We (three adults and two dogs) had a fabulous lunch on Thursday. We ate outside in a beautiful garden. The food was amazing and beautifully presented, but the best thing was the outstanding customer service. Our dogs were brilliantly looked after and we were able to really enjoy the food and the lovely surroundings. A delivery issue meant that I couldn't have moules but the posh fish and chips recommended as an alternative were out of this world. We were on holiday and this venue is about two hours drive from our home but the food and welcome was so good that I would certainly consider making that length of journey again.

Superb Sunday lunch. Really friendly welcome. Both adults had roast beef, which was lovely but for me the veg they serve sets it apart! Super delicious! An extra gravy boat is a brilliant touch. They brought out the meal for our three year old pronto which is always what parents want. Great find. Worth the drive from Canterbury. In a lovely setting too!

By far the best stay I’ve had anywhere and an amazing price! Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond! Beautiful rooms and surroundings and extremely pet friendly! My little dog was treated like royalty, even being served his own breakfast in the morning. I’m very picky with where I stay🙈 but I cannot recommend this place enough!

We booked 2 rooms. A double and a family room. Both were homely, comfortable and nicely decorated. The only thing we would say is that we didn't have any milk for a tea or coffee in the room. A member of staff did say they provide fresh milk but obviously it wasn't available at midnight so maybe the little cartons would be option b. All the members of staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Shame the weather wasn't better as we would have liked to enjoy the beautiful garden and seating area. Overall a great stay and added to the enjoyment of my sisters wedding. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the New Flying horse and their lovely staff

We had a wonderful stay at this pub! Visited family in Wye all the way from California and had the best stay! Rooms are comfortable, breakfast was delicious and so was our dinner. Very special treats for dogs!

We were recommended to take Steve (Our Puppy) here for Doggy Breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we were very warmly greeted. A fantastic wood burner was well alight which gave it a fantastic atmosphere. The food was locally scourced and you can taste the quality. Its very reasonably priced and very filling. Steve also gobbled his well portioned breakfast aswell. Thankyou for having us. We most certainly will be back.

This is absolutely our favourite local pub, and the food is outstanding. We go back regularly to make sure we try everything before the beautiful seasonal menu changes, and we get to start again! Added bonus that it's doggy friendly and what more need I say.

We booked for a family party of 14 and were very well looked after. Service was great throughout. We were given an amuse bouche soon after sitting down which was a nice touch. Our food was delicious, especially the sea bream which was the best I've tasted. Portion sizes were generous. The menu and drinks were well priced. It was the perfect choice. We will be back!

Flawless service, truly kind and genuine - lovely touches in rooms and during meals. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and well presented, room had all basic amenities and a lovely sweet treat on the pillows. Fully dog friendly and didn't feel loud or busy even when every table was packed!

My friend and I have been to this pub a few times for Sunday lunch and the food has always been fresh and delicious. Yesterday was the first time we ate from the a la carte menu. Both our mains (pork belly and winter risotto) were very, very tasty indeed, as were the two small plates we ordered (olives and roasted almonds). The service is something I rarely experience these days - the staff and pub managers are so friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience. They are extremely dog friendly, and my friend's dog Devon loves all the doggy treats he receives! I can't recommend this place enough. It's one of a kind these days. An absolute ten out of ten! Thanks to Joe and Jane for all that you do.

Excellent gastro pub close to Ashford, with plenty of parking and really convenient for Canterbury and rural Kent. Food is excellent, with plenty of veggie options, and large portion sizes. Full English breakfast available, service excellent. The only slight minuses are quite narrow stairs to first floor, which might make an infirm person quite nervous, and patchy WiFi in the room.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant area had a few other tables so nicely busy. Good service and a decent menu. I ordered the asparagus to start but in hindsight would have got the mackerel. For mains I got the chicken milanese which was quite tasty but thought the dish was a bit dry and could have done with a sauce.

The New Flying Horse came up in a Google search when we were looking for a place to stay for one night on our way from Germany to Northern England. A big "Thank You" goes out to the guys in California, because we are pretty sure we could not have found a nicer inn in the whole of Kent. The family room was perfect for our family of four. The breakfast was excellent. And most important the staff was outstanding. In fact, we had such a great time that on our way back to Germany we decided to stop over again. That gave us the chance to also enjoy a really nice dinner. The food, the drinks and the entire atmosphere were so great that we stayed up much longer than expected. Thank you so much to all of you at The New Flying Horse. We are sure we will be back again.

I have lived in London for many years, and you will not find a pub there to the same quality and service as The New Flying Horse. The food, interiors, service and above all attention to detail is impeccable (as well good value)! I honestly cannot fault a thing - whether you are there for brunch, lunch, a casual drink, cocktails, dinner or a three course meal, you will not be disappointed. The staff are especially attentive and helpful! Special shout-out to the managers who clearly have worked extraordinary hard to make this place so special! I would recommend to anyone who is in or around Wye to pop in (if it’s the weekend make sure you book, word travels fast)! All I can say is, enjoy! :) Nothing to fault! Staff were amazing and helpful, attention to detail was faultless :)

Outstanding pub with lovely accommodation. Our room in the stable block was brilliantly appointed and exactly as described. The breakfast was huge and superb; so good in fact we didn't eat again until the evening! Huge amounts of parking which was extremely useful. We didn't use it but there's also bike storage, bike repair tools and even bike cleaning on site too. This is the only pub I've come across that offers every wine by the glass; they have a special machine to reseal each bottle to make sure it stays in good condition. A well thought out nice wine menu too. Also try a G&T, one of the best presented you will find. Overall a really lovely stay, we will definitely return.

We stayed in this place for a weekend. The room was amazing! Clean, rather big and very authentic. The place stays close to the road, but it’s very quiet and peaceful. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant was really good! Also I would like to mention the staff - friendly, attentive people who do their best to make you feel like home :) Our dog get so much attention and was very welcomed. Thank you so much! We will definitely come back.

What a gem in Wye. When your friends big a place up you always worry that it won't meet expectations. Well they delivered and then some. The staff were superb. The right amount of attention, the food was excellent and came out quite quickly. The setting is beautiful. All in all a first class night was had at a very reasonable price. Well worth visiting for sure.

Well, my first visit and I was totally impressed with all aspects of this business. Menu presented in a fun way. Probably one of the best meals I have eaten in a pub for a long time (very high standard). The ambiance on arrival is very pleasing and continues through the visit. Staff are friendly and professional. Wherever you found that Chef, definitely keep him!! I salute the couple who run this pub they are doing a marvellous job!! They will definitely see me again and hopefully friends and family by recommendation. Well done!

We had such a nice stay at the New Flying Horse. We wish we could have stayed longer. Staff was very kind and helpful ! We booked a premium room and everything was perfect (large and clean room and bathrooms). The breakfast (included in the price) was delicious. We'll be back ! Bonus: walks start a few meters away.

What a pleasant experience! We were welcomed with our dogs and felt like guests. Lovely warm fire and friendly professional service. The best bacon sandwich in years - without a doubt. Great coffee too. Keep it up - we enjoyed our visit and will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely little pub, we stayed in one of the stable rooms as we bought our 4 month old puppy and it was very nice. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, even bought him a doggy breakfast whilst we were having ours and were always on hand with a bowl of water and treats. The breakfast itself was top level too, really nice (I assume) local produce. Nice area too, there's plenty in the village itself (a few more pubs, Co-op if you need) and plenty of nice walks but also a lot within a short drive. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Visited this beautiful pub hotel today for lunch having booked a table with last night via their website with ease. The staff were very welcoming and attentive while the food was delicious. Although a little off the beaten track, the New Flying Horse is well worth a visit 😁

What a fabulous place! We stayed one night, having an evening meal and breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff very welcoming, friendly and a pleasure to meet. We had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend and if ever back on Kent would love to go back. Thank you so much for such a pleasurable experience.

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay at the New Flying Horse Inn. The staff were all very welcoming. The upstairs room was lovely: tastefully decorated, comfortable, with all amenities needed for an overnight stay. Beautiful garden in which to enjoy a pre-dinner G&T and a delicious evening meal. We also enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. We recommend the circular walk listed on their website: very clear instructions and a beautiful view of the North Downs.

We had a really lovely two night stay last week. The room was very clean and very comfortable bed. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good food too served promptly all with a smile. A very friendly place. Hope to come again. Thank you.

Had a lovely beef roast here. The staff were very attentive and nice, they checked on us several times and provided extra sauces when we asked for them. The roast itself was well presented, a good portion size and had a good array of sides. I would definitely recommend this and come here again

A delightful local pub that's been upgraded to a great restaurant and hotel in Wye village. Lunch in the spacious garden was served promptly by friendly staff. The ladies toilet was clean and well equipped. The only negative aspect was that it was very small and would be difficult for some people to negotiate, especially as the door opens into the small cubicle.
