Fantastic bus service into the centre of Cambridge. Only £6 for two adult returns. Parking is free all day for up to 18 hours. That's incredibly cheap for a day's parking and travel into the centre. Brilliant service.

Easy to find, large car park. Free parking for 8 hours and bus fare is £3.50 return. CCTV on site. Quick escape to fast roads as well. Will definitely use again.

Fantastic facility. Buses run every 10 minutes & take 6 minutes into Cambridge. Accept well behaved dogs on the bus. Driver very helpful, friendly and informative. £3.50 return fare. Lots of car parking spaces. Thoroughly recommend this stress-free way to travel. 25/9/23, 12.10 pm.

Nice PR and free of cost. You have a bus and charges for adults 3.5 and kids can be accompanied with adults. The washroom is available.

Parked my car for a couple of days and it was safe and well on my return. Decent facilities including a public toilet. Handy to get the bus to town but it's not even that far to walk if you fancy the exercise!

Great. Huge car park, plenty of space to park for free. You just pay £3 per adult for a return ticket right into the city centre. They run every 10-15 mins. Much better than driving into the city centre and trying to find parking. Bus can get busy during peak times.

Great set up for day trip with free parking and cheap return on the bus. But cost quickly mounts up over 18 hours. I paid over £25 for just over 24 hours including bus tickets. Very clear info on the website.

Reccomend if wanting to visit Cambridge City Centre. It was easy to find and navigate. Parking is free and bus fee was £3 per person. Can hop on and off as many times as you want throughout the day which was useful

Nice large park & ride. Frequent buses to city centre & the staff member we saw was very helpful talking to us about the city. (which was helpful for day visitors) Love the fact the buses return quite late in the evening, allowing us to eat before heading home.

Madingly park and ride is one of the best and easiest ways to get into the city center. At the time of this writing: Tickets vary from a £2 one way ticket and a £3.50 return one. Busses run every 10 minutes in the day and go down to every 20 minutes after around 7pm. ⚠️ important⚠️ With the new busses you cant walk on and pay with cash. If you only have cash you will need to find another way to buy a ticket. With the new funding from the government all the park and ride busses have been switched to electric so you don't have to worrie about polluting the environment as much. Overall the park and ride services are amazing for moving in and out of the city for anything. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

To kick off ,the Sat Nav took me to a dead end no parking residential street via a huge student accommodation estate. Not so good. The rest is all good. Loads and loads of car park spaces. Good free clean toilets. A very regular park and ride bus service to the centre of town. A really solid reason why not to drive into the town. Best of all , you can use your regional pensioners bus pass if you are lucky enough to be of an age to hold one. First visit to Cambridge for many a year , but due to the ease of parking here ,we will add Cambridge to our favourite place to visit list.

Great local Park n Ride for Cambridge City Centre, buses are electric. The cost of return ticket is far cheaper than the centre car park. Always use this Park n Ride.

Lots is space to park. Some electric car charging places too. Reasonably clean public toilets. All electric Park & Ride buses with WiFi for passengers. Plenty of regular buses.

Really handy for getting in to Cambridge quickly and without having to worry about expensive parking charges. £3.50 return and it drops you in the heart of the town, what's not to like? Never had a problem finding space either.

As a visitor to Cambridge it's ok, plenty of car parking spaces. Toilets adequate but need updating. Waiting room has barely comfortable metal seating. I assume all the ticket machines are broken, which is why we paid £3.50 fare by card on the bus. Regular service into town which is well used.

Plenty of space in the car park. The toilets were clean. Bus, service worked well and very often. We missed the first bus which left before we got to the bus stand. The next arrived and we soon left. The old stinking fossil fueled busses are being replaced with clean and quiet all electric busses. These are excellent and so quiet. Uncanny sitting at the traffic lights in absolute quietness.

Used the Park and Ride 4 days and it was very easy to find, lots of parking available. Feels safe, cctv on site. 18 hours free parking. Directions are very clear when you enter. Toilets available. There's shelter if it's raining otherwise there's plenty of space near the bus stop to wait for the bus. The buses were every 10 minutes, even at busy times there's more than enough seating. £3.50 for a return ticket, and i paid contactless on the bus. Quick and easy. Drivers are welcoming and friendly. On my 1st day of use, i asked the drivers quiestons and they were helpful. Top Tip- If you park near the exit, you are next to the bus stop and quicker to exit when you return.

Went for a day out in Cambridge. Parked at the park and ride. Cat park free, pay to use the bus. UNLESS you are of a certain age and have a bus pass In which case it was totally free!! Can't be bad. A benefit of getting old!!

Very busy on Cambridge uni open day with loads of people parked illegally. Next day eat much more pleasant. Easy to reach from our base in st Neots, quick regular buses

So easy to park the car and jump on the buses, which were clean, frequent with friendly drivers. Apart from only a very few bus priority-lane into Cambridge (from Madingley Road Park) which would have made the experience more perfect.

I notice that Madingley Road Park and Ride went back to free parking and pay for the bus into Cambridge. We hadn't been since before the lockdowns. Otherwise, an excellent car park with a great bus service using the PR1's to get into town.

Plenty of parking spaces on a busy Saturday. Big queue, but went down quickly. Friendly driver, best way to get into the city only £3.50 return fare.

  • 5/5 Darren R. 8 months ago on Google
Was a great location for us to park and only took around 10 mins before we were in Cambridge. I suspect even having four pay the £3.50 return fare is still cheaper than paying to park in the limited parking in the city centre

Easy to use contactless, bus driver was really helpful & kind. Lots of parking spaces, easy to get to car park, and runs into eve around 8- 8.30pm from city centre to P&R. Can park overnight too. 👍

Usually avoid going into Cambridge as parking is so expensive, but went in on a late Saturday afternoon to go to an evening show and decided to give the P&R a go. Lots of free parking, £3 return per person for the bus, a fast ride into town. So far, so good. On the way back however, got to bus stop to discover the buses had stopped at 8.30pm. On a Saturday night. Had to get a taxi to the P&R (with comfortable shoes it could have been a 45 minute walk). On the way there opened Google maps which announced the P&R closes at 8.40pm!! There were barriers there so we weren't even sure if we would be able to get our car out again so it was quite a stressful journey. Fortunately the barriers were still up, I don't know if they do put them down normally but why on earth would buses stop running and the P&R shut so early on a Saturday night in a busy city, when we are all being encouraged to not drive into the town centre?
