Watched some good racing followed by a concert by Simply Red at sundown. Fabulous view towards London from Wembley to the City. Very enjoyable on a warm summer day. The horses were doused with water afterwards with plenty for them to drink. There was about to be another heatwave only a few days after the last heatwave. I'm not going abroad when it's all happening here.

I visited here for the National Honey Show which is every year around about October half term time. This is the best of the best and highly competitive. The numbers were a bit down from usual but still a good number of entries. There are lectures and workshops over the three days. To make the most of it you join and book online quite a few weeks ahead as the places fill up quickly. The best value is to join for around £20(I’m not sure this is correct but near enough) which gives entry for three days and all the lectures. Workshop are extra and there are plenty to choose from. If you join now you would be kept up to date with the news and sent a schedule for the competition, with all the details of lectures and workshops with extensive descriptions. Daily tickets are also available for £15. There is also a trade show running over all three days, with lots of goodies. Hives, books, bee clothing, microscopes, extractors, candles, and many more beekeeping items. Just remember to take a big car!!!

Great fun for a day out. Plenty of parking on site and public transport links are good. Plenty of non-horse events too...antiques fairs, conventions, etc.

We enjoyed it as it was the very first "date" we had in 2009, the staff are polite, love the views, would be careful if you have walking problems, lots of slopes! Racing was exciting, concert mind blowing, love Simply Red ❤️

Great day out. Plenty of open space so didn’t feel crowded. Large bar areas so was really easy to get served without queues…that’s because there was a good number of employees behind the bar serving, shame the beer was very pricey. Not a great range of food on offer, but some fast food was enough to keep going, again very pricey for what you get. Races were good and entertainment at the end form DJ livened things up a bit.

Absolutely brilliant experience seeing the races and then watching Simply Red in concert (will definitely go again for the next races/rock concert combo here)! Lovely racecourse with a vibrant, fun atmosphere and lots of parking. Gets very crowded when leaving in your car so be prepared.

Very efficient vaccination centre, which wasn't too busy when I got my second jab.

Really great day at the horses too off with Craig David playing a set into the night. Was a great atmosphere all day and all the family emptied themselves. Great facilities with plenty of toilets and lots of selection of food and drink stalls. These were both in and outside which made everything very convenient. Parking was also free would highly recommend a visit

The National Honey was once again a great event opened by the Princess Royal with an informative speech & the shows history

Excellent racecourse in Esher. Good links by road and rail. Pre-parade ring, parade ring and course close together making for easy viewing.

Clean, organised and lovely to visit no matter the event. I attended for London Card Show and really enjoyed it.

I went here for a new event The London Gem & Mineral Show. This was an average sized event with 32 stands and talks on varied subjects all day. The hall was well laid out with plenty of room for all concerned. Each stall had its own well dressed booth that made it look like an event instead of a market. There was plenty of free parking even though it was very well attended. This show will go in the diary and I have subscribed.

Attended the Skybet Sunday series at Sandown today. The races started at 3:45 & finished at 6:45. Lovely warm day, resulting in a good turn out of people, however plenty of room around to move about. Hardly any queues for the food stands & bars. A great day out at a beautiful course

Was there for an art fair and seems to be a wonderful space. I didn't experience the racecourse itself but the exhibition space was well lit, clean, and staff were helpful and very polite.

The course itself fantastic very nice place indeed! But!!! If you like a beer like I do then this has to be avoided I tried every beer, larger and they were terrible ended up on cider! I used to love a pint of starapramen but it was awful! Will not be going back in a hurry not for 7 squid a pint ! it's not the money it put a proper dampener on the day! Such a shame

Came here for the craft exhibition, it's not the biggest hall but plenty of exhibitors many things to see. We were there for a good 4hrs including having lunch. There is a very nice hot food with many choices to pick. Plenty of seating and more space upstairs. It's a posh area so the parking bay is very wide and free.

We came here for the antique fair, and it didn't disappoint us. £2 per person admission. We saw furniture, home decoration, antique jewelries, clothing, and accessories on sale. There was even filming an episode of antique show while we were there.

Excellent venue to enjoy some racing, with easy access via car or train. There are plenty of food and drink options (although £11 for a fishcake and chips and £7.30 for a pint seemed a bit steep) and it's simple to move around the pre-parade and parade rings and the grandstand. The staff are also exceedingly friendly and polite.

Visited many times. One of my favourite racecourses for Jump meetings. Good facilities and a decent view of the whole course. This is not the case at so many other courses

02/07/22 meeting. First time at Sandown. Entrance was well organised and staff helpful. The course has a lot of bars and food stalls inside and out. Drink and food is expensive but was good quality. (Beer pint around £6.50) The queue’s weren’t too bad and were queue lines rather than everyone shoving in at a bar. Much better than some other courses I’ve been to. The racing was good and on time despite not having a winner.🙄 Although it was a main meeting, it wasn’t as busy as a lot of other racecourses meaning getting your bet on or your drink etc was easy. Overall a great day out with friends and will definitely go to Sandown again.

We stayed the night at the hotel, had room 1 on the ground floor. The staff were very good and helpful. It's right on the local high street so access to shops/pubs/cinema/take a ways & restaurants is ideal...

Lovely venue.. toilets were looked after & kept clean. But over priced food! The concert was amazing PLUS leaving the venue was well organised all the way to the main road 👏

A middle of the road race course, not too bad and certainly not amazing. Brought my wife and her friends into one of the enclosures and there was a massive brawl that started in one of the boxes and made it’s way down trackside. Drinks average/food average Been several times since and it’s been fine with the odd skirmish. Lots of people dressed up for the first time wearing suits they last wore on their court dates. As my gran would say “if you can’t behave at home you won’t behave in public”

Visited today for the honey show. Needless to say it was a disappointment to attend and my family will not be attending another one. Very few stalls and the events were lackluster, didn't even get to buy any honey, let alone try some samples. I spotted some jars, however upon enquiry they were "for display purposes only" ??

Went to this venue for the National Honey Show. A good turnout and lots to see or buy. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Will be going next year....
