kailash is my favourite restaurant! Such a hidden gem. I have worked in the area for years and never knew about it until a few months ago. Since then I have gone back countless times to try man of the flavoursome and colourful dishes. Not once have I been disappointed!! If you go I promise you won't be disappointed, however if you're not a spice person please ask about the dishes as some have quite a spicey kick. ( Which I personally love!)

Absolutely loved the food! Was craving MoMos and was pleased with the overall food quality. Ordered chilli paneer, spicy fried veg momos, pork momos, veg noodles and a cold beer! Loved the taste of the food but missed the spicy peanut sauce found in some Nepalese restaurants for the momos but sauce was OK.. Only negative was when I asked the momos to be half and half. Wanted a mix of chicken and pork, same price per portion of 10, but was politely declined by waitress. 😌 Definitely coming back for more!

Had different foods, the opinion is mixed about them. Alltogether it was okay, but really far from the catarctic experience, and the staff kindness was also neutral at best.

The first time I’ve tried Tibetan food, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant felt cozy and very authentic. The spicy fried momo and the green beans were excellent - highly recommend. I also got the platter of various plates but was not wowed by it. If I were to go back, I’d focus more on the momo’s and the starters which were excellent!

As the name says, a must go place for momo lovers. The momos/dumplings are the first thing to begin with. The noticeable thing is that every item on the menu is with a picture to entice your taste buds as well as give you a glimpse of what to expect. The place has a nice authentic vibe to it. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Overall a must visit place for the ones craving for momos in London.

The food here is traditional Nepalese style cooked. Not very expensive and the food is worth every penny you spend there. I loved the momos , especially the chilli momos. I went in with zero expectations after seeing their entrance, thinking it is a small business I shouldn't expect more. But it is one of those examples where you say don't judge a book by it's cover.

Amazing place. Not so busy, great value and really really tasty. Highlights were the various momo and the crazy fried chicken, will definitely be going back.

My first visit; as the name suggest the restaurant generally offers variety of momos stuffed fillings with chicken, pork and vegetarian options. There momos are very tender and outer layer has crisp to it as it’s well captured the essence of Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine.

Food is great value for money! Would recommend chilli momos!! Worth a trip, but recommend pre-booking, as the place tends to get busy, especially on weekends.

Wow where to begin on this place! For someone who likes sticking to the same pallet of food I was nervous at first about dinning here but I was definitely not disappointed. The food was nice a fresh and they curries were some of the best curries I’ve ever had ( especially the chickpea potato one ) even the sauces on the side were absolutely delicious. The bread was nice and freshly baked , rice was soft and perfect. Staff are nice and place looked beautiful. Definitely now a go too 100 percent recommend .

Probably the best tibetan restaurant in London. The food is great, atmosphere even better. Try the dishes they recommend. Momo is a speciality and the aloo baley is not to be missed. Plenty of options for mains.

After hearing so much good from people about this Momo's place, we(4 friends) planned a dinner outing last week. Tried veg Momo's, fried chicken Momo's, Thukpa, Chilli chicken, Sel Roti and Alu achar, Chicken Chowmein and Nepalese Gurkha beer What we liked most: Chilli Chicken, Veg Momo's, Thukpa, Gurkha beer. You should definitely order these items What disappointed us: Chicken Chowmein, Sel Roti, Fried Chicken Momos and Laphing. Chowmein was bland, Sel Roti was good in itself but the chutney and Alu achar was freezing cold and tasteless. Fried Chicken momos had highly oily taste. Service was quick and staff is friendly. Good to dine out. Not any wow factor, don't keep your expectations high.

We had a bad dine in experience. The lady with glasses was rude. She misunderstood our order and then rudely denied to replace it. She was constantly trying to put the blame on us. Whenever we called her (to place more orders/for the menu etc) she seemed a bit annoyed. But no complaint with the food. The behaviour of the staffs should be improved.

Wonderful authentic food, one of those hidden cultural gems in London. Family from Tibet and Nepal run the restaurant and they are kind and friendly hosts. Good clear menu with photos, easy to order - we wanted to try all the dishes. We ended up choosing the Lamb Thali set and Pork Thenthuk, and both were delicious, with a unique delicacy to the flavours. Good value. We travelled across London (on the new Elizabeth Line) to visit this place, and loved it. Want to return as soon as we can.

Incredibly good food at very reasonable prices. The dumplings were incredible, I could eat them all day! The chicken thali was delicious, it came with rice, garlic spinach, spiced peas and potatoes, a chili sauce, a dahl and the curried chicken. We also ordered bread for dipping and it was so yummy. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.

I was so dissapointed in food yesterday. So me and my friend frequently eat here but the food was so dissapointing yesterday. The golgappas water tatsed like bleach and the chilli momos were kinda sweet the only good thing was the chicken chowmein.

Eating here has been an absolute pleasure. The service and the food was excellent. 100% recommended!

Its a nice place with good food . Especially the Momos and other Tibetan dishes . We tried the steamed chicken momo, jhol momo, lamb stew with a bun and chicken fried rice. We ordered the lamb fried rice first but the lambs were very chewy so they immediately changed it . The improvement could be , someone should explain the dishes . The lady juts gave the menus and a order book and expected us to write the number . We had to call her twice to ask for details .

We so wanted to give Kailiash 5 stars but we couldn’t - they forgot my husbands food. They were very apologetic when I went to the bar and his food was delicious, when it arrived. My vegetarian Thali was very tasty but the small price of poppadum was stale. The other strange thing was the curried land starter, our first piece was cold but every other bit was warm - the flavour was amazing. I have to give four stars because what we ate was very good.

I went to Kailash Momo because I really miss foods from Nepal and everyone I knew recommended that it was a top place where you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine. Now I had to travel 3 hours to get there.Needless to say I went there with huge expectation. The foods however... were okay-ish. They were Nepalese cuisine but it was not delicious at all. For the price I paid I feel like I at least I deserve a decent and delicious Nepalese food as they're supposed to be. Shabhale was bland, Chowmein was too oily, Laphing smelled like it was stale, Momo wasn't too deli either, Achaar however was a star. Chilli Oil and Tomato Achaar was exceptional but other dishes as a foodie was a disappointment to me. The staffs were really friendly and welcoming which is why I am rating it 3 instead of 2.
