One off the best places to fish in kent the grounds are well looked after staff will help you and give advise on the 7 lakes they are easy to get to disabled friendly plenty of parking space by each lake toilets at each lake there's a tackle shop plus a great cafe were fellow anglers will gather and discuss tactics and for first time anglers I suggest going on sandwhich or kettles not the biggest but good size carp and plenty once you see this complex your see that there prices to fish on this venue is very good value for money plus if I was you book in advance this is a very popular venue and if you don't get an answer when calling first time keep trying the staff are always busy around the complex improving it I personally rate this venue 5 out 5

Good place for relaxing and catching good size of carp,coffee and sandwiches on side near the lakes. Bookings only by phone.

Spent 3 days on prairie lake, incredible place. Facilities were top notxh, friendly advice from the bloke at the cafe, tackle shop was good and the bailiffs really friendly and helpful. Managed to pull out 2 30s and a couple of 20 pounders. Will definitely be back to target the big girls!

Superb fishing, great facilities and all weather swims.

Had a great 24hr session we had on Kettles Lake, lost count of the number of nice carp we had out. We must have had 100lb in weight of carpinside an hour of setting up. With about 12 lakes to choice from there is a lake suit all levels.

Visited Elphicks 20/21 August and fished Plantation lake. The fishery is beautiful, the bailiffs were very helpful and work hard to keep the fishery maintained to such a high standard. We were warned that Plantation was a hard fish and so it proved. The fish are clearly there - as evidenced by the large specimens we saw throwing themselves around - but are obviously wily old souls who easily outwitted us! The facilities are very good including an independently run cafe which serves great food at affordable prices. We will be going back to try one of the other beautiful lakes!

Had 24hrs on kettles lake, the swim and surrounding area are immaculate. Bailiffs and staff very friendly. Caught 17 carp mostly around 10lb few bigger ones. Really enjoyed it

Best fishery in Kent or possibly the country, only downer is the price is a little steep but you still go away happy as the fishing is amazing.

Went for a look around with a friend. Haven't fished it as yet but will be doing so. Looks very good and clean everywhere. Has a cafe too to get a cuppa and a sarnie

Best place I’ve blanked in ages. Joke aside, extremely well looked after and managed. Great facilities and sensible booking approach, not overcrowded so plenty of swim. Tackle and bait available at the office/shop and friendly advice if needed. This is likely to be my go to from now on.

Fished Kettles lake, great swims good size and well kept. Hards days fishing due to weather but saw a nice 20lb fish caught by another angler. Looking forward to visiting again and catching a biggun myself ! 🎣

This place must be the pride of fishing. We went there last year, 2022, on Sandwich lake and blanked; but it was so hot, we could only watch the shoals of carp swim across the water. The facilities are great. Not to put off we went later in the year on Kettles, I like fishing but I also like reading; the amount of fish I caught meant I had to reel the lines in just so I could read! I love Perch fishing and got some good ones, the carp might not be huge but they are in good fighting condition, so a joy to catch. The pegs are well decent, the staff are polite, friendly and informative but getting them on a phone is difficult, no network coverage so not there fault; no Wi-Fi so no internet chess, also not there fault but as a place to fish I cannot fault it. We tried to book for this year but left it to late and ended up on the lake from hell close by. All three of us are looking forward to our five days in September. Elphicks, I can see why you get great reviews.
