DO NOT come here, really. Horrible store, horrible customer service, glacially slow checkout line, expect to be aggressively followed around the store.

I got to the pharmacy, saw two people “working” but not engaging customers, it was 3 of us. The lady basically wasted time until it was 8pm n time to close, she told everybody come back tomorrow, your prescription is not here, system is closing, she was the one who created the line in the first place. Somehow the other guy was actually able to help people she had already dismissed.

I had an incredible experience today at the CVS with STEFFANY who was very helpful and also help me save some money on my purchase by helping me sign in for the cvs card. Anyone going to the Landover location Ask for STEFFANY for help you won't regret it.

The staff at this pharmacy are so amazingly patient and helpful. It’s almost unbelievable compared to all other CVS locations I’ve been to. They actually answer the phone and take the time to find the info you’re asking for. Same in person. Amazing. 5 stars, thank you!

CVS in Landover Maryland. This is like any other CVS store. The store has all the snacks, medicine and other products you need. It’s a good store because it is CVS and the store does close at 10pm. This location has a pickup or drop off UPS location inside next to the front counter with the cashier. As you walk into the store, You see all the medicine and medical supplies on the right and all the snacks, drinks, food and other miscellaneous items on the left. The store itself isn’t bad for being in the area but it isn’t the best either. This CVS does need an upgrade. It does look run down and doesn’t look like it isn’t taking care of. It just doesn’t look like the modern locations in other areas. There is security inside this location. So I guess you can feel a little safer. The employees are mostly working their butts off but the manager doesn’t look busy at all while there is a line at the counter. Every time this CVS get busy, the manager never steps in to help the employees at the counter, Not once. Kinda feel bad for them in my opinion. Good leadership comes great responsibility and that responsibility is something you need to learned from. The employees overall besides the manager is great and very professional and helpful. They are really nice and always wanted to help the customer. This CVS is cleanish if that make sense. The location is clean but just really run down like I said in my previous comment above. It’s just really needs an upgrade and that mostly comes down to ownership of the store. I really don’t recommend this location. There is another CVS like literally 8 minutes down the road and Walgreens across the street. If you do come to this location then get ready for bad management and long lines for the counter to check you items out. It’s like waiting for a ride at an amusement park sometimes. Overall 2.1/5

I shouldn’t be at CVS at 8:05 and they still not open. Making me late for work because I’m here at the store and isn’t open on time. Not acceptable. Manager didn’t even apologize for being late. I have pics of the employee standing outside and she said yes we open at 8 but my manager not here. SMH.

This morning I called in at 10:06am to check the status on a new prescription. This is my first time using any CVS as my pharmacy. I had a really hard time with the automated system and it ended up forwarding me to the in store staff. The pharmacy staff who answered the phone didn’t identify themselves or their role. I shared I was looking to check the status of my prescription. She told me that they just opened and that they still hadn’t turned on the computers and that she wasn’t going to be able to help me and that I just needed to call back in 30 minutes. I asked if that also meant I couldn’t pick up the medication. She told me that I could just use the automated system to get the status if I didn’t want to wait. I attempted to tell her I had tried but was a new customer. As I made this attempt, she continued to interrupt me stating that she couldn’t help me, she was “staring at a blank screen”, that I could call back in 30 minutes because she couldn’t help me asking me what I expected her to do. I again tried to tell her I was new and was just trying to find out about this medication— I wanted to ask for the generic name of the med so I could try the auto system again. But I was never able to ask for the generic name because She interrupted me again repeating the same thing. I told her I apologized she was having a hard morning but that I was new and just wanted some help and that she didn’t have to be rude to me. She hung up. Arrived an hour later to the pharmacy, waited 15 minutes in line, and the med hadn’t even been processed. Told me to come back hours later. So basically when they open they don’t have a plan to help you for 30 minutes after opening time….how are you completely unwilling to listen or help during their business hours…. Why didn’t they have a protocol to turn on computers and login to systems before business started? Why was this all happening at once? I will be moving my prescriptions and have let my spouse know to do the same.
