They kicked us out after two weeks of a four week stay because my two year old stained their sheets with washable colouring pen. They wouldn’t even offer for us to pay for the damages as an alternative which makes me think they wanted to get rid of us because we were in the cheapest rate and there is high demand for the rooms 🤔. The hotel manager needs to go on a customer service and hospitality course. Non smiling, miserable looking wicked woman that has no humanity in her.

I have given this one star as the aircon in our room worked a treat. No further stars as the rest of our stay was appalling. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Rooms are clean, but beds are extremely hard, would have had a better nights sleep on the floor. The hotel is noisy, with visitors slamming doors, which makes your own door vibrate and bang throughout the night. I know this as I couldn't sleep because the bed was so hard. Our evening meal in the restaurant was terrible. The carvery meat was dry, vegetables shriveled, and mash lumpy. Other people in our party had to wait ages for their main meals, and drink orders took forever. On the plus side, our breakfast was great. Generally there is no personality to this place, and for the price of the room you would expect a bit more. I would not recommend this hotel.

Fairly new hotel, clean and tidy. But maintenance was not good. The kettle tripped the fuse when it boiled, the light over the mirror in the bedroom didn't work and the button to request the lift on the ground floor wasn't working! The mattress could have been more comfortable.

I stayed here as we we’re running late on a job. The guy on reception was very good and polite, after a short chat he told me he had a French restaurant near a place I love, south of Toulouse on the way to Andorra. So nice to meet intelligent polite people these days. Then in the restaurant I walked in and a group of young looking staff were gathered by a computer terminal. I’ve been in many places where this could result in a long wait. But these were as good as the guy on reception, polite and friendly and great service. Even the food, for a chain restaurant was better than expected ! Of all the staff Patrick was really professional and friendly without being too much. The whole vibe was really relaxed and happy. So nice to find these days. Obviously if conditions ever dictate I would stay here again for sure. For regular travellers there are 4 power sockets next to the bed with USB ports 👍🏼

Not impressed with the way my room change was handled. I could hear noise coming from the opposite room so went to reception to see if any other rooms were available as I thought the noise might continue into the night. The receptionist told the people who were staying opposite that she was having to move another guest (me) while I was standing right there. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing. A bit of discretion would have been great!

I had a relative stay at the hotel during my son's wedding in April 2022. Even though the room and service were advised to me as being very good, my relatives are still having to try and deal with a parking issue, which they believe they had paid. They had to leave the hotel for a moment, to go to a shop, but returned as quickly as possible, but they did not realise they had to re-enter their car details on the car registering tablet, in reception. They are now finding it extremely hard indeed to get hold of the parking company, who are continuing to send them bills (extortionate ones), which they want to discuss and if no other option try to pay somehow. This whole matter is making them feel very anxious and uncomfortable. If the hotel can help It would be most appreciated.

Stayed here for 1 night on the 1st of July having arrived near 10pm and left the following morning at 3am. Checked in was quick and straight forward asking for my details and any car registration that I may have which I entered onto the form and signed. To my shock I returned from a 2 week trip in Europe to a parking charge for failing to supply/enter my details. At no point had I been informed or made aware that the parking area was run by an external company or that any additional details had to be entered else where. Even on the web site it states free parking more than once. Called the hotel and was told that there was nothing they could do and to take it up with the parking company. First parking ticket in over 25 years of driving.

Charged for parking although we had a meal here. Appealed the parking ticket and even provided receipt for meal/drinks as proof. Sort your selves out! The pub initially said to appeal and they will confirm to the parking company and then turned around and refused to be involved. Complete crooks getting a cut from the parking company that is issuing wrongful parking tickets to paying customers. If you live in Ebbsfleet do not eat here! There are other pubs who do not try to pull cheap tricks like this on regular customers.

Very clean, modern hotel. Nice surroundings and excellent rooms. Reception staff are varied and some are friendlier than others. Comfy bed but noise from other rooms was an issue for me. Good value weekdays but Saturday is expensive for what you offer, in my opinion. Decent pub/restaurant attached but breakfast options are very limited indeed. Literally the same options every single day and not what I class a good choice. Dinner one night was tasty but took over an hour to arrive as my order was missed. Second night it wasn’t very nice and I didn’t eat it. At no time do staff check on their customers although they are friendly behind the bar. Good playground for little ones. Nice to eat outside during the hot weather but tables not cleaned or cleared.

Very fast check-in at night. Polite receptionist. The room is very neat and stylish. Comfortable big bed. Coffee and tea are included and are in the room as are an electric kettle and hair dryer. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was someone else's hair on the bathtub. When checking in, it is better to check the cleanliness of the room.

Very clean room, spacious and well equipped with usb ports and air con. Tea and coffee and milk were easily replenished from reception. The reception team were very friendly and polite. We had no problems but I'm sure if we had they would have dealt with everything well. Ample parking and the Spring River pub adjacent served excellent food.

Quiet hotel, clean, comfortable bed, everything you need in the room, good aircon, I was warm enough, reception was always manned, the restaurant is just over the road and they are very friendly and helpful, and there is a coop just a minute away. Great value for money.

Not far off the m25 and Baywater. The staff are friendly and helpful. The family room that was booked was nice and clean. Free parking too. The pub across the way from the hotel serves up a nice breakfast. The staff there are lovely and helpful. Would stay here again.

Huge secure car park with plenty of spaces and cameras. Young lady on reception was friendly and helpful. Room was fab and a great improvement over a Premier Inn we stayed at the night before. Bed was so comfy, big TV, air conditioning that worked very well. No noise from nearby roads. Would stay again

Pros. Overall our visit lead us to feel this was the best hotel we've ever stayed in, comfort, cleanliness, location, WiFi , facilities, modern and well maintained etc. We required a special needs room due to mental health and the staff were awesome at accommodating us with our needs making our stay that bit more perfect. Staff are awesome here, friendly, relatable and totally helpful. Double bed was a slight bit on the petite side , didn't have lots of space to manoeuvre between two people but was absolutely fine overall , comfortable and warm/cosy. Car parking is great ,secure and nicely laid out. Local coop was a definite plus for those on a budget to be able to obtain affordable food and drinks, on site restaurant is also a definite plus for families and anyone wanted a hot meal am or pm. Bath room was impeccable, so clean you felt it was brand new as was the rest of the room. Good heater, cooler, air con Cons . TV was an issue, it is a good sized TV for the room, however upon arrival, the remote was broken and malfunctioning, the up and down control both operated the up function which was highly annoying, we went to the desk but was given a replacement remote which wasn't broken but still had the same malfunction, which means the TV was wonky. Also with the TV, most of the important channels were missing like bbc2 etc and you cannot rescan for channels as it's been locked like this, which ruined any TV viewing that we may have had. The only other issue was , we brought a separate device to connect to the TV to watch addition content however there wasn't a separate plug socket that we could plug our additional device into so we couldn't use it. Reception for TV was good, for the channels that were available, reception for mobile internet was really good, plus the WiFi here was ok. So overall we give the Hotel and facilities 9/10 ( this is really a great place to stay if you take into account the issues we had and make provisions to get around these minor problems. Lastly the price.... We paid just £47 for one nights stay. That is truly amazing!

This place seems to be fairly new. My room was quite big and most importantly it was clean. However there aren't many accessories, no shoehorn or minibar, but at least a kettle with tea was available. And USB sockets to charge your phone. The best thing is the location, within 20 minutes you can reach the city center by express train. There is a restaurant which appears to be part of the property and there is also a small supermarket opposite.

We stayed for 2 nights as went to Brands Hatch. Lovely big room and very clean. Breakfast not included additional charge of nearly £10 each for breakfast, which we couldn't have on first morning as a Sunday and we left for brands hatch before breakfast started at 8. On second morning we had breakfast, as a bank holiday again started at 8am. It was all you could eat and had a wide range to offer except mushrooms on full breakfast, but what we had was really good. We had one evening meal which had average prices, I had cod and chips but the fish batter was overcooked. My husband had steak and it was perfect. The restaurant was in the next block to the hotel but that was fine with us. The hotel, although near a road seemed soundproofed as we heard no noise. Knowing we were booked in for 2 nights, it woukd have been nice to have a supply of enough t bags and milk for our stay in glad I took my own, only 2 tbafs supplied, but there was a note saying if you want more ask, I just couldn't ve bothered to do that, as felt enough should already be laid on. Overall good value for money, and comfortable bed.

I stayed for two nights with my husband and it was a wonderful experience. The room is clean, great staff and a highly recommended place for anyone who needs to relax or for business purposes. I'm choosing this hotel over and over again anytime I visit and recommending it for family, friends and colleagues.

Booked a one night stay here as I had an important appointment in London. Free ample parking onsite which is a bonus. The reception staff are generally friendly and helpful however it is a mixed bag as it depends who you get. Made a room request which I got however there was a problem with the climate control so I annoyingly I had to move, second room was fine though. AC is a big plus for me to keep cool in summer months. The rooms are very spacious and very clean although basic in furnishings. I also generally found the rooms quiet at least no outdoor noise if anything just some noise from other guests, corridor etc which could only be helped with better internal soundproofing or more considerate guests. There is a co op a short walk from the hotel which is handy and a restaurant on site. I ordered takeaway and it was nice food if a bit overpriced. Generally this hotel was good value for a nights stay and I would recommend and stay again.

We stayed here before a trip to London (excel) and this hotel is a great location (jist after Dartford crossing) with easy accessibility to the local area and east London. Price was reasonable (£64 per large room) and staff was friendly, even with locks being replaced on most of the doors, we never felt inconvenienced. My only negative would be that the workmen had three of their vans parked in disabled bays, making my walk to/from the car longer the should have been necessary. Large restaurant on the same location, which served great food, reasonably priced, but the drinks were a little expensive considering everyone was having soft drinks.

Location of the Hotel is very easy to find and access. Only 20 min to Greenwich by car. Hotel looks like totally new. A big and free parking area. A very nice restaurant next to the Hotel. Also there is a Coop right across the restaurant which is open until 10pm everyday. Hotel is very clean and roomy. Staff are very friendly. There is 24 hr reception. WiFi is free with very good connection. Everything was great at our stay. The hotel is fabulous for this price.

Our second visit , the first one was pre- covid when the hotel was relatively new I'm happy to say it was not in any way jaded but was as good as new with very good facilities . The reception staff were very pleasant and that is always a good start. My only criticism is that the pub stopped serving meals at 8.30 and due to the M2 being closed and a 70 mile detour our arrival time was a lot later than planned . We were in time (just) and the food was good . All in all a very good experience .

Really enjoyable stay. Hotel met all our needs and even had allocated motorcycle parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's such a shame that the adjacent pub let's them down. Would stay here again.

Was looking for an hotel for somewhere my friends can stay while their visiting. I Will not be using this hotel as From reading the reviews , they don't deal with any parking issues . Typical nice hotel , guest will drive to to stay and mistakes happen and can't be helped . But no responsibility to help forner guest with their problem. I admit I'm taking their issues on face value but I've had a similar problem in the past and the restaurant helped us Resolve the problem It's Just like some parking in London a while back private parking companies. Just not bothered with fairness just the extra revenue. And no means of communicating with anyone to resolve it.

Newish hotel, large, clean, comfortable rooms with a nice (busy at times) bar/restaurant. The car charger on site (2 total) are expensive but fast. Good location. Highly recommended.

Marstons food - Best carvery I have had hands down! The mash is incredible, best turkey (not dry at all) good selection of veg, just fab. It seems they cook the veg to meet the numbers they are expecting so they are all fresh rather than dry from sitting under the heat lamps like most places. Highly recommend!! The children's meals and southern fried burger were really nice too, not dry or over cooked, good portions and reasonable prices. Spring River Hotel - great room, clean, spacious, everything you need for the night. Great low price and a comfy bed too 🙂

I stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 22. Rooms are quite large with all basic amenities provided for including air conditioner. A good hotel with 24 hour reception at a decent price outdoing nearby competitors like premier Inn Dartford.

Our family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days as we were attending our father's funeral. The hotel was lovely with polite and welcoming staff, the room was also lovely and well worth the price. What truly let this facility down was one of the staff members at the restaurant who was impolite, rude, dismissive, and lacked any understanding of what customer service entails, she was approximately 35 years of age, dark coloured hair and around 5ft 8 and a huge chip on her shoulder, she appeared to be some sort of manager/supervisor. There was an older lady in the restaurant who was behind the bar on the till who was lovely, very polite and welcoming, and certainly what the other lady should be emulating.

  • 5/5 Liz H. 11 months ago on Google
The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The staff are helpful and check-in is quick as was the checkout which was even quicker and just needed the key posted in a box at reception. We got a 20% discount at the restaurant for booking direct and that was a welcome bonus. Would I stay here again... Definitely and at £50 for a night stay it was more than worth the price

The Hotel Reception was ok, our room was clean and comfortable, However the restaurant was awful. We waited to be seated nearly 10mins before being acknowledged. It wasn't even busy! The Customer service was very poor, We ordered 2 meals from the menu, both very poor standard. Considering it's a Marston's there were ZERO ales. We decided not to have breakfast the next morning. We would not return.

The hotel was very pretty, the receptionist was nice. The room was very nice and was clean and ready. The design of the hotel was lovely(from my 6 year old!) We enjoyed the tea, coffee and biscuits that were available on reception. This made this much easier.

A family reunion was the reason for our 2 day stop over. The room and facilities were as expected. Access to the restaurant is a short walk. Meals, especially breakfast were tasty, fresh and served by friendly staff. The only comment is technical. The room doors are clearly solid fireproof and secure. The keyless system works well for a sighted person providing it is understood it takes s good push once the door is released for entry. A poor sighted person cannot see the green light, so when they push it is too late, also it IS an effort to open the doors! Parking directly outside. All in all ok.

It is exactly what it is, but just has that something missing to push it up a notch.... Although nothing really to complain about, its the little thing's that add up to an excellent experience. When checking in, the receptionist didn't make eye contact, when arriving at the room, although it was a very good size, there was a kettle but it looked like they forgot to leave teas, coffees and those other little additions you'd normally find, and no extra pillow. All in all I can't say there was anything bad, just a missed opportunity to be better, I do recommend it for the price, and will be staying again if I am in the area.

Nice clean hotel but the restaurant is terrible for vegans, only 1 main course was vegan and thats if they leave off the slaw and dressing, on the night i was eating they had ran out of the soy burger, i was however offered a chicken burger as a replacement (this confused me greatly) which left me with a small side of chips and some very soggy boiled to death veg. The staff seem nice but made no effort in offering any alternatives or even making sure i got a decent sized meal. No offer of sauces or cutlery which meant i had to go wandering round the restaurant looking for both.
