If you need time away to escape the normal hectic routine of life then stay in Ashridge farm campsite. Its based in a beautiful Anglo salon settlement with narrow village streets ,thatched houses and gorgeous countryside. There's no entertainment on site but a nice relaxing walk to a local pub or if u fancy treating yourself to a freshly baked pastry or cake then it's a short stroll. Staff are very polite and helpful and the facilities are clean and well maintained.

Lovely small site but with full toilet and shower facilities. Very quiet and with a Walkway in to the countryside at its entrance. The walkway sign days its 17 miles, but we didn't go that far. We walked it foe about half an hour and went through farmland. The village of Ashwell is a short walk and has a bakers and small store ( with limited range) There are also four pubs and a children's play area.

A very nice, small CC campsite in a nice area at the edge of town - within walking distance of the nearest pub and with clean and complete facilities. However, unfortunately we arrived when the local annual "festival" (aka rave) was on. This was more of a an annoying background noise from a mile or so away rather than being at a Quo concert with your head in a speaker. Some fellow campers weren't bothered at all by it. The music went on until 04:00 on the Friday and Saturday. This was easily solved by ear plugs and is NOT the fault of the campsite. My advice is that if you arrive in August it may well be worth checking beforehand. The wood pigeons on the other hand decided it was a great idea to perch on the open skylights, stick their heads in the caravan and coo as loudly as possible. The site is also on the flight path of Stansted Airport and you get the odd EasyJet flight going over at 4,000 feet - but really nothing to worry about. Would I go back? You betcha.

Village beautiful, easy walk from campsite. Tap in ladies constantly dripping the week we were there. Told Wardens on first day and they said a plumber had been called. Motorhome cleaning area not working. Spoke with another lady who had been a regular visitor and said the site was not up to it's usual standard. Site needs updating.

Nice Quiet Site. Facilities basic but clean, tidy, Warm and nice. 30 some pitches all a good size. Lovely walk directly from the site, turn left out of the site. Do not enter from the Village side as tight roads. All in all a nice place, we stayed end of January 2023 all fully booked.

Good dog walks from site, but site has no views and has much larger storage area than pitches.

Small quite park, very well maintained by helpful friendly staff. Narrow roads around the village, but it has all you need, butcher's Bakery, public house.

Lovely small site with spotlessly clean facilities. Basic site but beautifully kept, lovely welcoming, friendly owners who were on hand for any questions. A short stroll from Ashwell village. Will definitely return.

Touring caravan site of the Caravan and Motorhome club, small site with hard and grass pitches available to book. As it's a small site, the facilities block is small, but I didn't have to queue during this visit. It's not modern in decor but was very clean and tidy, thanks to the site employees. The site offers storage if you are looking for a long-term solution for your unit parking. If you are looking for a small site to just chill, you could do a lot worse.

Used as a night stop over. Lovely small site. Staff very pleasant and helpful. But pitch prices ridiculosly high at £38+per night for a member.

First visit to this Caravan and Motorhome site. Fabulously clean and spacious toilets and showers. Walked into Ashwell even though we have limited mobility. There were benches to sit on, on the way. Had an evening meal in The Three Tuns which was adequate. Lovely site. Will definitely be back

I don't want to tell you about this place as we loved it. I wanted to keep it just for us. It's a tiny site but set in a lovely village. Locals were lovely, great local pubs, brilliant bakers and butchers that also have fresh locally sourced veg.

A small campsite on the outskirts of Ashwell. Very friendly staff. The facilities were clean. The showers great. No shop st the site. I enjoyed my time there and will return. Lots of areas to walk the dog from just outside the site gate.
