I
visited
here
for
the
National
Honey
Show
which
is
every
year
around
about
October
half
term
time.
This
is
the
best
of
the
best
and
highly
competitive.
The
numbers
were
a
bit
down
from
usual
but
still
a
good
number
of
entries.
There
are
lectures
and
workshops
over
the
three
days.
To
make
the
most
of
it
you
join
and
book
online
quite
a
few
weeks
ahead
as
the
places
fill
up
quickly.
The
best
value
is
to
join
for
around
£20(I’m
not
sure
this
is
correct
but
near
enough)
which
gives
entry
for
three
days
and
all
the
lectures.
Workshop
are
extra
and
there
are
plenty
to
choose
from.
If
you
join
now
you
would
be
kept
up
to
date
with
the
news
and
sent
a
schedule
for
the
competition,
with
all
the
details
of
lectures
and
workshops
with
extensive
descriptions.
Daily
tickets
are
also
available
for
£15.
There
is
also
a
trade
show
running
over
all
three
days,
with
lots
of
goodies.
Hives,
books,
bee
clothing,
microscopes,
extractors,
candles,
and
many
more
beekeeping
items.
Just
remember
to
take
a
big
car!!!
