This was the selected hotel, where everyone was staying for a wedding. Pros: Buffet food for event the night before the wedding was pretty good. Nice courtyard area. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. Cons: Our hotel room was in desperate need of an update. There was a giant stain on the dark carpet. There were large red and orange stains on the bath mat inside the bath. There were lots of small black hairs around the bathroom.

We have two young children (2 and 4) and booked this hotel as a quick and affordable weekend away for the kids to go swimming. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as stress free as possible and ensured the girls had a wonderful time. A special thanks to Sarah at reception who made sure the kids were able to have a quick swim before bed!

The Holiday Inn website pictures depict nice modern rooms, hence the reason I book. On arrival, the exterior of the building is ok, the reception area and lobby is well presented and modern, however I can not say that about the rooms. On arrival the reality was a totally different story. The room was very dated with stained carpets and a very worn couch that I refused to sit on as it looked so dirty. There were stains on the tray that contained tea and coffee, putting me off from using anything in the tray. I did not feel comfortable in the room and I would not dream of walking around without footwear. I will certainly not be staying here again and I would nor recommend it.

Cheap and cheerful accommodation. Great location to the motorway and 6 miles to Brands Hatch. Great facilities, gym, nice size pool & jacuzzi, bar and TV. We had a large triple room Ā£120 including breakfast, which is good value - the room just looks dated a tired. Beds were comfy

We stayed here for Brands Hatch and it was very decent. 10 min drive away. Pretty typical room but it was clean and spacious. Nice breakfast buffet and the front desk staff were lovely. Even random staff we saw walking around the hotel were super friendly and polite. We didn't use any of the amenities as it was just a quick overnight stay but would stay again. We ate supper at the beefeater 10 min walk up the road.

Fantastic hotel. Booked it for my parents 25th wedding anniversary as they got married here. Fantastic service, friendly staff, great food and a beautiful environment. They supplied us with a projector to show a video, let us use the function room till late and provided us with a friendly service throughout. The pool was also amazing along with the breakfast which had honey from the honeycomb and a pancake machine. Best cook breakfast Iā€™ve had in awhile! Didnā€™t use the gym but it was full equipped and even had a peloton bike!

I used to stay here all the time. Not only is it now very tired, but I also got hit with two parking fines of over Ā£100 despite entering the requested details. The process with their car-parking management company has so far taken me three months and they are still not accepting the mistake although I have provided proof that I was a guest at the hotel when the fine was issued.

Offering good value for money, we stayed with kids, so room could be a bit bigger, but it's manageable. Good breakfast! Only downside-no fresh juice. Steak dinner a little bit disappointing-not a best quality steak! Trust me, I've tried a few...! Kids meal to creative especially starter. Seems to be short staff in the restaurant, but whenever I was lucky to catch the waiter, they were very helpful and professional! Overall, it is recommended place to stay as you will get everything in one place for a reasonable price.

Comfortable stay for a few days. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was included so that was a plus. The had a full English buffet breakfast available. The gym facilities were good. There was a pool and at least 3 saunas. There was a hot tub neat the pool. The bar had a nice selection of drinks available. They had screens showing live matches in the lounge. Check-in and check out was smooth. Parking is charged at Ā£5 a day. Don't forget to register your vehicle while checking in. Everything else was šŸ‘

Had a thoroughly enjoyable midweek stay with our two children. The staff were fabulous - friendly, helpful and really went above and beyond for us. Our room was lovely - clean and comfortable. Plenty of options for breakfast and a great pool and spa area. The children are already asking when we can go back! The stand out for us though was the customer service - really refreshing and what has made us want to return.

Pretty much as expected. Comfortable rooms and friendly receptionists. Breakfast could be better, hence not 5 stars. (Very limited healthy food options, somewhat grey scrambled eggs didnā€™t look appetising).

Recently stayed here with my partner. Typical Holiday Inn style Hotel. Service at reception and the bar was good. Rooms seem quite old and in need of a refurb. Depending on which room you get, it can be quite a walk back to the lobby, as such is the hotel layout. Skipped the breakfast as it seemed pricey at Ā£14 per person. Good location for Brands Hatch circuit, only 15-20 minute drive.

Slightly disappointed. The room itself was quite nice in comparison to what I expected and the bed was comfortable. It was nice and spacious. However, there were a couple of things that really made the experience quite frustrating. I couldnā€™t access my room around six times. When I spoke to reception, they advised that the magnets in the key card might have been affected because it was in the same pocket as an electronic device. Each time I had to go back to reception for them to reset the key card and the first couple of times they told me to keep my phone or headphones in a different pocket, (which is absurd), which I did. By the 3rd time it happened I didnā€™t even have any electronic device on me and it continued to happen up to the 5th occasion, after that I settled down for the night. Most of the night I heard a repetitive beeping noise, I wasnā€™t sure where it was coming from but it meant I had a terrible sleep. After breakfast I went back to my room to find I couldnā€™t get in again! At which point I went back to the reception to complain. Eventually, they sent a member of staff to check the lock, and it turned out that the battery on the door lock was running out, which explained the beeping noise. I donā€™t know why it took 6 times for someone to come and finally take a look but it meant I was late for a work meeting. The other disappointing experience I had was at dinner. I was sat down and told someone would be back to take my order in a couple of minutes. 20 Minutes went by before someone eventually came over and asked ā€˜has someone taken your order?ā€™ To which I said, no. I ordered my food and the waitress went to walk away without even taking a drinks order, I had to ask for a drink. Another 40 minutes went by before my food arrived, at no point during those 40 Minutes did anyone ask if I wanted another drink or if I was okay. It also turned out that the restaurant menu I was looking in the room beforehand was an old menu and different to the menu they handed me in the restaurant (no big deal but thought it worth mentioning). I did leave the Holiday Inn feeling quite annoyed and disappointed, would hope if I stayed again I wouldnā€™t have a repeat of these issues.
