👍👍 Squats is a brilliant Gym. Rasa and her team are extremely friendly and welcoming. My husband and I have joint PT with Steve who is brilliant. I have never done weight training before and he has been amazing at teaching is form and technique, I would highly recommend signing up for sessions with him...     I love this gym, it’s perfect if you are serious about working out! It has a nice atmosphere, everyone is super friendly, but let you get on with your workout. I’d strongly recommend it for anyone into weightlifting. It has a great range of equipment and boasts the best music to get you into the groove.

    The gym manager is brilliant and very personable. I have a great PT. The vast majority of gym members give it a family and community feel. There are a range of weights and machines to use to provide a full body workout.

    Fantastic gym and staff I do 121 sessions with Steve who knowledge is second to none. He takes care of my strength training and I have made great gains. I would highly recommend the gym and Steve for any PT work you may want or need.

    It’s a great gym, cool atmosphere and friendly people. I train with Steve who is an expert trainer. He helped me perfect my squatting and deadlifting and now I’m lifting much heavier. Thanks Steve!

    I’ve been training with Steve Cole for over 9 months now and have beat all my personal-bests and have never lifted more than I can now, he’s a fantastic personal trainer I highly recommend him

    Squats is a brilliant Gym. Rasa and her team are extremely friendly and welcoming. My husband and I have joint PT with Steve who is brilliant. I have never done weight training before and he has been amazing at teaching is form and technique, I would highly recommend signing up for sessions with him! I also do the HIIT classes which are run by Irene. You’ll be sure to build your fitness very quickly after a few of her sessions! She’s a fab instructor and full of motivation and energy! Can’t recommend the gym more highly

    Been training with Steve for a few weeks now. I used to be very active and have had three back surgeries this year and Steve is helping me get back my mobility and fitness levels. When I found Steve I was looking for someone who had the experience and knowledge to be able to train me without further injury and help get the right form and Steve has been absolutely epic. He has given me the confidence to get going and seeing him has massively improved my quality of life and helped enormously with the recovery so far. He is extremely knowledgeable and really friendly and it’s been great fun training with him so far. I’m looking forward to the next training session and cannot recommend him enough Squats Gym is great, love the vibe and I wish I’d found it earlier.

    I have no hesitation in given this gym and Steve Cole (PT) a 5 Star rating!!! I was initially somewhat apprehensive about joining thinking I would feel intimidated however, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Everyone is SUPER friendly, supportive and extremely welcoming!! I have been training with Steve and have had 6 sessions so far. He is a true legend and MASTER of his craft. He makes each session interesting, varied and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend Squats Gym, and PT sessions with Steve!!! 5 ************************************** PLUS!

    Have just finished a pack of lessons with Steve to get started with the power lifting basics. Steve is super knowledgeable and great guy, I've really enjoyed all the sessions, thanks! Feeling stronger already. On top of that the gym has a really friendly and open atmosphere. If you're interested in getting started with some weights like I was, get to Squats and talk to Steve! Highly recommend.

    Steve is an absolute legend! It's been over a month since I started personal training sessions with him, and I've already noticed gains in my strength and physique. I thought being overweight and having mobility issues would be a problem for Steve, but he has been very patient and has adapted my training, which is allowing me to make the most out of my limited range of motion. Overall, Steve is a great PT with extensive knowledge of correct lifting forms. It's never a dull moment when I'm training with him. The gym itself is small, but has a great atmosphere  and loads of weightlifting equipment. Also, Rasa (the owner) is lovely, and she makes me feel welcome every time I visit.

    Best gym I’ve been to in London! Great community, everyone is super friendly and it has everything you need. Fully recommend training with Steve - fantastic coach, I’ve learned so much from him. 10/10!

    Magical Experience! I've been training with Steve for three months to sort my posture and build strength. It's been a magical experience with Steve's unique motivating ways ("be at one with the bar") have pushed me further in a shorter time than I thought possible!

    I'm a late retuner to gym sessions after a 10 year gap. Looked for a local gym and Squats came up. I'll be honest and thought it would be something very macho from the logo but in reality, it's a warm, friendly gym with great staff in Rasa, Steve and Hamid and an easy going atmosphere. Good for resistance weights by machine or free weights...I'm glad I joined and I highly recommend it for anyone. I don't use the changing room but it's a mixed facility as best I can figure and most people come ready changed.

    Update 2023 I've now returned and made squats my home gym. Once I stepped foot into squats, commercial gyms couldn't satisfy me any further. Squats has the right atmosphere, equipment and community to help me achieve my strength goals. A real lifters gym for people who want to put in work and better themselves. I've also restarted coaching with Steve. He's worth every pound and has already transformed my attitude, personal bests and training. Very happy customer. - If you want to seriously improve your strength and lifting - this is the gym for you. I had 6 sessions with Steve. He is an excellent straight-talking trainer who taught me correct powerlifting form, motivated me and encouraged me to level up in my lifting. I found Steve to have much more experience than many other PT's I've met - and unlike many other wannabe trainers, he is incredibly strong. Since training here, I have far exceeded all my personal bests and continue to do so on a weekly basis. The regulars are all friendly and supportive, the lady who owns it is also very nice and professional. I strongly recommend and will definitely be returning for further sessions with Steve.

    Super friendly gym, owner is lovely, I've only started strength training recently so been having PT sessions with Steve who I would deffo recommend. Lovely bunch of people, staff and clients alike.

    Great Gym! Got all the equipment you need but more importantly great people. I had Steve as a PT for my first few weeks, to teach me the fundamentals and he’s great. Really insightful with a thousand little tips that all really help. Plus he’s super relaxed and funny which makes each session fun. Also, the staff and rest of the people there are really welcoming and friendly. I hadn’t really done weight lifting before but no one judges you at all. Everyone is just super encouraging. Definitely recommend it.

    I've found in Squats Gym exactly what I was looking for. People are very friendly and it has all that you need to workout properly. I have been training with Steve for several months now, and the progress has been incredible. I have never enjoyed training this much, always looking forward to the next session. Steve designs the best training program based on your needs and your goals. Sessions are always interesting and have a clear purpose. They keep you motivated. He makes sure you understand why you are doing what you are doing, focusing not only on the amount of weight but also in teaching you the proper technique, breathing, right number of sets of reps, etc. always with a well defined goal. He has a tremendous knowledge, but also his ability to transfer that knowledge to other people is outstanding. I recommend Squats and Steve as a PT to anyone who, like me, has gone and quit the gym many times in the past, and wants to finally learn how to do it properly.

    I have been training at Squats Gym since December 2022. It's a friendly, familial environment where everyone encourages each other to be the best version of themselves. If you're looking for a gym with a little more heart and soul than a Pure Gym or equivalent, than look no further. Since April of this year, I've been under the guidance of Steve during one-to-one PT sessions. Steve is an absolutely fantastic coach and his attention to detail is second-to-none. He has a scrupulous eye for correct form, which in my view is the best way to avoid injury and build strength. I feel so much more comfortable lifting weights than I ever have in the past, and since training with Steve little niggles I was getting have virtually disappeared. I'd highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for high quality strength training tailored to your needs, whether you're a complete beginner or have strength training experience.

    My girlfriend and I have for quite a while been doing joint PT sessions with Steve, which were brilliant. Very informative at the start going through technique and slowly built up from there. Exercises and environment is brilliant, could not recommend highly enough Steve for strength training and also will provide a programme as well for outside of training.

    Steve is a fantastic personal trainer with decades of experience and knowledge. He has shown me different variations of the main compound lifts and he looks at it more holistically than other trainers out there. I have also seen the rehabilitation work he has done with his other clients who come to him with back issues and other health conditions and how he has transformed their lives and made them stronger than ever. 10/10

    No nonsense old school gym! Nothing more you can ask for! Love this Gym, Great staff, and a phenomenal PT in Steve Cole! Have been training with Steve for 13 months now and honestly cannot believe the progress I’ve made in that time. Steve really brings his 40plus years of experience to every session. Breaks everything down to ensure you get every lift right. I can’t thank him enough. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with him but looking forward to the journey ahead! 💪🏽👊🏽

    Steve has been training my wife and me for the last 2 months after we have both had a long time out of the gym, and we couldn't have dreamed of the progress we have made. Steve breaks down the technique of all the lifts and makes sure everything is done correctly before progressing whilst pushing us beyond what we though we could achieve. Rasa, Steve and everyone at Squats Gym is extremely friendly and welcoming and we have rediscovered our love of lifting, and we're looking forward to continuing our training with Steve.

    Been a member at squats now for over a year and can safely say it's been my favourite place to train that i've found over the last 15 years of training. All the people are welcoming, knowledgeable and good fun to be around and train with, especially Steve who has helped me achieve many of my strength and personal goals through his guidance.     Squats gym and Steve the amazing PT are awesome - I cannot rate them highly enough! The gym has such a friendly vibe, everyone is there to train, there’s no pretence or posers, and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Steve has truly taken me under his wing and supported me in my sessions with him to becoming stronger and more confident with my training. I always look forward to my sessions, seeing the advancement I have made is so rewarding. I will be booking a next set of PT sessions with Steve asap!

    As an avid gym goer of 30 years, I’ve had the pleasure of training in near a hundred gyms/fitness centres all over the world. Squats Gym London is by far one of the most friendly and inspiring clubs I’ve ever trained in. You get a kind and real welcome every visit, not only from the team who work there, but also by the members who you may of never even seen before.     Delighted with the results working with Steve. He has helped me rebuild after an op and lockdowns. I achieved my initial strength and speed goals for swimming in just six months... and discovered I enjoy weights into the bargain.     I've been training with Steve for the last couple of months and it has been amazing. Thanks to his years of knowledge and wisdom I was able to push myself and achieve weights I never thought I could all without ever being put in danger or injuring myself.     I've been training with Steve at Squats Gym for two months and I love it there - he's extremely knowledgable and professional (and patient!) and I've learnt way more than I ever expected! The gym itself is very friendly and has everything you need. It's never too busy and everyone is really helpful - whether it's helping you move weights off machines or chatting in reception.

    I've been training with Steve for just over two months now - he's really knowledgable, focused on getting form right above all else. He's not someone to shout at you, instead motivating and encouraging. My progress with him in this short amount of time has been crazy! The other staff and members at the gym are also really friendly and welcoming.

    You won’t find a friendlier, more welcoming gym than this one. Having not exercised for about 2 years and feeling pretty unfit, I was apprehensive about going to a HIIT class, but I really needn’t have been. When I first came in I was greeted by Rasa (one of the nicest people ever) and the two trainers I’ve had at Squats – Hamid and Irene – have been fantastic. They push you just the right amount so you see improvement from class to class, but so that you can walk the next day…just! Would 100% recommend.

    Going to the gym is hard enough especially if it's an unfriendly, stale and clinical environment, so I was absolutely delighted to find squats gym and to be welcomed with open arms! I received personal training from Steve who kick-started my fitness journey and I was welcomed into the family by lovely owner, Rasa. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful and now I look forward to going to the gym!

    Great gym. Had a number of PT sessions with Steve. Highly recommend. For me as a beginner it was really beneficial to have a PT who focuses of form and technique. Skills that will allow me to take forward and utilize again and again.

    Booked sessions with Steve based on previous reviews and he is excellent. He knows your limits and tailors exercises to fit your needs. I have ongoing lower back problems and need to build a strong base. Steve showed an understanding and experience working with similar issues. I trusted in him and the routines we were doing, and will be getting more sessions soon.

    I've been a member at Squats Gym for a couple of years now and have found it to be hands down one of the best gyms I've ever used. All the equipment is top notch and all staff and other gym-goers are very friendly, giving the gym a real community feel. Although I've been training independently for a while, I felt I would benefit from some coaching and recently signed up for PT sessions with Steve Cole. Steve quickly identified areas where I could improve my technique and after only one session had me performing exercises much more effectively and, most importantly, safely than I was before. Whether you are an experienced lifter or looking to get into strength training I would strongly recommend Squats Gym. Message to owners: Keep doing what you're doing! :)
