Stayed here recently and loved it! Comfy beds, brilliant white linen, clean room and ensuite, lovely and warm. Exceptionally helpful reception and household staff. The pool/sauna/steam ream were super too - lovely warm water in the pool, and very helpful pool staff. Spa treatments available. Didn't have breakfast, but dinner was tasty, very filling, and piping hot. Had a walk around the grounds of the country club/golf course which were tranquil and peaceful. Can't wait to return! Thank you.

Just got back from a 3 day break. 4 adults 2 kids. Really enjoyed the stay staff were so friendly and helpful especially Karen who works in the restaurant. She couldn't do enough for us and made us feel really looked after. She is amazing at her job and deserves a big shout out. The reception staff were all amazing too. Our rooms were superior rooms and had outside terraces which were great. Amazing cleanliness at the hotel. I will definitely be returning. Also the food was fantastic we were on the dinner package. The staff were great with kids too.

Hotel is being refurbished so will a somewhat average room should feel better soon. I ordered room service on this occasion due to a very long and arduous day. It arrived half an hour late, which I suppose happens, the food was actually cold when it arrived. I didn’t mention it at that point as I was too tired to enter into debate, and didn’t want to wait for a replacement. I mentioned it to reception on my departure and although I heard the words sorry… didn’t seem to have any heart behind it, and no explanation was given… as a Marriott Gold member, meaning I stay in their hotels on a regular basis, I was disappointed on this occasion.

I have stayed in the best part of 100 hotels over the last 18 months and I’m flabbergasted at the low review of this place as it’s by far one of the better hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are absolutely immaculate and well furnished, the hotel itself is also very, very inviting with an amazing lobby and really friendly reception staff. The gym is kitted out with the latest equipment of which there is ample to choose from and the pool and spa area is also very modern. The restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly but the food wasn’t quite what I expected, I was so impressed with the hotel in general that I suppose I was expecting great things from the food which was nice but just a tad on the average side. That said It didn’t impact on the review of the place as a whole and when back in the area i certainly wont hesitate in returning. There is also a golf course on site which I can’t comment on and a well stocked shop of golf apparel.

Very nice hotel with laid back country club feeling. Bit disappointed with evening meals menu and price but there are other options around in the area. Pool area is very nice and kid friendly. The room we had got no sun and was a bit cold but heater was brought round when requested. Could not fault the staff who made our stay very comfortable.

Very good. Down there for a golf weekend. Excellent for a hotel course, rooms clean and comfortable, food great....and not really ripped off for drinks either...and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I think we'll be going back soon.

My girlfriend and I had an enjoyable stay here to celebrate my birthday, despite some drawbacks. Firstly, the facilities were a bit worn and could do with a refurb (which I understand is due to occur). However, the friendly staff and good service went a long way to make up for that. Especially the lady who runs the golf bar and Charlotte who provided a fantastic and informative massage. As a sporty guy, I loved the fact there were two gyms. The pool (although shallow) was a pleasant area in which to relax and the changing rooms had plenty of space. The other downsides were the evening food - we had booked the set menu and the options didn't remotely resemble the food available on the a la carte menu. The venue is also full of very drunk men (young and old) playing golf. At dinner we were sat next to a rowdy group who dashed to the bar for more drinks in between each course. This arrangement really disrupted what was supposed to be a romantic evening. I probably wouldn't take children to this hotel due to the inappropriate behaviour of this tier of clientele.

My sister and I enjoyed a lovely spa and afternoon tea package here. The pool, steam room, and sauna are nice - large changing rooms too. I had a facial with Charlotte which was amazing and she gave me some product recommendations too. My sister had a back, neck, and shoulder massage with Veera which she said was really good. Afternoon tea was nice - the savoury items in particular.

Attended a wake here in a ground floor meeting room. I think more people attended than expected so staff had to be asked to bring extra tables and chairs and put more staff on the bar (2 was probsbly not enough but it's a small bar area) in the ante room. All the staff were lovely, both rooms were clean and the main room was set out very well. Staff also kept replenishing the food. Bit surprised there were only 2 disabled car spaces for a place of that size.

I have used the spa twice and never been disappointed. I had a great massage both times, especially the full body hot stone massage which was fantastic and I have come away feeling so much more relaxed. The pool and facilities are lovely and clean and I would recommend to anyone.

Gifted a spa day here. Lovely hotel and grounds with a lovely golf course. I had a fantastic back massage and facial. It was excellent. Had a lovey cream tea too. The staff were brilliant, polite and attentive. Totally recommend.

Looking a little worn and I believe it is due a refurb. The staff were great and helpful. The food was of a decent quality and the facilities are decent enough. The pool could do with being a proper pool as you can't really swim in it.

Enjoyed my stay, really only spoke to reception, who were friendly and helpful. Lovely room with a view, spent a comfortable night. Breakfast also very good. Will stay again when down that way.

We had a spa day. Lovely experience. The staff who gave massage were knowledgeable, asked us about the pressure periodically, and were friendly. The gym area is quite small and a couple of machines were not working. The pool is also small, the jacuzzi was poor, and one was not working during our visit. The afternoon cream tea is minuscule. The sauna and steam room are an average size.

Pleasant greeting. Easy check in. Rooms were quite small and dark but it was a lovely location. The plus is if your ground floor you have a little patio!!!! Glorious in the sun shine :) highly recommended! Free parking too.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in for a quiet decent nights sleep. Nice pool and lovely treatments, enjoyed my massage. Food was great too and staff worked hard giving a good service. I liked the straight forward honest approach, saved so much time. For us it was when asking for coffee, sorry our coffee machine is not working, but you can get one from the bar downstairs. Probably the best, most efficient hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you Tudor Park 😊

Had a lovely weekend break here. Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Really friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was amazing. Nice pool with sauna and steam room as well as a gym. Only down side were rooms a bit dated although told their having a refurbishment and only 2 disabled parking spaces.

Good enough hotel. Not what you would expect from a Marriott/Bonvoy chain of hotels. The room wasn't cleaned properly either, there was a man's pair of.shorts left behind the chair in the room. The beds were comfortable enough but the decor lacked lighting and the table and chair had leather peeling which looked horrible. Furthermore the coffee machine in the room was broken and just removed dirt/old coffee bits as you can see in the image. The gym was great but the pool was very shallow. Wasn't worth going in for a swim as your knee would hit the bottom of the swimming pool, felt like a kids pool. I didn't mind the stay but it was a massive let down for such a chain.

MISSING BAGS FROM ROOM, ANTS AND OVER CHARGING. Wedding gift bag with £200+ worth of product went missing from my room. We were having a wedding down the road at The Orangery and ourselves and the majority our guests stayed at Tudor Park Marriott. I booked a suite for 2 nights. On the morning of the wedding, we were given a large gift bag with lots of product in it from a friend of ours. This was left on the TV stand in the living room of our suite, in front of the TV (so nowhere near the bin). The bag was also very obviously a gift bag and there is no way that it could have been mistaken for rubbish, as suggested by the staff when I raised the issue with them. We went to the wedding shortly after this. When packing up our things the next day, we noticed the bag was nowhere to be seen. I spent 45 minutes with the front desk staff trying to locate the bag, however, no luck. I was asked to email with the details of the issue and it would be sorted out from there. I emailed and only received a lacklustre response to say that Tudor Park Marriott trusts their staff. A very silly and strange response- this does nothing for our missing items. Items left in the room should be considered safe by the guests. Our room was locked, nobody else had access to the room (apart from staff). I would never stay with Marriott again after this. What a sour end to the wedding to have our gifts taken. On top of this, our room had lots of ants coming in from the doors that opened up on to the courtyard. I left the hotel with numerous bites on my legs. Finally, we were overcharged £121 on arrival from the rate that we pre-booked online. Thankfully, the front desk staff did refund this once I showed my email confirmation of the booking. The hotel did look nice and seemed to have good facilities, however, this will only be getting 1 star because something as simple but as serious as room security is an absolute must for hotels and completely shocking that this has happened and nothing could be done about this. For those considering staying here, be weary as you're belongings will be at risk when you leave the room. Unfortunately for us, the gift bag and product were much to large to fit in any safe, not that we should have needed to put it in the safe anyway.

Had a lovely golf break here. Hotel was great food very good, staff excellent and a good range of reasonably priced drinks. The golf course was very nice and a good test for players of all levels whilst not being to difficult for the occasional golfer. Will definitely make a return visit.

Spa treatments were excellent. Spa staff helpful and friendly. Checked in by Carolina who was very helpful. A lovely lady in the grill got us a filter coffee a little before they opened and did so with a smile 😃 Annalise did my treatments, back massage and scalp massage, both excellent. Bar for lunch is a little pricey and you can't wear robes. Pool area not fab but not awful. No jacuzzi, steam room not working, nice sauna. Overall a good day though because staff were fabulous.

Great hotel, food was really good. Spent a couple days here playing golf. Enjoyed the golf course. Will definitely have to return in the summer. So many leaves on the course that with the greens having been hollow tinned didn’t make for the experience we wanted. But an interesting layout and would definitely recommend this to outing to any golf group. High and low handicappers will enjoy the venue. And the pair of foxes made our day.

The room that I stayed in was bright and airy. The decor was nice but there were a few things that showed its age. The bottom of the bathroom door showed signs of water damage and the main bedroom door had paint missing from the bottom. The bed was very comfortable but do ask for extra pillows as they are for people who like soft pillows. The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy, I thought it was just my room but it seems to be a generic thing after speaking to others. The food was very good and cooked to a good standard. Overall a nice hotel. I would visit again.

Stayed here recently for a weekend due to a wedding nearby. It's a pleasant enough environment but the hotel is looking slightly dated. Both nights were noisy overnight due to the layout of the hotel, we had people outside their room on a patio beneath us. Breakfast was excellent but service at the dinner (Cast Iron Grill) was very poor - staff are polite but lacked basic training and general awareness.

Me and my family came down to Bearsted to see my uncle and aunt for a little weekend away. The Hotel outside and in was absolutely beautiful. We were check in by Otto who was kind helpful and always up for a laugh. Rooms very clean and nice looking. Pool was very nice and warm and steam room was amazing. The golf course very wide and nice stunning view to walk on. And breakfast was lovely especially the scrambled egg which was the best I have had. The only problem I had was the sink. The plug got stuck in the hole in room 112 but, That was my fault by pushing it to hard. Great experience, most definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Stunning hotel with an excellent standard of customer service, including front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. The hotel is set on beautiful grounds with very clean and spacious rooms. Bathrooms are quite dated but they do keep them clean. Breakfast is a lovely spread but the hot food is nothing to shout about, the breakfast coffee situation needs serious improvement. Overall, pleasant stay and would certainly return.

Booked an overnight spa break with my sister and I honestly cannot thank the team at Tudor Park Marriott enough, they made our stay feel like we were on a luxurious holiday. I would definitely recommend staying here, the service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast choices and dinner choices were absolutely divine. I booked this for my birthday and they arranged complimentary Prosecco in our room on arrival. Upon informing them that we don't drink, they were more than happy to offer us an alternative and brought up a massive bucket of J20 juices. Absolutely gorgeous grounds and such an amazing experience. I even took part in the gym classes, it was fantastic. Thank you so much.

Great stay. Good food. Perfect Massage. Phenomenal breakfast and attentive staff. I couldn't fault it if I am honest. I came with low expectations of the food after reading the other reviews but other than the calamari being oily, everything else was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the experience to be worth reviewing. I had a massage by Faye who was attentive and worked out the knots. I feel amazing! Only slight downfall were the kids in the pool and as someone who appreciates quiet, it got slightly noisy but still, it was a great experience. Oh.... the breakfast is worth a second mention. Full English with lots of extras. Even the scrambled eggs were nice and I never eat scrambled eggs at a breakfast buffet!
