Really nice abbey - size of a typical cathedral and easy to find in the centre of Bath. Suggested £5 donation, but entry is officially free. You don't actually have to pay. In the style of most of the cathedrals in this country, it's surprisingly light and airy inside. Lovely decorations and stained glass windows. Outside in the public square, there's always some musician playing some nice music. Overall, definitely worth visiting!

Did the Abbey tour and Connor and Ben were great fun and full of info. The 212 steps was definitely a challenge, but it made the experience at the top all the more special. I would definitely recommend

Well, worth a visit an extremely beautiful church with a lot of history attached to it. Could do with a few more signs about the history as you go along, but well worth it before paying for nothing. I also attended the church service here, and it was the most beautiful service I’ve ever been to the acoustics in the church was amazing people who you were sat round were lovely and welcoming.

I did the tower tour. Our guide Edd was very knowledgeable. Listening to the history was amazing. The climbed up wasn't to bad in different levels. Well worth the climbed just to see the view.

Great experience! Absolutely stunning! We signed up for the tour (including clock tower). Our guide was amazing & gave of lots of insights - it was very interesting (and trust me, I usually get bored easily). We climbed all the way up onto the roof - the view is FANTASTIC! Best view over Bath for sure! If you opt for the last slot in autumn, you get a sunset option! We were in love! P.S. you can also see inside the baths!

Beautiful Abby, staff around are extremely friendly and easy to talk to and Beautiful history. There is no obligation to pay to enter but donations are welcome, as it should be and we contributed to, Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals have a lot to learn there!

Absolutely stunning well worth a visit, easy to find a couple of minutes walk from the train station. Admission charge Adults £6.50 but well worth it. Staff are helpful polite and informative, it has a nice gift shop a little over priced. stunning well worth a visit, easy to find a couple of minutes walk from the train station. Would highly recommend the Tower Tour, and if you are lucky enough Ed will be your tour guide. Highly knowledgeable and approachable! Amazing tour guide and didn't rush us around. Had time to take in the sights and history, and get pictures up the top of the tower. Definitely worth £10 per person!

Bath Abby is situated near the train station so you can go by walking. Bath city is very beautiful. It will be very convenient if you take the hop on hop off buses. It can be covered in one day. Just note down the closing time of roman bath and Abby. I just love this city. So beautiful ❤️❤️

Gorgeous architecture! There's so much detail, especially the stained glass windows and hisotry of the place. Great social distancing measures as well as track and trace in place.

Lovely to look around and slow down. Beautiful architecture. Spend about 30-40 mins breaking up your day. No entrance fee, but donations suggested.

Really nice to look around the abbey - but the tower tour was the best bit by far! Definitely worth the money to go up the tower and see the smaller, hidden rooms. Great views of Bath once you're up there (even if it was a bit rainy when we got to the top!)

Did both the floor tour and the tower tour. Both very enjoyable. Tower has 212 steps that get tighter towards the top. Good workout getting up! You get to see the clock, bells and the Bath skyline. Well worth the effort!

Beautiful building, well worth the small entrance fee. Pretty big with a long history. Can easily spend over an hour here as so much to see.

Very nice cathedral. Worth to visit. Small fee to enter. There is a tower that can be visited but tickets get sold quickly for the tower. If you just want the abbey it's ok just to walk in any time. The abbey itself is lovely, better to go when it is sunny so you can see all the windows displaying all the majestic scenes.

We took the tour up the towers and had an amazing experience. The tour guides an older gentleman and younger lady were captivating and super friendly. Well worth the cost to get amazing views of the city.

Religious views aside a beautiful building well worth a visit. Some outstanding architecture with stunning stained glass windows. Lots of little details to find and admire, you need to look all around you. Hundreds of memorials to look at fantastic designs and some interesting reading.

We went to watch an Incredible performance of Viennese opera few days ago. The Cathedral is absolutely astonishing. Lots of history there. I highly recommend this place to be visited in summer time as well!

You have to buy a ticket to go in. They give a student discount when you show your ID. They have tickets of different prices on which takes you to the tower and they have specific times. I got a normal ticket which allowed me to see the abby. It was such a beautiful experience. You can even light a candle and they even have places where you can pray. There was a place where you can write a note and leave it in the wall. They have gift shops at the end of the tour.

If you have the time and money (£15 pp) then take the tower tour. This gives you access to the Abbey and a place on a timed tour up into the towers were you see the bell ringing station, behind the clock, the bells and finally onto the roof to take in the spectacular views. 212 steps in total but you do not climb them all in 1 go. Guides are very friendly and knowledgeable.

What a beautiful Abbey! Right next to the roman baths it's absolutely stunning. The architecture inside is incredible and beautifully done. All the staff were friendly and it was only £10 for two adults to look around. The windows are so pretty and detailed. Definitely worth popping in for a visit

Absolutely stunning building. You had to give a donation of at least £5 per person to go in. Architecture is beautiful. Really worth a visit, we were lucky enough to have a choir practice going on and it sounded amazing!

This is a beautiful place to visit! It was free, which was nice. It’s gorgeous on the outside as well as inside. We didn’t actually spend super long at this location, as we were short on time. I don’t think you need to budget a ton of time for this, but would recommend taking enough time to soak in the incredible architecture. The area around the Abbey is super fun as well- it’s such a happy area with people performing and it is a bit more crowded. Would recommend visiting if you’re in bath!

Lovely place, the baths were fully booked but the Abbey is free but a donation goes a long way. The Abbey is amazing they were carrying out works on the pews so half was closed off but enough to see and read. Really worth a visit.
